Used to Indian restaurants, I am disappointed.
The flavors are coarse. Meat is an eyesore. I ordered lamb but it looked like reconstituted meat, dry and stringy, tasteless. The sauce was far too sweet and far too fatty. The samosas were bland and dry and the rest of the entrees were greasy and extremely bland. Yet I'm not the picky or complainer type. But the, really, I recommend this restaurant.

When our order comes, we realize that it is not good at all the rice tasted the day before the curry was inedible with spoiled and hard meat floating in a cold liquid ... never seen before! We warned them, but the manager still paid us and chased us and yelled like thieves in front of the few other customers ...

The gentleman is very kind and welcoming and we were very well served ... but, it was really not so good. Even a simple chicken curry did not taste like curry spices. When at the Tikka Masola, it was a rather disgusting sauce with mango taste. So it's true that there are 10 versions of tikka masola, but this was not really the best version. And the rice, not bad but I had the horrible impression that it was Uncle Bens, round, unbeatable and in no perfume ...
I put 5 stars because it is the best Indian restaurant, for us of course, the welcome is very good, the staff is warm, the dishes are hearty and tasty. The manager of the establishment is at the top. I have nothing to say about this restaurant. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Toulouse.

Fast service, well-stocked menu and menu available. All for not very expensive and the escape in a distant country is certain!

The content is even more disappointing than the quantity. 2 pieces of bland chickens are steeped in the sauce (which, let's be honest, was pretty good though HYPER greasy).

How is it possible for an Indian restaurant to not know how to make a halfway-decent curry sauce?!! It was 1/3 oil and looked (and tasted) like coagulated brown sludge. Not to mention that we ordered two different dishes but they both came with the same exact mucky-sauce. We re not too picky, but honestly it was bad.
I ordered via uber eats a chicken tikka massala from this restaurant which was just filthy! Unable to finish the dish, there were 4 pieces of chickens in total there and I'm not talking about the sauce that had a very particular taste. I do not recommend at all.

From the site of Uber Eats, my companion and myself had decided to embark on an adventure out of the ordinary: eating Gandhi in Toulouse.
Upon receipt of the dishes, we quickly realized that we would be transcended from beginning to end by our menu seducer. Besides, we can not be more original, I named the "duo menu".
Along with Vasco Deux Gambas, we discovered a crustacean salad tenderly decomposed under a greenery irritated by the industrial bags that covered it. The coldness and dampness of a newborn's corpse are equal only to the taste of this entrance.
The belly turned, we decided to put our lips on the grains of rice Sissa, inventor of chess (just like this restaurant), always preserved for Toulouse over the centuries. Dry rice like the desert of the Tsar and the tandoori chicken forgotten at the top of a dune, our tears fell to come gently season the dish. Nothing helped, the garbage took over.
Finally, a little appetizer with the Taj Mahal where everything goes wrong because he was bought by Kronenbourg who sells his foundations at 5 50 piece, not to mention the iced iced tea savored by straw cockroaches and employees ( not delivered and I had to go and get them in the humble shop ... Mirage or sabotage? Nothing is wiser than a slum eaten away by time and regulars stewed for the next dishes).

For 4 menus at 75 euros in total, we received a diabetes menu with a massala sauce, consisting of sugar and water, ridiculously small portions, deserts (mango coulis) the size of an espresso.
The dishes are definitely not homemade. I only enjoyed the nan loaves to the laughing cow.

Chicken obviously discount and 3 pieces that fight in the fat.
Nans dry but a beginning of taste appears when we eat it after the rest.

It is our favorite Indian restaurant in Toulouse. We have never been disappointed. We just ordered to deliver. Half an hour later, we had our hot meal to taste and we confirm our verdict without really understanding the negative opinions ...

The food is good but the midday service is unpleasant because the waiter is in a hurry to get rid of you when we have not even finished eating, my husband had the plate removed during the meal I was dead laughing seeing the head of my husband good! In reality it was not funny at all So for the rest we hurried to eat so as not to get stung. Especially since there were no people at all we were 2 couples the restaurant was practically empty we did not understand the reaction of the server but in any case just for that we will not go back.

It is an excellent Indian restaurant (for me the best of Toulouse). Very well placed, the setting is very nice and the servers nice and pleasant. The dishes are prepared on the spot so the service can take a little time but it's worth it. I recommend to those who want a good Indian restaurant (on site or to take away)

We arrived in the middle of the evening, there were a few people. The manager made us wait in the middle while he looked after the room. We were already beginning to see that we were annoyed because we were in his paws, and yet we were only three. It must be said that the passages are narrow, as the place where we must order / pay. We ended up writing our order on a paper at the request of the manager, barely polite. We realize that this same manager is more a business leader than a restaurant owner. Unbeatable. the taste quality is just correct. the meat or fish portions of the main course are small in this menu. but it's ok in the end with the rice and the sauce. Nothing but the smell you could feel it was spoiled, horrible I tasted the tip of my finger to be sure and yes spoiled fortunately that I did not eat it! Although it is an old Indian restaurant in the Pink City, the praise will not be there for me and that of my friend.
The dishes are certainly good, like its namesake next door the "GOA", very good and similar too.
But the downside is that we were swindled only the merchandise. We asked for a starter for two, so in double portions, logically, in fact we had a starter for one person, divided in two, and again! There was only one shrimp and one patty! 12.50 ...
Then we asked for a main course for two. Again, there was only rice for two, not the chicken! Again, 12.50 ...
And paying 12.50 for 300 grams of cooked rice as good as it gets is a scam.
We complained to the waiter, politely and like any unhappy customer, to prevent them from doing the same to another customer.
In the end, the server sent us the boss who sent us as ungrateful and ask us not to stay long at the table after the meal.
No commercial sense, and rudeness = we will come back more and we will get bad press!
Of course, the experience is subjective. But yet we are not generally picky!

Pay 40 euros to eat a shrimp, a bland rice full of water, the grilled fish has 13 euros to have a piece of 4cm by 3, a bland chicken not marinated, we have to call to know if it was normal of almost nothing to have to eat for the fare the gentleman tells us that it is normal, frankly an establishment to close because they are thieves and a kitchen really not good.
First and last experience this day in this Indian restaurant. We ordered a Butter chicken, bathing in 3cm of oil, without flavor, without spices, not even salty .... Very disappointed, but fortunately there are very good Indian cuisines in Toulouse for the next occasions

Ghandi was my favorite restaurant 14 years ago. When I returned to Toulouse and saw that I could order at home, I was delighted! What was my disappointment when I rediscovered the chicken tikka massala of my childhood whose sauce had been completely diluted, tasteless. Portions that were, at the time, sufficient, seemed to me completely ridiculous now that I was an adult. There was only the samosas to catch up.
I ordered again, and the sauce was this time correct but nothing more. The next time, the sauce was tasteless. I'm giving up.
PS: I had a few stomach ache the next day. I would give a lot to see the hygiene conditions of the restaurant.

Dishes without flavors, a soup with the look of a sauce ... Amateurs of pepper, we took a dish that was said very spicy and indeed, it was, but that's all.

A very good welcome and delicious food when the frame is rather nice
The biriyani was good and authentic but the gulab jamun was served cold directly from the fridge. The chicken tikka was moderate.
To sum up, the place was good enough and the staff were very friendly. The price is also moderate. I would recommend trying this place at least once if you happen to be at Toulouse.

The owner who from srilanka took good care for us when he realize we are from India and are craving for Indian food. But we said spicy he got us chicken curry with lot of chillies. In indian context when you say spicy it doesnt mean I need lot of chillies. It means please make it indian style with proper spices. The food has been adopted with the taste of locals there, which is fare as most of the customer would be locals here.
