I purchased a New 500.00 bike on 5/3/20 just to get it home & find out the seat post was all scratched up from lack of knowledge on how to assemble a bike & No Manual for this New Purchase, I was told they don't have any more lololol, this is something that should have been on the bike all ready. A Staff that Lacks Professionalism, I've purchased there before years ago when there was a better staff but from what I witnessed I Will Never Spend Another Dollar At That Store! I'm Afraid To Take It Back For The 30 Day Check Up

went in there, barely any bikes, asked for mountain bikes and was told they only had 1 and it was $1500, walmart has better selection and customer service

Extremely Professional, staff was exceedingly helpful the service is amazing I know where I will be returning.

Simply the best bike repair store there is anywhere east of the Mississippi. The mechanics are superb and the head mechanic is the most experienced person I've ever met. He's not only a great mechanic but is also very friendly and helpful. You can also get any biking gear you can think of. Plus they sell some nice bikes too.

Great people. Family owned and operated business for many years. Always going the extra mile to help customers.

I always go to Lee's Bicycle shop, can't even guess how many new and used bikes I've bought, how many times they've repaired my bikes, or filled the tires with air. They are a real treasure in our neighborhood for a long, long time, even get my keys made there and years ago they unlocked the bathroom door when my 3 year old had locked himself in there.

This bicycle shop is awesome! They let you air up your tires for free. Just enter the store to the right there is a yellow hook you just use whenever you need it. Prices are fair and service is fast and reliable. It has access for wheelchairs and bikes- you can find really great deals on used gear as well as new.

Awesome and very friendly group. They assembled a bike i bought online, told me a estimate on how much it would cost. Came back the next day, it was built, price did not change. They helped me buy other stuff I requested. They have my business from now on.

The people who work there have been very pleasant. They didn t try to sell me the most expensive bike, they found something that fit my needs. The problem lies with the bike itself. Over $400 on a bicycle and the front tire has rubbed since day one. I have brought it in over 4 times and it still makes the same noise. They claimed it was the basket causing it that they sold me so I asked if they would credit me the basket for the more expensive rack in the back and they said no because they can t confirm it s the basket. I can barely ride it, can t make right turns, and extremely disappointed/frustrated with my overpriced-problematic bicycle.

Just went to the shop this morning. They only charged me $5.35 to check my bike, re-shape the front tire and clean up the chains. The staff was nice and the place is neat! No appointment needed, I'll come back!

Awful service made me drive 17 MI for tires they said they had in stock when I got there they said they made a mistake they don't have those but a waste of my time and gas they need to learn their jobs and do a better job at it

They did a great job on my Cannondale putting a chain and a sprocket on it. I highly recommend them.

I was welcomed by a smiling women and directed to the right person. I had a situation with one of my keys. The man behind the counter was friendly and courteous. The work was done within a short time. And the man said Thank you ! I felt like I was treated like I was the only person in the store. Stop by and look at all the bikes and all the merchandise. I will buy my bike there. They made me feel good. Many businesses could learn from them !

I left a new bike at the shop to be assembled around 10 days ago. The guy told me that it s going to be 53 dollars and the bike would be ready in a few days. Almost a week later, I called a few times and went personally to see what is going on. They finally started to take an initiative to assemble the bike after a week of waiting for nothing. When they finally called me a couple days later, they told me they had to change a part and randomly increased the price to 76 dollars. When I went to pick up the bike, I spoke to the owner who was very disrespectful and unprofessional and his story was to take the bike or leave it. That s not the way that business is done. If you can t promise anything to your own customers, don t even deliver because other shops are an option. With the bad experience I had, I will let all of my bike club members know to avoid this shop.

This is my go-to shop, for all my bike needs. Knowledgeable and fair priced.

I called ahead of time looking for some yakima parts for my bike rack. I gave them specific part numbers of what I was looking for. I told them I was driving an hour to go there and they reassured me they had what I was looking for. When I did finally get there that was not the story, the girl (which wasn't in the best mood it seemed) hands me a generic 5/8 master lock hitch pin and a universal adapter which didn't even fit my rack. So all in all they made me waste 2 hours of my time by lying to me. Luckily the local trek store down the street had what I was looking for and friendlier too.

Called and asked about a tire because it was far away they said they had it and when I got there they didn't have it how inconsiderate I would not recommend them to anyone

The worst customer service I have ever received. I have been a long time customer having lived in Hollywood for 55 years. Bought all our bikes there and our locks over the years. Today, the owners sister was extremely rude to me when I called for lock service for my front door. She couldn t have been nastier if she tried. I will never go back or call again! You don t mistreat customers.

I've purchased bikes, gear, and had repairs done here. They are the nicest bunch of folks.

Me: do you have kid seats for bikes?

Guy on Phone: yes

Me: great what ones do you have?

Guy on Phone: I dont know man we have a few I'm sure we got something.

Seriously? I'll just buy it online and wait for it. I would think small businesses would want business.

A little overpriced.
Customer service is good, the amount of time it takes them to fix a bike is good and the shop has a good variety of stuff and is very well organized. I would go so much more and persuade my other bike friends to go here only if they lower the prices on some if their bike repairs, parts, and accessories

So I bought a used bike not too long ago, it was in riding condition, but could use a tune up.
For my birthday my mother took it to this place to replace the tires and anything else it needed, based on what these bike mechanics said.
She gave a deposit and the guy she spoke with said it would be done - at the latest the next afternoon, but initially he offered later that day.
(Last weekend in December).
They were replacing the tires, the gears, and the brake lines from what they told her after inspections.
The next day, she calls to see if it was ready to go, it was after 12pm had come, and gone.
The woman who answered the phone, tells her "it's on the board " with no idea what time it would be done.
My mother calls back an hour or so later to know a time to pick it up reiterating what was quoted a day prior, she was visiting from out of town, and she was leaving the next day, but didn't want to leave without knowing it was finished. They said it might take a week.
She's upset, but they call her back around 5 to tell her that it's done, they close around 7pm, and she can pick it up before they close for the day .
We pick it up, she pays the balance, and we leave.
About a week of bad weather later, and I decided to finally try it out at a local park. As I started riding the bike (which had sat in the same place in my car since I picked it up where the guy from the shop put it in my car) the gears keep shifting even though I'm not shifting the gears.
I hadn't even touched them, then the front wheel sounds like it was going to fall off. Luckily it didn't completely fall apart before I could get it back in the car.
I take it back to the shop, and tell them what happened when I went to ride it for the first time.
A woman examines the front tire, wiggles it and says "That's not good " before a bearded guy in the work area comes, and takes it.
He tells me the bearings are missing but there's evidence that they were there.
After I tell him what happened, with previously bringing the bike there, he changes his tune and says "it's been like that for awhile " (the bearings).
I asked if he could fix it, and he does.
I paid for the bearings.
I mentioned it to my mother who was just as baffled that it wasn't originally noticed when she initially brought it and was given a quote.
Especially if the bearings had "been like that for awhile (missing)", and it took this guy less than a couple minutes to notice that.. yet it sits in the shop getting all these things replaced and worked on, including tires for 24hrs and nobody noticed it before?
I'm really writing this review because today I took it out again, but the gears are still shifting even though I'm not touching them, which is what I addressed in the shop the second time it was brought back along with the tires being shaky.
I'm no longer interested in this place anymore, because things aren't getting fixed even after taking the bike in twice in less than 2 weeks.
I purchased it in riding condition and now it's not rideable.
Onto another shop.. hopefully it's fixable.

Well I thought it was a good shop went in before didn t think anything of it that they gave me the wrong size tire for my rim even though I told them the exact size . and this time I go in to get sime spokes fixed due to the fact they snapped and instead of just replacing the spokes he told me your crank was broken so I replaced it wasn t going to charge me full price I get charged double what he said And not even a week later my bearings started falling out which were fine before they change my crank just saying it was a horrible experience

Always EXCELLENT and FAST service, super friendly, and helpful! First time I came here was 19 years ago, and just went again today, got 2 new tires, tubes, and grips, and we were in and out in less than 15 minutes, ready to ride the broad walk!! Recommend them for everything bikes, fair prices and amazing selection of everything!!!!!

On vacation, I needed my bike repaired. They were very friendly, and did the repair quickly and inexpensively. Easy parking. And, I got a new keyfob battery put in while I was waiting, as there was a locksmith on site.

Awesome shop. My first visit there I purchased a tandem bike and wanted to ride immediately. Lee said it will take a few hours so just take my personal custom bike....what? The guy did not even know who I was and offered my wife and I the use of his personal tandem with a custom paint job. Needless to say I have been a repeat customer for years. They are also great locksmiths.

So I needed a last minute hair fix, didn't have time to order online can't go wrong with Lee's store. The hair I wanted was double what I would have paid on line but hey you're paying for convince of having it in hand now. But fortunately I've been coming here for years and the sales guy seen my "sticker shock" and gave me an awesome deal. My go to spot for all things hair in Tucson

Lazy = Accident!!

I hate to start this kind of review for any company, yet alone for a family owned /local and reasonably good bike shop. Unfortunately this needs to be posted because it could of HURT someone!!

Facts:
Purchased 2 identical bikes his/hers for my wife and I online.

My wife complained instantly that her bike wasnt easy to ride. I tried riding and completely agreed,
It was a lot Tougher to ride than mine.

I took her bike and mine to Lee's. I explained to them the issues. I asked them to ride the bikes so that they can see the difference in how they rode. They took the bikes for 3 days. When i got the bikes back, i asked them if they took it out, they said no but it will be better because they "tuned" EVERYTHING . They said if she wanted the bike to ride easier, to get slightly thinner tires...makes sense except my bike rode fine with the stock tires.

Sure enough, her bike rode excally the same. We decided to talk to the manufacturer about the issue with her bike. I told them, I took it to a reputable bike store in our area. They recommended for us to go to one of their authorized shops as the next step!

Problem found!! The front tire was never bolted down correctly. as we rode the bike the tire would slightly wiggle and move against the brake. The technician there stated that it was so loose he was surprised that tire did not come off!!

That was the first time we rode the bike after we got from lees. We don't ride much.
The bike shop then warrantied the work.

The sad part :

I went back to Lee's and explain the issue. I was upset that my wife could have been hurt because their technicians never took it for a test drive. Or even tighten down the front tires or even to check to see if they needed to tighten down.

I asked for my money back for the "tune up" and the manger said she would olny give some of the money back because it was my word vs hers word situation.

WHY IF MY WIFE GOT HURT? Why if a little kid got hurt because their techs were being lazy and didnt do what i paid them to do?!?!

I didn't take any money at all because apparently they will need it!!! Eventually somebody will get hurt because their techs don't do their jobs correctly..all the time as they should!! They will get sued to the point of closure. I know i would of, if my family was hurt due to incompetent workers!!

Lastly I own a business too! When it comes to safety of my customers and employees that comes first over everything!! I would never ever argue when I put someone's lives in danger over a hundred bucks or so. It's insane.

I went to this shop to get a tune up for my bicycle and I also bought a water bottle. They took good care of me and whenever I had a flat tire or other issue they fixed it quickly and gave the best service. When my water bottle leaked, they replaced it even though I did not keep my receipt. When I got a flat tire that I just changed they fixed it without charging me and when I had an issue with my rear brake they also took care of it professionally and replaced a part without charging me. They are professionals and they have their heart in the game. I appreciate the crew very much and highly recommend them!

I went to this place from the multi choices provided by google because of its reviews. They are on point. Awesome place, friendly staff, namely Joseph who so willingly assisted me. Thank you so much, any further help I may need w/ my Mt. bike, you guys are it.

These guys are great. If I ever had bike trouble, I no doubt come here when I can. They do a great job. People say they can be expensive, but I think you're getting your money's worth. They can work with you at times too. At least with me they did. The used bikes are always in great condition as well in my experience. Check this place out! You won't be disappointed.

If you have problem with your bike it doesn't matter what it is don't think twice take it to Lees Bicycle shop i promise you not gonna regret...i had problem with my bike putting the brake together i took it there they just look at the bike and figure out everything the job they did i can even explain. please remember......LEES BICYCLE SHOP that's it .

My grandmother bought me my first bike there more than 50 years ago. That is when Lee was the owner. I'm not sure how long Marco's family has owned the shop, but I'm pretty sure it is more than 25 years. Since that time I have bought at least 5 or 6 bikes there and been back for service or repair more than 100+ times. Employees have changed, but the service has always been top shelf, fair and reasonable. They stand behind their products and work.

They sale and fix everything for bicycles! Very friendly staff! They have all kind of bikes, parts for bikes, shoes and clothes. Great store!

Get my bike repairs, bought spin shoes, buy bike assesories, keys, locks, even bought bike there, prices are best I've seen & people helping are knowledanle about what they are selling

Sent my bike there for a cross country trip, while I flew there from CA. They assembled it and had it ready for me. Service was quick and reasonably priced. They are an easy 15min bus ride from the airport. GREAT PLACE! I highly recommend them.

Free parking & plenty of regular bikes & electric bikes. And lots of parts too. U name it they got it from fingerless gloves to baby seats.
