Hotspot location close to Santa Monica Beach. Top-level service and big rooms. Nice pool-area that is perfect both for relaxation, and if you are traveling with kids. Valet parking was also included in the room price. We will definitely stay here again!

Great experience. Friendly, courteous & responsive staff. The hotel is nestled in a convenient location near the 3rd Street Promenade and the beach. The outside of the hotel is getting renovated which can make entering & exiting a little challenging.

The seaside, the downtown area, and the end of Rou...

The seaside, the downtown area, and the end of Route 66 are also around 10 minutes on foot, just in a convenient location for a walk. However, I think that the surroundings are relatively quiet and can be used for sightseeing and business.

Parking lot is troublesome because we deposit every time in valley, but responded quickly for free.

It was the cheapest room, but the room is large and comfortable.
With a bathtub is only a twin bed room.
The shower is fixed, so it's a bit inconvenient for me, but the water was good.

Two plastic bottles 500 mm free of charge. Every day.
As the refrigerator is empty, it can be put in various ways and it cools well.

There is no bathrobe and slippers,
I could email a comment to the hotel, so I wrote it, I thought it was a read, and even though I didn't make a request, I was kind enough to leave it the next day.

Not only the front desk, but also the room cleaning people are gritty and friendly and helpful.

Fitness gym and pool are free.
The gym is available 24 hours a day.
It was all right and comfortable.

The restaurant is located in the lobby on the first floor, it has a feeling like an open cafe with the lobby, and there aren't many menus, but there are many restaurants in the surrounding area and I think this is just right for this hotel.

I will come to Santa Monica well, so I would like to come here again.

Clean, nicely decorated, helpful staff. Wasn't a huge fan of the required fees for things I knew I wouldn't be using during the trip (bikes, wifi, etc). Cost a lot in fees and valet tips. The hotel wasn't that much nicer than any other hotel you can get without all those additional fees tacked on.

Bikes! Probably my favorite hotel amenity.
Champagne at check-in.
Didn't care for a wine. Tried a new bottle. Nope. Let me taste another. Yep. And she didn't bat an eye.
Posh toiletries and lovely rooms.
Very pleased with my stay.

Great experience. We were in town for a wedding and only stayed one night. Staff very friendly and helpful. Valet parking service excellent. They had to make a special effort to park our RV and we really appreciated it. The room was clean and very quiet, perfect temperature and a very very comfortable bed! Two bottles of water FREE which you rarely see these days. We hope to come back on our next visit to Santa Monica.

I do not like this hotel. I am a SPG platinum member with over 100 nights a year, and I was put not even on a SPG floor. The hotel is not located in downtown area, but the room is so small that you feel like you are in the center of New York. The wall is literally paper thin, I can hear everything that my next door is talking about, even the cough. There is no platinum lounge. The breakfast for platinum member is a joke. It's not the one in the restaurant. It's feel like a little shack outside the hotle. For the price they are charging, this place is really ridiculous. The in room dining is way over priced. Food was very salty, the taco I ordered was the driest taco I have ever had. The only reason I gave this place a 2 star is the service is fast. This is one of the worst hotels I have stayed with the SPG chain. I will not come back to this place.

Excellent hotel in the Santa Monica area.

Excellent hotel in the Santa Monica area.

From start to finish our stay was AMAZING.

The check-in process was simple & made pleasurable by the expansive lobby & complimentary upon arrival champagne.

Our room was very well appointed, with luxurious furnishings & excellent touches throughout. The oversized bathroom was a pleasure to use. The hot tub on the balcony was a exciting touch.

The hotel is located within walking distance of the pier, beach & excellent 3rd Street promenade. If you don't fancy walking; the hotel offers a free of charge electronic buggy to destinations within a 2 mile radius.

The Delfina is located by some excellent eateries; M-street kitchen, El Texate & Dogtown cafe to name a few.

The swimming pool area is a great place to catch some rays, if your not a fan of the sun jump into one of the cabanas.

The gym at the hotel is good, all of the machines are well maintained.

Our stay was further endorsed by the excellent Josh, he made a great stay into an excellent one. His local knowledge is great & his friendly demeanor is contagious. If you get a moment, ask him where you can purchase California Almonds from

I highly recommend this hotel.

Rooms were well maintained and nicely furnished. Staff were really helpful and friendly (even giving us glasses of champagne upon arrival)! Location is fantastic as the beach is a short walk down the road and the main centre of Santa Monica isn't that far off either.

nice hotel but extremely rude employee RENA would not stop staring at my family and i and giving us dirty looks for having outside food when they provide ONE vegetarian option and we are already paying enough for the hotel! i should be able to eat my pizza without getting told to move (when there is no one waiting) and then starred at for the entire rest of the night. extremely disrespectful, im paying you to be here, the least you can do is is keep your stares/ comments to yourself.

Stayed for just one night on a quick business trip. Overall great service from the staff and complimentary valet was a huge perk given other hotels in the area charge$40-50 a night for parking. Room and bed were comfortable and clean. Very close to the beach, have to walk a couple blocks but not a big deal. I could see a tiny bit of ocean from our window.

FANTASTIC service. I ended up unknowingly driving off with my trunk open and losing a few bags with VERY expensive items in them -- one of the valet workers got in the hotel's house car & chased us down to inform us that our bags had fallen behind and to come back to retrieve them. This was very impressive treatment that I usually do not receive at hotels. This hotel was clean and had very friendly/helpful workers. They also hooked my family up with free transportation to Venice and Santa Monica beach as well as allowing us to rent bikes for free! Highly recommend. :)

We checked out early after finding our room to be infested with what I can only assume we re bedbugs. We were given a refund on the remaining days of our intended stay but I asked for assistance with the cleaning bill for our luggage and clothing due to the fact that the infestation this hotel has crept into our personal effects. I ll post an update once I hear back from Marriott corporate. The staff was unbelievably rude to the point that I had to walk outside and calm myself twice. The manager was no better. This hotel is definitely in my top five worst experiences ever. I also overheard the desk staff talking about a guest whom they felt their religious beliefs determined the tip they left and that s as far as I m comfortable relaying. I seriously do not even want to repeat what this guy said. Anyway I would stay in a teepee fashioned out of dumpster material before staying here, or any Marriott affiliate for that matter, again

Great place to stay very helpful staff which makes the stay all that much better. Just 6 mins away to the Metro, beach and Pier about 15 mins. Rooms are spacious comfy beds air-conditioning in the rooms. I was out adventuring so only really slept at the hotel.

This is not walking distance to pier. For the cost I was expecting a lot nicer. photos are misleading, very tight. Room was stuffy and hard to breathe. They also charge you a daily fee which was not in our Orbitz deal package of 35.00 per day and if you want breakfast that you would get free anywhere else expect to pay 20 just for muffins and yogurt and 50 for eggs and pancakes. So we got charged premium with sub par accommodations like motel tubs. Spend your money on higher end than here: Staff was nice. Gym was small but had the Pelenton bike.

Didn't stay (apparently the rooms are a bit dated n need a refurb) but I used the pool and ate there and I found it excellent. The staff (apart for 1 or 2 less knowledgeable junior ones) were excellent, v professional, courteous and friendly.

Decent hotel in good location close to the beach. The rooms are out nice but the bathrooms are really small. The daily rates are expensive I thought for what the rooms were like. The pool is small but nice hang out area around it.

Great location, fantastic staff! Free bike rental is a real asset, as is their local car service. Close to the beach, interstate and the 3rd St. Promenade. I'd come back here next time I am visiting SM.
