The personnel are very pleasant and the repair person did an excellent job in preparing my flat tire. The place is very clean and have many products for bikes.
Bought a nite ize mini LED spoke light the other day for less than ten dollars. It was a two pack.I installed the one on the front spoke just fine . When I tried to install the rear one it crumbled in my hand. As I was at a minimum for lights on my ride , I left the front one on .My friend and I ( we are avid riders in the area) went on my ride. Ten minutes later I noticed that the front button LED came off. Next day I returned the product, the other crumbled button with package and receipt, and was told I could not even exchange because I didn't have the other button! Talked to Kevin the manager and he said the same thing. Talked to Big Wheel and they said they would have taken care of problem right away. Talked to friends and they are boycotting on principle. Lee still never called me back. Don't know why they are sweating 10 dollar defective product. Is this business in trouble? They have always taken care of me in the past?
Outstanding tune up and repair shop w friendly service. Great selection of accessories, new and used bikes. A must go to business if you love to peddle
Once you bring your bike here, the guys make a big deal out of a small repair, so they can charge you more to replace some small stuff. I am an experienced biker and bring my bikes to many bike shops, but these guys have try their best to overcharge people who are not very experienced with bikes. In addition they charge a state sales tax to each repair job, while state tax laws are not applicable to repairs. Do not recommend them at all!
These guys are great! Dealt with some BS from another local bike shop and it forced me to look for a better place and I found Lees. These guys where knowledgeable and straight to point. Great customer service, reasonably priced and they open early. Will be servicing my bike here moving forward and will recommend them to anyone. Ask for Del!
I can't say enough about this place Good quality products and the guys that do the service or unbelievable Dell is my go-to guy my new best buddy.. He was honest and really helped me with all my needs.. Don't go anywhere else.. Thank you Del , Sandy
They did a really good and fast job on my bicycle. Unfortunately the lady at the register had a rude attitude for some reason, she also came up with the prices which I think were too high, and different from previous times.
I have been coming to Lee's for 8 years they have great Kevin the Spanish guygreat customer service they help you as much as they can they would not lie and you got the management great ladies upfront they do a good job
The prices were 100 dollar more for the same bike just west of here. The woman there just made me feel uncomfortable. She gave minimal information about their bikes. We just felt like we should just leave.
I bought 3 CANNONDALE bikes from here. Prices are fair. I recently purchased a 3rd CANNONDALE MOUNTAIN bike. After a few weeks the rims started pitting. Defect apparently. I brought the bike over, they took pictures and sent to CANNONDALE. LEE'S BIKES called me and asked to bring my bike in to replace rims at no charge. I brought it in and the rims were replaced under warranty with better/nicer rims. My Bike looks great, and thank you Lee's bikes and Cannondale for taking care of me and my wheels! I really appreciate your help. I'll be back for accessories!
Thanks to Lee s for such a welcoming, helpful and pleasant purchase. Highly recommend swinging in and checking out this shop. Very family oriented setting and no pressure sale.
So the story behind my review is simple. Had an invite to go bike, and I wanted to make sure the bike was tuned in and ready to shred so I called to ask... if a tune up would take long? if so, could I borrow the pump to put some air in my front shock. To which the mechanic Greg (or something like that). Said, "to tune up your bike it would take from like today (Thursday to possibly Tuesday)" that's 5 days!!!
So, I thought that if I take the bike and ask for the pump to fill my shock, they would be okay with it...
I go to the store and someone said, "give us a few minutes" I said, "no problem, take your time".
..30 min go by and then a lady who I think is the owner came and help the gentleman who was before me. She then asked, can I she could help me and I said, yes I would like to know if I can borrow the pump to fill my shock.. She asked Greg if he had one... He said, "idk if I need an adapter or not. Them the other mechanic even said it's the one you have!... He had the audacity to then ask, is it the one for the outside or inside?
I am all about helping others and local business, but do not go to this store if you need to service your bike and expect to pay top dollar!
Thank you,
P.s now I can tell all my friends and family not to go to Lee's bicycle shop.
My wife and I came in looking for a bike for just her and I found one I liked myself and they gave us such a great deal on 2 we couldn't pass it up! Great friendly staff and very knowledgeable, and a big inventory. Great bike store.
Brought my Raleigh Passage 4 in for a badly needed tune up, rear brakes and a stripped seat post. Exceeded my expectations. The bike rides, shifts, feels like a brand new bike again. Highly recommend.
As soon as I pulled up,(I brought my bike in my car because both tires were flat) the owner came outside to greet me, talk about customer service. He asked me what I needed, I told him both tires were flat and he asked me how long my bike had been sitting around, I told him about a year or 2 and he offered to just fill my tires up, but I know my inner tubes were bad because I was constantly filling them with air when I would use it. He kindly told me where to go in and wait. I didn't even have to tell anybody else my problem because he followed me inside and instructed an employee on what I needed. I was then greeted by a kind woman (I heard the owner call her care bear so that's what we'll call her) who took my bike to the back. There were a couple people ahead of me but because they had plenty of employees working, care bear assured me I was next. I couldn't have been in there longer than 15 minutes, the service was quick and efficient! I had both inner tubes replaced and was charged a total of $29.96. I own a beach cruiser. This shop is local and I would recommend it to anybody needing a bicycle repair.
The (presumably owner) lady was cold and unwelcoming in her greeting to me. I simply wanted to get info on reparing my rim on my Diamondback. "You gotta bring it in to have it looked at." Well, duh! The only salvation in that place was the bike tech who took a little more time to help diagnose my problem. Turned out to be crappie products that Big Wheel Bike Shop kept selling. He was fast and courteous. Depending on how my bike performs after this fix, I am willing to give a better recommendation.
Horrible customer service i asked for a simple tool nd they said i gotta buy it when i told them i have no money big wheels is 10 x better lees even cursed me out nd was completely rude when i got mad
Bicycle attendants working in the back on customers bicycles lack self control/professionalism when customer questions their ability. Each time in for flat tube repair was due to their ineptness and cheap product sold.
After the 3rd time for one of the tubes going flat, I noticed and looked for reason why the valve stem would not remain perpendicular to rim. Reason found was both front and rear tires were put on backwards. The tires are one way directional. Their being on backward forced the valve stem to move/shift almost horizontal to rim. This cut the tube at the tubes base.
Three times within a few months, they charged me for repair. I demanded free tube replacement after the last flat due to the bicycle mostly sitting in the carport w/o being ridden more than twice. One bicycle tire changer continued to blame me for the flat tube and stormed off to circle the back repair area due to having a self control issue. Another tire changer, who looked he just was released from prison, took over. His anger compelled him to just rip the tire off from it's rim with one shove from both hands gripping the tire. His unprovoked extreme anger and running of the mouth to me was unnecessary. I asked him to just do the job w/o the female type bickering. He also has self control issues to which I believe none working on peoples bicycles have. But, you get what you pay for.
Again at appx 2 to 3 months later I noticed one tire was again flat and the tires were not corrected to run in the forward directional rotation. The tires have an arrow clearly indicating forward rotation mounted tires, yet after complaint tires were still left on backwards. A waste of my time and cash to have an elderly parent's new bicycle tires and tubes mounted by Lee's Bicycle shop. A a big waste to pay for their recommended cheap tubes that needed replacement a few months later.
Because of the aforesaid issues I removed and put tires to correct tread rotation after purchasing and installing a good reliable American name brand tube from Wallyworld. Two years later = still no flats or even air leakage. If you can, I recommend somewhere else, or to just do it yourself to get the job done right the first time around.
Very good bike mechanic, realine back whell, installed a new tire, all that at a reasonable price, freindly peoples , very good place to get your bike repaired. I am recommending this place
