It was totally terrible hotel in my life. When I stayed in there it was cold, but furnace did not work at that time. They changed to smaller room than before, there also was not heated. We needed to endure cold night in there. Also, they charged internet fee in secret (I did not recognize it. I am a SPG member) I called them, but they were very rude to me. It was terrible hotel in my life. Do not waste your time in there.

The new DAmicos does not fit the hotels style. As a local to Minneapolis the Chambers was often my treat for a wonderful evening of dining and drinks. Upon making a reservation last min for a visiting friend from out of town I was excited to show her one of my favorite places in Minneapolis. After being seated and handed menus a shock came over me. "What happened to the menu"! The server explained thats a common question as it seems many are not pleased with the change. After looking over the menu we found nothing that looked like it was anything different from Bucas or a number of other mid range Italian restaurants in the city. We ordered a drink to at least leave a tip for the server and then departed. I will not return to the Chambers and feel a bit bad about that. 112 Eatery has taken the top spot in my book.

Valet and check-in was a very smooth process. Our room was clean, cool, and comfortable. Hung out at the fire pits after our concert and our server was extremely nice and accommodating even though we were clearly extending his night. Overall nothing negative to stay.

Very modern style, elegant, big rooms. Bathroom really spacious with tv and huge shower. Complementary quality coffee. Very clean.

No free WiFi. However it was perfectly stated during the booking process, so mine is more a suggestion that a complaint.
The rooms on the back street have no view at all.

Can t say enough good things about this place. Husband and I spent a night here right after our wedding, and the entire experience was wonderful. Location is prime within walking distance to lots of awesome restaurants. Room was clean, comfy, and very stylish. It was large with a whole seating area, huge shower, and I loved the decor! Great staff and service. 10/10 would recommend. We will be staying here again!

This hotel goes beyond to make their guest feel well taken care of and special. When my daughter checked in, Sarai, at the front desk gave her a courtesy upgrade to a beautiful room. She did not want to come home. Thank you so much!

I really enjoy staying here and have done so a couple times. Make sure you use the white noise machines in the room, it gets noisy in the evenings with sirens and road noise. Rooms are beautiful!

Great hotel, but it s marketed that it has free WiFi which it does not. It s provided in the business center but not in the rooms. Thought most hotels would have free WiFi by now but I guess not.

Nothings sadder than an aged hipster and that describes this hotel. The charm comes from being small but with great amenities. When you allow the amenities to fade, you only have small and tacky left.

Terrible place to stay. But let's start with the good points. Best feature is the shower. It's a large diameter rain showerhead. Tons of hot water, blue-tiled walls, glass door. I like the coffee maker: an Illy pod espresso machine. It worked pretty well.

The very first night of our stay, the toilet would not fill. I removed the top and jiggled the handle but, despite my best efforts, I could not get it to start filling. I called downstairs, they told me all the rooms were full and they could not move us until the next day, and then at that moment the toilet stopped. They did not move us from the room. Service, as I've said, is not a priority.

Now for the negatives: Nothing ages faster than tech. What was a cool clock radio with an iphone charger is now a clock radio (unless you are still using an iphone 4 or earlier). The flat screen tv is large but mounted wrong because the room is too small. You can't watch it straight on, you have to watch it at a 45 degree angle (at best). But what's worse is that they do not have digital feed. They have channels 0-99 in low res. It looks like crap. Plus, without a built-in tv guide, you often can't tell what is being broadcast because long tv commercials mean it could take a day to figure out what's actually on. When I called service to complain about the tv, they offered to send in a maintenance guy. I said it wouldn't do any good unless he can swap out the signal. Service was clueless, unhelpful and even rude. The staff is very nice as long as you praise them but if you've got issues with the room, look out. They're rude. The bathroom also has a tv: it looks like a 12" LG made more than a decade ago. It's wall mounted, the image is dull, pixelated and unwatchable.

The room is tiny and sound travels easily through the door so people talking as they walk buy sound like they are in your room. The windows are double-paned but they can't block the noise when street parties are going on. On the weekend, it was very noisy until very late both nights. It gets tolerably quieter on the weekdays.

The towels are a mixed bag. About 80% are in need of replacement. Two of the towels, in our 4 day stay, where fluffy and soft. The others were flat and rough. All the cotton had been left in the lint filter, leaving just the poly in the poly/cotton blend. The cotton robes they offer are likewise shriveled and hideous to look at. They look clean but their thin shriveled profile looks like a museum piece.

The hotel is in a good spot downtown within walking distance of plenty hot spots in the area and close proximity to all public transportation. The rooms are nice however the beds and pillows are too soft feel like I need some more firmness but that is a personal preference. I do love the walk in rainfall shower. Staff has been extremely friendly as well.

Just stayed here for a weekend of corporate events and my husband and I really liked it! It's modern and stylish and very very comfortable! The rooms are very spacious as are the bathrooms/showers and the TV is very large. The bed is very comfortable, the heated bathroom floor is pure luxury and the staff was all very helpful. We were able to walk to dinner/brunch at Hell's Kitchen right down the street which was fabulous and walk across the street to see Rock of Ages at the Orpheum Theatre. We also walked to dinner at Butcher and the Boar a few blocks down the street which was also awesome! It's really cool that your room key also acts as a free pass to the Walker modern art museum. Too bad it wasn't closer to the hotel or we would've gone! We hung out in the hotel restaurant bar which was nice as well. The only complaints are that 1) the WiFi is not free. It costs $15 per day. LAME. 2) There was a huge party two doors down from us until very late/early and it was super loud (screaming and music and singing etc). I called the front desk and they must've done something because it got quieter after I called. All in all we really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would stay again!

Definwtly would come back. The bathroom was beautiful and amazing. The rooms design could have been improved though since I hurt myself in the room and the TV was eurgonomical in it's placement. Complementary water was always a plus. Overall loved it.

Definitely will stay here again. The outdoor patio is great. I liked the attention to detail when it came to art; like, the curated elevator music, video installation in the hallway. Red lights at night are kind of tacky and juvenile though.

I had a nice stay here in June 2013. I found the place by sorting Google Hotel Finder's Minneapolis results by number of stars. This hotel came up either first or second on the list, which made me think "OK, this is the best place in Minneapolis." I didn't think the hotel was so amazing as to be the best of a mid-sized city with so many corporate headquarters in it, but I thought it was a very solid experience overall. My room was clean and bright and airy and pleasant. The bed was comfortable. The view of the city was interesting. The best part of the stay was breakfast at the new restaurant Marin.
