So I ve been buying hay from Lees feed for about 6 years now. I buy mostly Teff hay for my Haflingers. As the years have gone buy the quality of Teff hay is
consistently going Into the toilet.The prices are at all time highs for this type of hay. See pictures attached that showed what I have pulled out of 1 flake of Teff hay and this is just a small amount out of the entire load I received. The large piece probably could have broke a tooth which would be a very expensive vet bill. Wish they would do better quality control of what they are selling to the public.

My fave place to get frogs dog food and clothes all in one place

I buy timothy and orchard hay in bulk for my rabbits from here. It is a bit of a drive for me, but the price is well worth it. I buy enough for a 2 month supply so I don't have to make many trips. I also pick up their litter from here (Yesterday's News, Soft Texture, Fresh Scent). They're the only place that carries the smaller bags.

The Lee family has been hugely supportive of their customers and El Dorado County for many years. As a customer of almost 30 years, I can't say enough good things about the family and their staff. The store itself has grown tremendously and offers a huge inventory of everything critters and their people need or desire. This is my niece from Idaho's favorite CA shopping destination! Eat your heart out Macys and Nordstroms :-)

We have been customers at Lee s Feed for 35 years. They are always friendly, helpful, and honest. Their products are top notch. Best feed store around!

Lee's feed destroyed my whole tank by selling me sick fish. Now my entire tank and everything in it is blue from the treatment and I have 30 dead fish. I am told they will not cover the cost of any of my fish even though I have spent a fortune stocking my tank with fish from this store. "Its a risk you take when buying live fish" they say.... No! How about you make sure the fish you sell are healthy?!?! Buyer beware!!!

This store has it all. Food for my whole crew of pets and livestock. Adorable clothing, and home accessories. As well as a highly trained staff.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have all the farm stuff you need and they loaded the straw into the truck.

Get much of our pet & horse supplies at Lees. Been shopping there since 2004.

Wonderful caring staff. I stopped there to use their self serve pet wash. The staff was very helpful. At the same time, they were collecting donations of food, clothing and anything else useful to be delivered to victims of the Camp fire to the north.
I would definitely recommend this place and will be sure to stop by next time I'm in the area.

I enjoy going to this location on a regular basis to get feed that I need for our animals. They have great staff is knowledgeable and friendly customer service is always great. I would recommend them for any kind of feed tack or working where that you need.

Lee's Feed always partners with Fat Kitty City for our Cat Food Drive!! Our donation barrel was overflowing with all kinds of cat food and treats!!

Wife is incredibly high risk; I myself haven t left the house in months. Called Lee s because 6 of 7 eggs didn t hatch and needed chicks NOW to grow with the one survivor. They were so kind, talked me through the order, let me stay in my truck while they handled everything. I ve already been a loyal customer for years and years but I can t stress enough how important of a resource Lee s Feed is to our locality.

Has everything we need. Always clean, organized, and the employees are very welcoming and friendly.

ALWAYS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE! The staff is always friendly and if you find someone who can't help you the actually walk you to someone who can & always apologize politely. I've been going here since the early 2000's and have never had a bad incident. It's a zoo come bucket sale day; but other than that there's never a bad shopping experience day here. Love you guys! Love this place for so many reasons. The service is superb. The dudes loading hay to the gals in the front. Was late getting dog food (amazing selection btw!!)after work one day. So I called ahead and let them know what I wanted. They charged my card and had someone waiting for me after they closed with the food and even loaded it up for me. The weekly text alerts are amusing. I travel out if my way for Lee's.

I really like Lee's Feed,,they have the most helpful employee's and they are the very informative when it comes to fish and Aquatic supplies I will be only shopping at this pet store in the near future thank you Lee's feed for being nice and helpful and making my experience a good one!

This is a great place. I go to buy tropical fish and their staff is so informed on tropical fish it is amazing. They are very up to date on on lights, diseases, plants, everything to do with aquariums. They are so helpful. They also have salt water fish although I don't have a salt water aquarium.

Every time I go there, the staff is very friendly and informative. I have never had a bad experience. Prices are a bit high but I would rather have an awesome experience than pay a dollar or two less. Robert that works in the feed area helped me big time with getting the right food for my dog knowing exactly what each dog brand and ingredients suited my older dog with hip issues. There was another lady very sweet but can never remember her name. She is a little older and was very formative about supplies and needs for my dragon. And always there to help with a smile on her face. Wish I could remember her name. Even the girls at the desk counter are helpful, cheerful, and all show their own personalities but in a very good way. And again always offers a helping hand for questions or information and remember their customers and they always ask how my dogs doing or how she had been. Which is wonderful to be a part of and have that one on one treatment and care. Well worth the visit even if you are just browsing.

Surprisingly good selection and very helpful and friendly staff. Small town feel but first rate customer service.

Assistance on the floor is excellent but the prices of their merchandise is very expensive otherwise they carry almest everything you need for the pets.

Love the clothes here as well as being able to pick up my fur babies treats food!

Because I work there. All the people who work and shop there are super nice and friendly. I like my job in the hay barn helping customers because Lee's feed tears me well. Come and see.

I was very disappointed that no one in the store was wearing a mask and no noticeable social distancing.

I ve been going there for a long time. We got a new dog and his food came with him, so when his food was running low I began to call around to different places to see if they carried Natural Balance L.I.D. Most stores carried Natural Balance, but not the L.I.D, but a store in Folsom did. I though about Lees Feed and called, not only do they carry the L.I.D, but it s cheaper then Petco,Folsom. Highly recommend!

Pretty good store with reasonable prices on certain things. Friendly employees. Most are knowledgeable.

Called to see if they accept HEAP voucher for wood stove pellets. Got hung up on after I spoke to the lady who answered phone. After that NO ANSWER or phone answered and then a hang up. Being poor is not a illness but being TREATED poorly is..will not do business here and DONT if you have care for others. All they had to say was no we dont accept.

They dont do returns on Bettas (everywhere else does) and the girl whom I am intentionally not naming so she doesn't get reprimanded, she always makes me feel pressured into not buying a fish just because mayyybeee they won't get along. Ive been mixing odd types of fish for a long time. Also she recommended I get 3 female bettas, guess what? They killed each other. They're passive, they wont do that. Uhuh.

Love this place! They have everything you need and they're always willing to help. It's a bit pricier than a Walmart on some things, but then again Walmart doesn't carry all that this store has to offer...

Did you know that there are two different stores there? There's the feed store and then a western wear store behind the feed store...

Love their sales racks I visit every time I'm heading to Tahoe and always score a good deal of the sale rack.

Employees are very knowledgeable. I go for tropical fish. And treats for my dogs.

Great boutique store for Christmas shopping! And we are able to get anything we need for the chickens in the front store.
