I visited today with my 5yr old and 5 month old sons. We really enjoyed the motors by the more event and lots on to keep them interested. It's a great place for a picnic and just a relaxing walk and my son loves the new castle play ground. Would really recommend Leeds castle.

Booked online for 11am you have to show a car park sticker which you get online when you book, big queue .
Entry process is a joke you have to show different emails which you have received when booking.
Grounds are nice, inside castle was a bit underwhelming but there isn't a extra charge for entry just do this when you book online.

Definitely a lack of map boards in the grounds with locations of facilities and attractions.

7 out 10 for a day out.

Interesting place and history well presented and informative...Afternoon tea was equally well presented and enjoyable best prebooked in present conditions. ..and was that we found was a bit under par although prebooked we still were held in queues and those supposedly directing things leaving their post to chat but without covid it probably works OK.

Excellent! For adults (park, castle ...) as for children (castle, labyrinth, but especially large wooden structure.View nowhere else). And for all, a real mini golf extraordinary to 2 pounds per person.
A clarification, when the ticket machine will offer the ticket valid for one year, say yes! Even if you do not go back, you will be entitled without extra cost to a nice photo. And that alas, the lady does not explain it to you ... (visit end of April 2019 for us).

Leeds Castle is a great place to visit. The castle and gardens are so beautiful and the history is very interesting. I went there with Discovery Tours, and I'm really happy with this choice because the tour guide Andrew was very kind, and the the coach journey was comfortable. I enjoyed this tour a lot, and I'm looking forward to visiting other places with this company!

I went there with my daughter's school. It was a horrible day with loads of rain but we had a great time.

The highlight of the day was the maze and grotto. We had a tour of the main house was lovely, steeped with history. Grounds are well maintained and we will be going there again with a picnic hamper. Food facility was good and modern cafe/restaurant. Had a coffee with a few of the parents and it was good.

Was very easy to get to from the M20 with loads of signs. All in all a great day out.

I visited today for the Festival of Flowers!
The displays in the Castle were wonderful, was very hard to vote on the best !!
Congratulations to all involved.
Down side - I visited on Friday & was very disappointed as you could not see the rooms properly aa there were dozen of workers there setting up.
If I'd been told I would not have paid to go through. I should have been told!!!!
Not happy

It is a castle that has been tremendously timeless. It seems that the Foundation is currently managing it, but it is well maintained and there are various facilities and we will not get tired of visitors. It is a place where you can spend one day slowly while listening to audio commentary.

The gardens and grounds are great to explore. Lovely formal gardens, woodland, lakes and streams with water plants, ducks, swans and geese.
The castle itself is just a small part of the experience, itself a great place to wander around.
The attractions within the grounds are growing, with so much to keep the kids, and adults amused.
A good day out!

Lovely walk from the entrance to the castle through wooded area with lots of wildlife, including ducks geese and swans. If the walk is too much there's a road train which goes from the entrance to the lake and back. There's a boat across the lake, although we've never been on it. Castle is good, with some small shops by it. Further on past the castle there's a maze, wild bird area for shows and finally a park areas for the kids and a snack shop! So plenty to do, we love it!

First visit today with my 7 year old and 6 month old daughter. I was really concerned when I read I couldn't take a pushchair into the castle. I read the castle provides baby slings but being a rather large mummy I was afraid they wouldn't fit me but I worried for no reason. The lady behind the desk fitted it to me so my baby was perfectly safe and this meant we got to go into the beautiful castle. We now have annual passes so will be popping back very regularly. Loved every minute!

Beautiful castle, tricky maze, glimpse of birds of pray, spacious playground and castle for kids and very well maintained gardens. Many paths and secluded benches for quiet rest, refreshment points on every corner, also plenty of WC. Great choice for relaxed day , whoever we managed to make more than 6 km just walking around.

The castle is surprisingly warm. It's beautiful and well kept. the staff is friendly. the hallways are tiny and even though they limit the number of viewers at a time people seem to still end up clustering in on spot at time. we tried to either stay ahead or behind the clusters for our own comfort while viewing the rooms. The grounds looked amazing but we didn't have enough time to view it all because of the tour we were on.

I don't think it's the "loveliest castle in England" as often claimed, but the gardens are beautiful. The castle itself is a bit of a mish mash of medieval to late-medieval to 19th century architecture. A bit pricey for the ticket.

Stunning and well turned out. The falconry and wildlife are a joy to behold. The only marred by the wait staff not their fault but there are insufficient people to deal with the volume of public. The long waits for food and drink, the estimate 30 mins + to be fed
