Thursday night we wanted something different but not too heavy. Small venue tight tables but very popular, so book. Wine list and dining menu both blackboards, both very interesting and imaginative, wait staff on the ball and very good, the stuffed cabbage and the tuna were excellent.
Fantastic place, cute little bistro serving pretty classic but very well executed dishes. The wine list is amazing and you have a dozen of excellent natural wines by the glass with great variety on offer. Can t wait to go back again!
One of the best meals I have eaten in Paris. The horse mackerel tartare was particularly good, the bettraves and dill effectively complemented the fish.
The service and the welcome leave something to be desired, vague advice on the wine list, however small, the price of the dishes is too expensive despite good cuisine, salted addition.
One of the best casual dining restaurants in Paris. Fairly priced, great foods and desserts limited but tasty wines. Slowly cooked beef cheek, grilled sweetbread and chocolate mousse were my all time favourites. A must try.

After that it is true that sometimes we find that it is a bit brief (no frills), that the welcome is not the warmest, that we are almost on top of each other when the service is at its peak and that in the end the addition is not the most delicate.
Third time here. Hearty, authentic and unpretentious. Food is always amazing. I try to make it out here everytime I'm in Paris. Slightly inconvenient since it is 30mins away from 8th arrondisement but always well worth the trip!
Very correct kitchen. Unpleasant home always. Is it a pan brand? It is curious to turn one's back ostensibly and converse with contempt. 250 euros for 4. Entrance and dish. A shared dessert. 2 bottles of wine. The morgon very noticed. Beaujolais ensures. From the sales pitch? Without a doubt.
Absolutely exceptional restaurant. Veal brains were soft and unctuous dripping in a perfect lemon butter sauce. Sweetbreads were amazing. Service was great. Wine very good. No nonsense joint. Very contemporary food in a place oozing with character. Seek it out
Very good low key place in the neighborhood. Interesting options, done with care and a twist. A bit pricy for a bistro but worth it if you can swing it. Excellent wine and cheese also.
If Raquel wasn't already married, I would have proposed to her. She would have cooked for me, as she knows how to do it so subtly, while serving me one of those wines of which she has the secret, and I could have watched football in all bliss. Things are decidedly badly done ...

A restaurant that seemed welcoming, but just the opposite, huge disappointment. For a rather high price the food was good but not exceptional, while the neighborhood offers restaurants of much better quality for less. And especially a deplorable service !!! No heat, not even a look when you take the blue card for a salty addition that is not at all at all! I would not stay there again.
We arrived at 7.30 pm on the day that was 35 degrees. It was empty and there was no air conditioning. It wasn't a great ambiance.
I noticed the Happy Hour finished at 8 pm, so I ordered a second glass of champagne at 10 to 8 pm.
When the bill arrived the waiter had not allowed me the Happy Hour prices for either glass. His excuse was that the computer knew the Happy Hour times and you can't argue with the computer. I suggested that it depends what time you register the order.
He acquiesced and took E8 off the bill. I wonder how many others get caught.
The waiter was very nice and the food was good. I can name plenty of restaurants that have jusst as good food and a far better ambiance.
The restaurant that I will never forget, we arrived without reservation and they let us sit down, do not be frightened by the serious rictus of the employees, it is the best rest of Paris without doubts

Just drop dead gorgeous food. If I could request a last meal it would be here. The #1 oysters from Brittany were served in a bowl perfectly garnished. One bowl of three was not enough and a second had be to be summoned. I followed with beef cheeks which was just superb: crunchy and succulent and melted in your mouth goodness. My friend had the lamb shoulder which just out of this world delicious. Save some room for the pear cake though - simply mouth watering. Super friendly owner and waitress. Can t wait to come back.

The legendary Baratin. Nice food & wine. Waiter is gentle.
We ordered lamb, we are served tuna (very good by the way).
But when it is pointed out to the waiter and boss (gruff) not a word of apology !!!!

I had read recommendations in interviews etc .. but what a disappointment !!!!! Home cold jaded owner, fortunately his adorable wife smiled for two.
The room is "overoptimized", we find ourselves on a table less than 1m from the door and two places on the passage overlooking the small room on the left. for the menu at 19 , the entrance bathes in a sauce, we do not even feel the products. The main dish had no relief (beef tab (good baking, tender and crisps, all presented effortlessly), caramel cream dessert (a flamby what, without interest) or cheese (which was good with bread). 3 and nobody appreciated, I will say that they have a good butcher and a good cheese, I do not recommend !! other addresses of the XX are worth more.
Renowned as one of the best bistrots in Paris and it is clearly not for nothing ... To test absolutely if you are in the neighborhood!

The food is good and the place pleasant, but the prices are a bit excessive compared to the portions. Wine level there is choice but not only quality. Finally, a nice boss but a waitress who literally assaults you!

Rude staff and underwhelming food. Got sat at the table furthest from entrance and was ignored for 20 minutes before telling them we would leave if we didn't get any service. Their response was to say they had to check with the chef what was still available. Then served out food within 10 minutes of ordering (always suspicious). The food left alot to be imagined and altogether an incredibly disappointing experience. Maybe you'll get luckier.
Very disappointing experience. Wine was great, fish was good, vegetables perfection. Service subpar (at best) for English speakers. Beef was overcooked with minimal flavor and there was no rectification of the completely bland meal.

Exceptional dinner at the Baratin! The beef cheek is probably the best in Paris. Impeccable service and very good advice by contributing to the choice of wines. One of my favorite places in Paris!
