I always love coming to the library. They have a great selection and they no longer charge late fees! They have the option to send out a text when your books are due back.
Their summer reading program is so fun, they change it every year to a new theme and the kids are so excited to get started. The prizes are great and follow the theme for the year. Last year was building blocks, the kids got block erasers, note pads, etc. A few years ago it was art themed and the kids got a whole set of markers and velvet posters to color. The last prize is always a tshirt. It's fun to see kids of all ages wearing these around town.
The library has a cute program for younger preschool aged kids in the mornings, a story and a craft.

This is a phenomenal library. It has the downtown look the historical crowd loves, but also contains a great tech department downstairs that keeps it relevant for the new age crew. Community members can spend time 3d printing, taking a vast array of small classes, joining a book club or perusing the numerous rows of books!

For me, this is one of the greatest libraries I have been graced to set foot in. It is an architectural marvel of the world, a contender for man-made Wonders of the World. The design of so near perfect I have witnessed people break out in tears just glimpsing it in their rearview mirrors driving past.
The service is above and beyond what a human even deserves. Specifically the Pages of this great library. The articulate fashion of their book placing techniques, and the manner in which they walk is unimaginable; placing them as some of the most deserving minimum wage workers to ever live.
If you want to be happy, heck, if you want your descendants to be happy, get a book from this place.

This library is wonderful and the staff are so willing to take time and help and do with a cheerful smile. The lower level Tech Center is the great resource with everything from college prep classes (which my daughter is taking) to technology classes to quiet computer and study areas. Just down the hall is the Story Time room where little ones can have a Dr. Seuss, VeggieTales or other book read to them or work with their hands in the crafts room. I can't say enough good things about this delightful library!

WOW! ... what rude staff, called to ask if the library was still hosting events today due to the weather & the lady on the phone gave me such a smartaleck attitude! Definitely not a good representation of your establishment!

Girl sitting at the reading program table was very rude to my kids. She was typing on her computer and didn t want to be bothered. Made me uncomfortable. If you don t know how to treat kids please work somewhere else.

I loved it. What a wonderful place. So many small town libraries struggle to stay relevant and popular in today's digital age, but the Lebanon Library is a spectacular exception and has benefitted by having a visionary director and staff that has done a truly spectacular job.

In addition to the traditional "books" and things you normally think about that are associated with a library, the Lebanon Library also has a Technology Center and quiet space for students and adults that is literally bleeding edge for even many educational institutions.

It also has special dedicated space called Story Time for younger patrons, is fully handicapped accessible, including free parking for library patrons, and a wonderful outside pavilion area that is just sublime especially in the summer months.

There is a good reason that this Library was featured in the November 2015 Library Journal, and worth discovering yourself if you live in or visit downtown Lebanon. We always make it a point to visit and enjoy the library's many features when we are in town. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

A Carnegie library that has grown into a multipurpose center for the small Lebanon City. Kudos for the city to figure new avenues for this small facility to have options for the public to use. Now if only they could update the website, it would a step in the future direction.

Open 7 days a week and what a building! Built in 1909 and of course additions. High ceilings with a solid and airy feel. Wonderful place to read newspapers, magazines and of course books. There are outside areas to read. The location is terrific and plenty of parking. Friendly staff! Enjoy!

Gun free zones creates everyone there to be put into an unsafe environment. A majority of all shootings happen in these unsafe zones falsely named safe zones. 2nd amendment rights are here to protect us all. I gave two stars due to how nice the people are that worked here. They would of only received one star due to the unsafe environment they force children to be put into.
