Le Relais Odéon Review

A server is very unpleasant. He does not know the restaurant. I was looking for "the back room outside" and he told me that it did not exist! Result: I lost fifteen minutes on my appointment when, finally, the service manager informed me. All that to say that the Odeon relay is good, very well decorated, not especially cheap but could be better if they chose their servers better!

This is my place of refuge to meet friends and girlfriends .. since years!

Upscale price range, delicious food, central location. The staff stays friendly and jokes, even if the restaurant is filled to the last seat.

Food was good. Service started out great but took forever to get the bill.

Very very nice. I have been there few days ago and I say that I enjoyed having dinner there. It is in a very beautiful local street of Paris full of little restaurants. I ate in a table on the street and I really enjoyed the Parisian atmosphere. Me and my family ordered different things and everything was good, from the burgers to the salads. We appreciated the desserts too. The waiters were all friendly and kind. Very different choices on the menu. This is the perfect place to have a relaxing and tipical dinner in Paris, discovering and enjoying also this side of the city.

Excellent Thai salad

The waitress was extraordinarily friendly and fast, as was the kitchen. Ordering for a group of 4 with mixed schedules was no problem at all; a mixed order of dessert, starters and mains was taken without flinching, and everything was served quickly. The food itself was no less than delicious, and the atmosphere was cosy and relaxed, which more places in this street seem to have in common. Recommended!

Nice, big cafe where locals like to go to. Situated on a quiet street in a busy place. The staff is friendly. Nice place to grab an expresso (2.4 euros).

The location is great, the waiters friendly, personally I would prefer the old decoration that spawned a typical Parisian cafe, the new decor is modern and sober. Every trip to the capital we stop in this place for a drink.

really disappointed with how to treat people. Do not give them polite lessons and ask them to say hello, as we know very well how to say hello and how to ask the menu in a disciplined way, it is the server that orders and provides the service to customers who must say hello and respect them very well, that's the quality.
Quality Choosing the right people at home and giving them the discipline of respecting people.
It's not nice that we come to your place and leave the place without asking anything and make the decision never to come back to you because of the poor treatment of your service providers.

Surprised to read some of the previous reviews. We found the staff to be friendly and warm, while all of our entrees were impeccable. Everything was priced appropriately. All of us thought it was a great place.

The food is great. Recommend the burrata and veal steak with blue cheese sauce.

I liked it a lot, pleasant service, pleasant terrace, I asked for a small glass of beer, but I was served a large one because the price is the same as a small one.

Good address to remember. Welcome, simple map but there is something for everyone. The dishes are good. The desserts are top. The price is reasonable for a dessert meal for 3 people in Paris.

Very good address! I went several times, professional and warm service, excellent cocktails, and a classic but interesting menu: one of my personal favorites: the tuna tataki, it's just a delight. I highly recommend.

Restaurant comes in a good location, nice menu where everyone finds their account. The quality of the food is very good. The service is not too bad, in general. The price of beers is high, due to the neighborhood, but the happy hour is interesting.

We had a really good meal !! The Bearnaise sauce was delicious! Simple but successful dishes and quality products! A great surprise !

Great place for late evening drinks and people watching inside and outside. Some report attitudes from staff, I've never seen it. They seemed to enjoy but also appreciate my horrible attempts at French. No comment on the food as I've never eaten here.

Interior is modern and the music is jazzy mellow. The locals seem to like this place even though it's smack dab in the middle of the touristy area of St.Germain. crowd is of very mixed ages and levels of Paris chic and just a little in the pricey side... Given its location.

Great for drinks and snacks - less good for brunch. Large space with nice outdoor seating in warmer weather. Service can be a bit slow by American standards - normal for a traditional French establishment! Recommend getting some dessert from here.

Excellent food, whether varied / healthy delicious salads or salmon with vegetables. Friendly and helpful staff who speak English also. Not to mention the lovely option of sitting on the terrace in the small side street in the back. A bit pricey but reasonable for the neighborhood !

A practical and well located place for a drink or lunch before or after an appointment in the area.

The waiter was very attentive, warm and polite. The farmhouse chicken was tasty with a rich sauce. The veal was succulent and perfectly cooked.

Joined a group of friends who had settled on the terrace of this cafe / brewery.
I was very surprised to find that by entering the restaurant and crossing the corridor to go to the courtyard where my friends were present, strictly no waiter said hello to me while they saw me all in turn but obviously too much in the "rush" ... Anyway.
I moved to the table where my friends had finished dinner. I was about to order something to nibble and drink when a waiter came to our table (6) and said "good evening" from the other end of the table.
I will return him good evening.
But that's when he said goodnight again looking at me insistently ... I let him know that I have already answered .. and I turn "no but you looked astonished that I say good night" with a provocative and naughty way ...
NEVER SEEN, even in the PMU of the corner the server does not have this behavior ..
But I tell myself that he was probably tackled by his girlfriend tonight .. What would be normal seen his mouth.
So, I gave up eating at home, even a glass of water from their tap.
I will not come back !

Beautiful setting, dining room set back for more tranquility. In the plate it's good without being extraordinary. At the service level, can do (much) better: between a dish served at the same time as appetizers (the waiter was surprised himself at the speed), the dishes deposited in a really expeditious and abrupt way, the addition requested and expected very long to end with the limit ticket thrown on our table followed by a pack of empty cigarettes deposited while we were preparing our payment, big no matter what.

Absolutely loved this place. I had the Salmon and it was delicious. The side vegetables and sauce made it all even better. Great location with seating all around. A very friendly staff and a clean interior.

Service very bad. We came across an aggressive server and disrespectful of its customers. Shocking attitude towards several customers.

We had a large party of nearly 60 guests in the back of this restaurant. We were all treated exceptionally well by the staff and enjoyed a delicious meal. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for both large reservations and a quiet meal with friends and family.

Delicious, but priced more than quantity and quality. It is a cozy and cozy atmosphere, but it is a bistro-like restaurant. Delicious grilled salmon and chicken legs. General dishes are more delicious than the nearby Prokop.

If you are looking for a great mix between delicious food , good wine & nice chill sit , well this restaurant is the right place to be !!

Very nice waitress and charming barman a dinner after an exhibition with a friend who left with a smile on the lips with a passion mango smoothie in a glass mug ... staff too nice and very correct meal ... We will return !

A restaurant I like to go to when I'm in the neighborhood. The cocktails are good and generous. The waiters are lovely and always have a kind word for customers. Card that can satisfy everyone. The taste is there too (good sauces) and the price is suitable. Address to recommend.

Make sure to go to the roof and cafe to take a break. Amazing art here and also an amazing view of the city

Good address with some culinary proposals and classic drinks. Not really welcome, we went back and sat down, no one was there to welcome us and guide us. The waiters looked rushed and just there to cash. The drink was good: hit chocolate cookie.

I had a breakfast, the Odeon formula is great value for money. I just did not like the eggs.

Ok. It is Parisian. By the standards of Parisian service, these fellows are well above average. We had the charcuterie plate (excellent!), the antipasto plate (interesting and certainly worthy of soaking up the fabulous drinks), and the steak tartare. The portion was huge, the flavor great, the French fries very good. It was accented nicely by the dijon mustard on the table! The cocktails were amazing! Our waiter was lovely, singing and dancing his way between 20 tables. You can fault Parisian service, but you can't fault this guy!! We adore this place and look forward to returning!! It is a 4/5 because 4.5 isn't an option!!

Super warm establishment (especially on the quiet side far from the noise of the boulevard Saint-Germain). The welcome and the food are very good, special mention for the tartare and the avocado salad.
