Visited the Leeds Castle Christmas Market was so beautiful a good variety of stalls and we had some amazing German sausage! The castle was superbly decorated with tons of chrismtas trees, flowers and there was a cute older gentle playing the piano! The whole place was stunning and for a Saturday not as busy as I expected. I would however like to mention the reason I have given it three stars and that was the complete inadequacy of the parking situation. I parked on a muddy field it was so slippery not only was parking a nightmare but the conditions under foot were pretty bad as well. On the way out of the so called car park there were cars getting stuck in the mud getting out its was really horrible.

We had an amazing time at Leeds castle today, the grounds look stunning and my grand children, age 5 and 14 both love the castle. They love hunting for the items on the sheet, it makes looking round the castle so much fun for them. You could never get bored of such a beautiful place.

Went here in the summer... Was lovely to walk around. If you have kids I wouldn't say there is loads to do for them. As I struggled to entertain myself haha. Is a beautiful castle though and for the more cultured a person would be very interesting.

The Loveliest Castle in the World is their slogan. Go visit this place, and you know why. The castle dates back to the year 879. A very spacious park and gardens with a lake and the castle on its island. Dedicate one full day for the visit. Since the park is so large, you may rent a bicycle to run around. Admission fee is 25GBP per adult, and in case you are interested in family tickets: it s 76GBP for 2 adults and up to 4 children. In case you book in advance via the internet, you save 1 to 4 GBP. Beautiful place. Staff were really friendly and always lots to do. Seeing the falconry, exploring the maze and grotto, walking round the gardens and castle. The flower festival was on too which was lovely.

Great place for day out with kids, plenty of
History and lovely grounds. Falconry displays at 2pm, train to get you around and back if needed. Food can be expensive for some but you can take a picnic yourself.
I believe it's last entry a 3pm but close at 5pm, so get there early!

Had a special day out with my Grandaughter who is 11. We had a brilliant day. Went on the ferry and train. Visited maze. Saw falconry display. We went around the castle. I love Leeds Castle. Ticket lasts all year. Worth the money!

It was great, but.....

So much buildup; world's best castle? I was expecting more.

Very limited military history, and very little militaria. Not an awful lot in the way of fine art or furniture, and what was there wasn't hugely unique.

That said, I would recommend visiting and I will try to go back inside a year to make the most of the eye-watering pocket-pilfering year pass tickets.

Good little testing 9 hole course, reasonably priced as well.the day we played we did 18 holes but we're disappointed when we had to play back 9 from same tee's. It would benefit from slightly different tee's coming back

There is nowhere like Leeds Castle. The stunning grounds, the magnificent castle make it perfect for a day out.
There is so much space for children to let of steam. If you go on a nice day there are plenty of places for picnics and there is a restaurant. They have falconry displays, jousting and several events all through the year which are included in the admission ticket. There is a maze and children's playground that will suit all ages.
At Christmas the castle rooms are all decorated to a theme and it looks beautiful and stunning.
Whatever time of year you visit you will never be disappointed, its well worth the admission price as you can visit as often as you like for a year.
There is a land train for a small fee, for people who aren't so keen or able to walk from the car park to the castle.
A well stocked gift shop with items of varying prices and bird food for feeding, geese, ducks and peacocks.
Well worth a visit.

Leeds castle is an amazing day out for the family. Lots of entertainment for kids including a playground and mini golf. Castle very well done(social distancing wise). I would highly recommend going there but just dress warmly!

If M25 is not crowded, it will arrive from London in about 90 minutes. The parking lot is spacious and free.
The castle itself is small, but the garden is well maintained and beautiful.
There are cafes and attractions so you can spend a relaxing day. Tickets can be entered smoothly by purchasing them on the Internet in advance. If you want to visit many times, you can make a year pass at the ticket office.

Quite nice grounds, but there's plenty of beautiful places in the UK. Might be nice if your into royal history but as someone who isn't interested in that at all it's a massive waste of time and money.

Had some pretty cool swans though. Doing swan stuff.

A lovely day out, shame it was cold and windy, but it was very informative on the castles history and how it has changed over the years. They had a children's quest booklet for them to find whilst walking about, which they all enjoyed doing. The maze was fun and the grotto is pretty. There is also a huge play area and golf, they had a falconry show on as well. We had a very good day and we will be coming back.

History of 900 years ago up to the present time was extremely interesting- with thanks from the late lady Ballie & The Leeds Castle foundation.
We had a fabulous day & will definitely be coming back & would thoroughly recommend to all ages - a great day out.

Lovely and tranquil. Beautiful grounds and beautiful castle with long and wide ranging paths around the gardens and scattered woods. Will be heading back there and dedicating a whole day for the next visit.

Warning: take a pack lunch and buy your gifts at the entrance. The restaurants do not stay open very long, their menus are a bit costly and lack variation. Furthermore, when it was time to leave I found that the gift shop had shut. It's normal for visitors to buy a momento after visiting but here that was not taken into consideration. Otherwise the castle was beautiful and very interesting. The staff were friendly and helpful. Wheelchairs were really available. The falconry display impressed as did the grotto at the end of the maze. Well worth the visit.

What an amazing place. We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The castle itself is very interesting and is geared towards loading your brain with as much medieval history as possible. The moat is so nice that I actually ask my now wife to marry me there. Overlooking the water and the castle how much closer to a fairytale can you get :)
