Lear and Pannepacker has been great to me over the years. They not only do an excellent job in terms of tax preparation but also in terms of advice and planning. Importantly they are also extremely responsive. I have never had a problem contacting them or receiving a return call or email. Their staff is courteous and professional.

I did not hear from this practice until the day my taxes were due. When I question why they had not hear from them, I was told they were communicating with my Ex Spouse and thought that they had the right to speak for me. When would you ever think it was ok for an EX Spouse to speak for someone? Completely unprofessionally. I will Never use this practice again, and would not refer my worst enemy to use them.

As a self employed consultant my tax affairs are already complicated. Added to that, my income and a variety of pensions come from both the USA and UK and I have substantial investments, 401k's etc. This last tax year my wife, also a self employed consultant, passed away. Steve Sciortino handled the whole Federal and State tax return process smoothly and efficiently as he has handled the last nine years of submissions.
