Awesome atmosphere! A couple of young guys came in and asked if they could play their music live....it ended up being Irish Keltic type music. It was awesome!

Fantastic small town brewery. Authentic pivo-bar (Czech brewery) who have stepped up their game. Probably the best brewery in eau Claire. High Quality beer thats not sugary garbage chasing rookie drinkers. Really nice clientele. Flowers during summer and plenty of seating.

Lazy Monk is a great spot to have a drink, and you can bring your own food which is huge during this time when most places are only doing takeout for food. The spacing inside is enough to allow social distancing, with masks required, they have handled Covid well. But best thing about Lazy Monk is the awesome selection, they don t just have a few different styles or a specialized style they emphasize. And every one is true to style, well brewed, and served by friendly staff happy to point you to local restaurants who deliver. I highly encourage you to try it out!

Root beer is phenomenal; alcoholic beer was good. Staff were super friendly and great. Other customers were fun and chatted with us, very congenial, down-to-earth atmosphere. Lots of space made us feel comfortable during COVID. Dog-friendly = major bonus points. Our pup got treats and there were water bowls for him in the beer garden. Glad we stopped by and plan to come back if we are in the area.

First time visiting this place. The bartender Gordy made us feel very much welcome. Explained things to us and ultimately we had a great time. Their beer is fantastic and there's a fantastic selection for any palate.

We came in on a Tuesday afternoon. It was quiet and staff encouraged us to try several of the beers. I had a sour and husband had an IPA. The beer was just okay, but the atmosphere inside was cool. It was worth stopping if you re a beer fan. The pretzels at the bar were a nice touch. The location is close to the bike trail so we were able to bike there.

Beer was above average. Establishment was immaculately clean. Very friendly servers. There was a musty odor that smelled like an antique store. Large seating area. Some free parking available. Prices very reasonable. Ambiance was not as vibrant as some tap rooms.

My husband and I came here on a Saturday afternoon after we were turned away from the brewery down the street because we had out 7week old daughter with us. This brewery was great...family and dog friendly, great beer selection, Gordy the bartender was very sweet and explained the beer menu to us. The tables and seating areas are spread out enough that you feel safe with covid...but it's not so sparse that it feels empty or sterile. We will 100% be back! We also got a couple 6 packs to go!
