Learning matters is company with a team of great people aiming to revolutionize learning. They are passionate and genuine in their attempt to make quality education affordable for all. As an intern at learning matters, I had the opportunity to work in their StarTeacher teacher training programme, which aims at improving teachers' teaching and communication skills. I went to a village in Tamil Nadu, where I got to interact with the teachers and the students. This has proved to be one of the greatest experiences of my life, and I am very grateful to Learning Matters for giving me this opportunity. I wish the company great success in all their future endeavours.

Learnt about the importance of providing time n space for the students n staff to get in touch with their emotional state and take responsibility for it. Secondly, the need to opt for Giraffe style feedback over Jackal style talk. Resource person was able to tailor the content to the audience.

Learning matters effectively organises and implements virtual classroom so that one can easily understand and use properly to enhance learning on par with Bloom Taxonomy -21st century skills

I loved the Learning Matters soft skill program. After completing some part of this program i have realized that how this program is essential for any student. It helps me a lot.

The soft skills course conducted by Learning matters private limited is very much useful. Learning matters team is very much cooperative in each and every aspect of the course. Learning matters people encourages and motivates the students in every part of the course in completing it. Now a days students had technical knowledge of their domain, but lacking in soft skills. Soft skills are like fundamental knowledge which must be learnt in order to excel in the respective field. Every sessions of the soft skills course were very much informative. The sessions were very much advanced and are up to date which is very much needed in the present world. My first association with Learning Matters was in the capacity of a content writing intern couple of years back. The topic was really an awesome.

Worked with the company as a consultant for an year and it had been a great experience. I was involved with content development and curriculum design. The team was very supportive and always encouraged new ideas. The learning achieved at Learning Matters was useful for my growth as an educator and helped me transition from a classroom teacher to a subject matter expert.

The name "Learning Matters" brings back fond memories of having associated with the concern for, though "a brief period of six months" yet having profound exposure to so many learning concepts. I was involved in translation, developing content and also helping with question selection for various syllabi. It encouraged my 'out of box' thinking, especially the working style which was so people-oriented that I felt as though I was doing one of my favourite hobbies!!
My supervisors were those who permitted freedom of thought, encouraged me to work in my own style, correcting me only when necessary and provided such constructive feedback on activities that I loved the work space they provided (it was all online assignments, done from the comfort of my home, at my convenient timings).
There was such a cordial relationship amongst colleagues that you could approach anyone in the concern with situations you encounter. On the whole, I would tell my experience as a gainful one, in terms of knowledge I gained and the environment in which I worked.
I still use that rich experience I gained then in my present job of online teaching.

I like the google jamboard which will help my student to come together on a same platform and think about a topic and work collaboratively.
I really like the way the traniner calmly explain everything step wise and all the questions asked in the chat box were answered, the switching from app to another with assessment question in between really kept us motivated and to concentrate through out the session.

Have been associated with Learning Matter and their product for more than few years now. TARA is simply an awesome product especially for engaging young vernacular based children to learn spoken English in an interactive way.Both our teachers and students love this product alike. I had the pleasure of working with Learning Matters, Bangalore for about 18 months. I am very grateful to LM for giving me the opportunity to work on varied projects; from writing video clip summaries to reviewing ASSET question banks and quiz questions to preparing English question banks, to recording audio lessons to writing video scripts and lots more.

I also fondly recall my association with Mrs Saras Ramamoorthy, co-founder and CPO of Learning Matters, with whom I had co-authored several articles on early childhood development and video scripts for professional development. It was an enriching experience and her guidance and insights had been very valuable.

In May of 2020 a pilot program was launched by Learning Matters to enlighten us with how to go about with on-line teachings. I have attended following webinars:-
1. Managing tech savvy students in virtual classrooms.
2. Topic: Google Drive for Education - Foundation Course
3. Creating Communication Channels in Virtual Classrooms.

Google Apps for Education: Mastering Google in the Classroom. It s been well received by myself.
I realized the benefits of increased collaboration and communication and made the switch. I have started using all google apps in both academics i.e. classroom teaching and administrative work. There are so many activities that I have learnt and done in the past one year.

Collaborative lesson planning: Work on the same lesson plan at the same time with colleagues using google docs and google slides.

Take notes during meeting with the staff members in google docs and share with rest of the staff members.

Shared Lesson Plan Repository: Store lesson plan in school s shared doc so that anyone in my school can find and access them.

Google docs helped us in my worksheets linking with required site using research tool, which is highly helpful. It helps us share our worksheet with parents and students.
Google Forms: I have used google forms to conduct formative and summative assessment with my students. Also, I have used google form to conduct surveys among students to know their interests in the beginning of year.

Gmail : I have used gmail to communicate with parents, students and colleagues.

Google Site : I created a site for my e portfolio and embed class calendar videos and presentation. I also used it to make student e-portfolios and passes students work from one academic to the next. Utilized the idea of newsletter into the curriculum

Google Classroom: I really liked concept of google classroom. It s a virtual classroom wherein I created assignments and classroom is a new tool in Google Apps for Education that has helped me to create and organize assignments quickly, provide feedback efficiently, and easily communicate with my class. I used it with the students of class 5th in the last academic session.
Learning Matters helped us implement meaningful and exciting Pedagogical changes. We learned strategies that are easily graspable, readily implementable and full of fun. They highlighted about the effective communication in the remote learning environment and further effective implementation of school activities in the remote setting, Welcome letter, meet the class teacher, weekly newsletters.

It is very good experience for me to use chrome books in my teaching process. It has made teaching very easy as I can share all my worksheets and assignments with my entire class very easily. I am very much motivated to create teaching aids using chrome books and Google Apps as all Google apps are already installed in it. Now the time taken to make assignments and other teaching learning material has reduced. It has increased the active learning among students and also holding students attention.

I was very much motivated to use technology with my students in classroom. Interest level of my students increased in the classroom and also it became very easy to gain their attention.

I was got so much motivated and inspired by the usefulness of Google apps that I conducted session for my school teachers in Bangalore and Mysore for a group of 30 teachers. I am also motivating teachers of my school and keep conducting sessions for them so that they can also use these apps in their day to day work.

It was very good.we learnt lot of things about Google apps from you.We will try it and use it in teaching.Thank you very much for your teaching with patience.

I would like to share my wonderful experience with LEARNING MATTERS. An online session on GOOGLE CLASSROOM FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION was conducted for our staff members. This session gave us an insight about Google tools and how to integrate the same in Google Classroom. In this pandemic and even in future, this learning will help us improvise and make effective GOOGLE CLASSROOM presentations for our students, make teaching and learning effective and help us identify the learning gaps.
The best part about the session and the entire learning experience was that the trainers( Ms Lopamudra and Mr Wilson) never made us experience boredom which generally happens in online session, the teachers were continuously interacting and having discussion with the trainers. This is the result of meticulous planning and implementation of the module by LEARNING MATTERS. Also, last but not the least to mention, trainers made the session fun, every teacher felt that their doubts and queries were addressed and all of them got equal attention and opportunity to participate.
