Samuel Bautista and the staff at Laurel Land are amazing. They are caring and compassionate. They go above and beyond to take care of you and your loved ones final needs.
My family's experience was TERRIBLE WITH EARL ANDERSON.
I was beyond pleased with the services I received from Laurel Land with the passing of my mother. Ms. Debra and Jason were outstanding making sure all my needs were made. My mom look absolutely beautiful and her funeral services and comittal were superb. They succeeded beyond my expectations.
I had a wonderful experience with Laurel Land Funeral Home. The passing of my mom, was vary hard on me.
Christopher Jordan really
did a great job with everything.
He made us very comfortable .
And was very professional .
Thank You
Dignity were shown from the time from picking up my Mom after transition from My Home to Laurel Land Funeral Home. They we re caring kind and willing to help us with whatever we needed. They assigned R Netta McDowell,Excellent from start to finish, where we Laid my Mother to rest in OKC.She went above and Beyond her duties, her focus was on the Family.also Micah Hatcher and Cornelious Derokey were also involved in showing us comfort and Compassion.Mrs.DcDowell was our Funeral Director.i Will highly recommend Laurel Land Funeral Home to take care of your needs!!!
My Wife and I have begun the "Pre-Needs" process, and we reached out to Laurel Land Funeral Home for assistance. Mr. Earl Anderson was the Laurel Land Representative that was assigned to us.
I must admit, we were a little hesitant about the process initially, but after asking many questions, and discussing multiple options with Mr. Earl Anderson, we relaxed considerably. We found Mr. Anderson to be patient, detailed, and quite knowledgeable of the "pre-planning" experience. We also found the rates/final expenses for services to be commensurate, if not better than others in the Metroplex. I would encourage everyone to consider investigating how "pre-planning" can calm fears, and answer pertinent questions that will generate peace of mind for you, and your loved ones.....
Let me start by saying the way that they handled every aspect from the initial Call of Duty and stating my mom had passed to date of them just calling and checking on me n my family has been the most helpful experience that I think I could ever go through. Arthur Mitchell was the most professional conscientious caring person I have endured through this entire Journey he was totally compassionate and very attentive to my family and I every need. Mister Mitchell made sure that if it was down to the smallest detail it was taken care of and handled as soon as possible. I would never be able to thank thank you enough for everything that you did for both me and my family Mister Mitchell you are a blessed man and I truly thank God for you you are Heaven Sent. Thanks again Laurel Land Funeral Home for everything.
Yours truly,
Keva Lewis daughter of Brenda Lois Goodman Harden
The coordinators were efficient and friendly. Clean and accessible. Accommodating to family and friends.
Laureland is a beacon of excellence in the industry. The superior service provided by Arthur Mitchell comforts the family and creates a beautiful celebration of life. Thank you Mr. Mitchell, your professionalism and patience are par excellent.
Excellent service & very professional & would highly recommend Laurel Land.
Beautiful facility. Professional directors. Attention to detail. I was very satisfied with the services rendered. Thank you, Ms Haggerty, for your assistance during our time of sorrow. Encountered one small problem with the music during the viewing. There was an internet problem and the entire playlist never played through. Everything else was excellent.
First I would like to thank God for Laurel Land Funeral Home and staff for an excellent job well done for my sister, Pastor Beverly Jean Baylock Dixon. She was BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL JUST BEAUTIFUL. . Director Arthur Mitchell and staff handly and treated our family with professionalism, with respect, with courtesy and kindness, and the presentation of the Visitation and all other services was outstanding. Thank you Director Rev. Arthur Mitchell for everything done for my sister and our family. God bless you all.
Thank you for helping me and my family out with everything.
This was the first time I had to experience burying a loved one. I was given excellent service from start to finish..
Mr. Jordan made sure that I wasn't stressed or overwhelmed with anything except having to mourn for my daughter.
I would highly recommend using Laurel Land Funeral Home. I couldn't have asked for better service during this dark time.
AWESOME SERVICE! I highly recommend Laurel Land Funeral Home and Ms. Debra Haggerty as the Funeral Director.
Everyone my family and I worked with at Laurel Land, during the passing of my father, was AMAZING, THOUGHTFUL, AND KIND. Including Mr. Chris Jordan, Mr. Lance Williams, and Mr. Wes Hadnot.
Words cannot completely explain the WONDERFUL service we received from this Funeral Home. Mr. Hadnot was even kind enough to come to our home when my Mother was not feeling up to it.
Thank you Laurel Land for being a top-notch, efficient, proficient, and kind organization!
I would recommend Laurel Land to anyone!
The passing of my husband was devastating to many. The services that Laural Land provided was unbelievable! The staff was very friendly, professional and very understanding.
Arthur Mitchell assisted me from day one until now without hesitation and for that I m truly grateful!
Christopher Jordan wad very helpful in arranging my mother's funeral. Everything went smoothly, and all the staff helping us with the actual services were more than kind and very friendly.
Yes a beautiful place. Horrible service !!! Not professional at all. All they want is money. They tried to rip us off and sell us an expensive plot. Also they lied about what they had available. To get us to buy the more expensive plot. My aunt was buried there in May 2019. I visited her grave last weekend 07/27/2019 to find that their was no marker on her grave to identify her grave.Staff member took my name and number and said some one would call me back and of course they didn t. The day of service no one accompanied us (Jason , the guy who sold us the plot) out there to the burial site. Jason told us he would be there. There awful!!! God bless them peoples and God have mercy on there souls......
They really took care of my husbands services as they have for my entire family. We have trusted no other place to provide care to our loved ones. Of course this is not a cheap down the road turn key funeral home. You get what you pay for and the staff Tracy and Tarsha went above and beyond my expectations.
A beautiful place well-cared-for respectful people in the office
I want to thank George, Rnetta, you Guy's are the best also Debra and Chris for putting all together from the bottom of my heart a big Thanks to all.
Mr. Arthur Mitchell and his staff were excellent. He was caring, timely, and efficient. I couldn t have had a better experience.
I now have my big sis laid 2rest til we meet again!! Til we dance again sista u keep dancing for Jesus!!!
The funeral director was so professional. However, the back end, chapel service personnel need to get some training on Music equipment . May want to hire an IT person to handle all music, video and etc. This was such an ordeal, and would give this place a 5 star rating if this was improved.
Sonni was the best during our time of bereavement, she took the time to listen and made everything possible. Mariah Jones was easy to work with and very understanding for my mothers headstone, both of you ladies are awesome and was truly a blessing for our family!
I LOVE this place. The staff is friendly and helpful. But Mr. Christopher Jordan was AWESOME he really did a WONDERFUL job on my Granny. She was BEAUTIFUL and looked AMAZING as if she was sleeping beauty. If you need to put a love one away let Laurel Land be the place it is BEAUTIFUL there. Also if possible ask for Christopher Jordan he will make sure to get you well taken care of and will take the time to explain everything to you.
During a difficult time in our lives, grieving for our love one, Mr. Arthur Mitchell and his staff made the final process of the burial much easier. Not only was he there to help guide us through the final arrangements, he provided our family with comfort and support during our grieving and we were confident that he was handling all the arrangements with our wishes. The whole process went smoothly and the funeral was beautiful. A better job could not have been done in laying our loved one to rest. Your services went over and above our expectations! Thank you so much!
The Roy Family
My Uncle grandfather brother and grandmother are all laid to rest there and always have been pleasant experience for my family
I was lost - wandering the section where my grandparents are buried - when Elterese was driving by. She stopped, asked if I needed help, called the office, had a map of the section texted to her and walked the lot with me until we found my grandparents marker. In the 100 degree heat!!
Such a kind and helpful person. Thank you Elterese and thank you LaurelLand for having people like her.
My aunt Charlsie Starr and I had an appointment with Mr. Earl Anderson.(Family Service Counselor) Mr Anderson came prepared. He had both our personal files ready for us to review. He explained to us our individual plans. He also explained to us the TRPP. Which was new to us. Mr. Anderson, as well as the two young ladies at the front desk, was very professional and courteous. We had a wonderful appointment. Thank you.
I was helped today in a most generous way by Laurel Land Funeral Home and Memorial Park. I new my grandmother and great grandmother are buried at Laurel Land. I even have a clipping of the obituary. But, there still is no memorial marker or headstone for my grandmother s resting place. The family did not order one at the time of her death. Ms Sandra Ford took the information and dates I had listed for my grandmother and was able to locate the gravesite within an hour. And she was also able to find the resting place of my great grandmother, in an older section of the cemetery. I am so pleased. I was calling from out of state and knew that a inperson visit will be unlikely for at least another year. Thank you, Sandra and Laurel Land.
My family was extremely pleased with the quality care and attention we received planning our Mother's memorial. Arthur Mitchell took control and made sure that all of of needs and requirements were met. The facility is beautiful and everyone there was helpful. I highly recommend them.
Laureland funeral director Mr. Arthur Mitchell and staff gave us exceptional service in planning love ones funeral arrangements. I loved the entire service. It was uniquely tailored and designed. It mimicked my husbands personality. I loved Laurel Land Director and Staff. They made the transitioning much lighter and less a burden. Thanks again to Laureland Funeral Director and Staff...... Our family could not have asked for a better level of care during our time of grief. We were extremely happy with Laurel Land and the amazing service that was provided. We thank you so much for EVERYTHING! We worked with Pamela Sing, and she is absolutely amazing. She answered every phone call, text message, and email. She made us feel well taken care of during our time of grief. Our entire family loved her! Thank you so much to the entire Laurel Land team. You will never know how appreciative we are for your professionalism, care, and overall service!
I called to do a flower placement for my husbands father and spoke with a person named James. He was very loud, rude, and overbearing and didn't seem to want to help me. When you just lost a loved one the last thing you want is someone with a bad attitude handling things.
The service extended to our family, by Funeral Director Arthur Mitchell & the Laurel Land staff, was superb! Every phone call & email was returned. The entire process to lay mom to rest with dad, at the DFW National Cemetary, was seamless. The compassion shown will never be forgotten. He made us feel like getting our mother to her final resting place was at the top of his daily agenda! The program, flowers, portraits....just first class & so BEAUTIFIL!
I recently had to tragically bury my mother, which is anyone's worst nightmare, but laurel land took it to another level of grief for my family and I. When you're burying someone you only have one chnce to say your final gooodbye and laurel land took that away my from all of us. Our service was abruptly cut short because laurel land double booked funerals. Nobody from laurel land called either one of my sister's or I to apologize for double booking funerals when we were trying to lay my mom to rest, respectfully. I can only imagine that laurel land didn't call the other family that had to sit and wait to have their service while the tractor was putting dirt in my mother's grave.
Tracy Hunter was our funeral director, I just want to say thank you You were a very nice person! A excellent director -Jonathan Barajas
Its a very unfriendly place. Not very welcoming and it's rare to find polite workers
I walked into Laurel Land Funeral Home, on October 1,2020. Arthur Mitchell, met me and my family with grace and humility. He was there for me from the beginning to end without hesitation. Service was October 9,2020 the service was Phenomenal without question. Everything was in order from start of service until end of service. I m so grateful for Mr. Mitchell, God has called you to do what you do with style and grace.
Thank You
Torsha Haynes and Family
R Netta McDowell made this heart breaking process easier for my family. She made sure all the arrangements were the way the family requested it. She followed up through the whole process, even after the service. I highly recommend Laurel Land Funeral Home.
Wonderful experience..I highly recommend this place me and my family worked with Mariah and she made our process as smooth as possible. Thank you!!
With the recent unexpected passing of a close friend who left no plans in place for her funeral my husband and I decided it was time to get our final wishes planned out and taken care.
We visited Laurel Land Funeral Home in Dallas and set our appointment with Sherry Flewellen. We met with Sherry a couple of times to get information on what Laurel Land provides in terms of services and what packages fit with our wishes. Throughout this process Sherry demonstrated the knowledge and commitment to her job. She took time to explain and answer all of our questions before we decided to commit to get our plans finalized.
During our last visit with Sherry she introduced us to her manager, Charma McBay who working together got us through the paper work and process of making sure when the time comes the only thing one of us would have to do is call Laurel Land and everything would be taken care of according to the wishes we discussed with Sherry and Charma.
It's such a major relief to know that our final plans have been made and paid for and no other major decisions will be needed down the road.
Thanks again to both Sherry and Charma for their professionalism and time in helping us through a process that no one wants to talk about but everyone will face someday. We can highly recommend Laurel Land the the people who work there.
I was attending my coworkers husbands viewing on yesterday. What can I say about Tracy Hunter other than his professionalism was out outstanding. The compassion he showed towards my coworkers family was nothing short of AMAZING. Thank you Mr Hunter for showing so much love and kindness on yesterday.
Tracy Hunter by far what makes Laurel Land five stars. He was professional, prompt, and went beyond my high expectation. He was a gift sent from god to make my life easier and handle the obstacles I had to deal with. Stellar work Mr. Hunter!
Kelsey R went above and beyond with helping my family. Any issues or questions we had were quickly taken care of. Kelsey was knowledgeable and very reliable.
Called months after my loved one passed asking me to come set up funeral arrangements for myself how rude I m still grieving. Not to mention how that brought up the whole thing over again and I cried
Thank you very much to Arthur Mitchell for the beautiful journey you aloud us to end gracefully by laying my oldest sister to rest. The service and the body was beautiful.
Job well done her oldest brother Sam Miller!
I would like to thank the staff at laurel land for my mothers beautiful service, everyone was professional and everything was perfect. I like to thank Christopher Jordan for his patience with my family he made the process so simple. We received so many compliments about my mother service. Thanks again
they are amazing. My husband and son are buried there and I noticed that their flower vases were broke. I wrote into them and Santasha Fountain, responded back to me and told me she was getting this taken care of for me. Thank you for all your help!
Thank you to Tracy Hunter. The service for my husband was simply beautiful. You and your staff walked me through every step. You all handled everything with kindness and professionalism. My husband deserved and got the very best.
Very professional and made the best out of a difficult and sad time
When my mother passed on June 9, l was overwhelmed with grief. When the hospital chaplain asked if we have a funeral home picked out, l immediately said Arthur Mitchell at Laueral Land. I had seen his work before and l wanted my mom to be just as beautiful. Arthur Mitchell did not disappoint! Pastor Beverly Baylock was beautiful!! Everything from beginning to end was stella!! Keep doing the doggone thing!
Thanks Arthur and Laurel Land we are forever in your debt.....
I would have given them 0 stars if that had been a choice. My husband's uncle purchased a prepaid funeral plan in the 1960's. He passed away in February of this year. We made arrangements and the people we worked with for that were very kind and professional. The problem came later. About a month ago we went to see his headstone and discovered it wasn't there. My husband called to see when the headstone would be engraved and placed. After calling for a week and getting the run-around and no one ever calling back, he finally talked to Weldon Hadnot. My husband had to leave several messages for him and just keep calling before he would talk to him. Mr. Hadnot told him we would have to fill out more paperwork and pay $395 to have it engraved (we did this the day we made arrangements, but ok, we'll do it again). Since my husband is not the "official" next of kin, we had to send the paperwork to his uncle's brother. We paid to have it over-nighted and extra to have it sent back to Laurel Land. So we did all that and they received it. We thought "finally, we'll get this taken care of!!" Today we got an email (not even the decency of a phone call!) from Weldon Hadnot stating that they didn't get the paperwork within the time-frame needed and we would have to do it again!!! No one EVER mentioned a time-frame! BTW we have a postal signature form that shows they received it 11 days after we got the forms to sign. I'm not sure what the time-frame is, but I can't imagine why 11 days isn't within that! We have talked to someone in charge of memorials, but they haven't followed through as promised either. No one seems to care! There is no reason why our loved one should be disrespected like this!!! My personal opinion is that the prepaid funeral plan was a fraction of what it would cost today, so they aren't making money off of this. I hope no one else has to go through what we have!
The staff at Laurel Land made the process of my dads funeral and burial as painless as possible. The kindness and respect showed was second to none. My sincere thanks.
Kelsey Rutherford was awesome. Very professional answered all my questions and put all my concerns to rest. Thank you soo much for all that you have done for me and my sister.. Couldn't have asked for more she was wonderful.
Tracy Hunter was AMAZING! Extremely professional and prompt to answer and questions. He truly went over the top to make sure the service was not stressful. I continue to have people tell me how beautiful the service was and we owe that to Tracy. Thank you
Do NOT buy multiple plots with the intention of eventually being buried with your loved ones. Unless you KNOW that your family will have access to inherited wealth, do NOT do this, because those plots will end up empty or reclaimed and given to another family; these salespeople feel no obligation to make sure your purchase will play out the way you intended, and you'll be too dead to do anything about it.
These con artists will have absolutely 0 issues extorting your descendants into shelling out enough money to buy a brand new vehicle, as if being buried near a highway on the south side of Dallas could be worth that much in ANY reality, whatsoever...
They are negligent and inconsiderate . We came to pick and pay for a marker for my great grandmother . The man had us waiting in a room for appointment that he was 10 mins late to and then left again to pull something up that he didn t remember he had already discussed with my family . He was adamant that he wasn t the person that we spoke with but he was called out by name . They do offer beautiful services but you will be a nerve short of crazy besides having to grieve your loved one . Also he offered no condolences . Just a bad experience .
Great Customer Service from Mr. Earl Anderson (June-2019) in th passing of my brother!
(December-2020) I received great Customer Service from Yolanda, who addressed my concerns about my brother's gravesite! Her personality was verrry warm & pleasant to speak with in person!
Horrible my mom had been in the ground 30 min we had not even got home calling to try to sell me a lot and now the lot we buried her in by the pond the pond is green and slimy wow has been for 3 years
My worst horror was having to lay my mother to rest. From the time we entered the establishment we were treated with care and consideration. We were assigned Mr. Arthur Mitchell. He was caring, considerate, professional, respect and very solicitous. No matter the request or how difficult I was he was patient and kind. Unfortunately, the events that led up to his stellar customer service was heartbreaking, but his compassion made it so much easier. Thank you for the care you provided for my family.
Kept me from my husband for 9 days, double charged me for A Memorial service. Put the worst photo of my husband. With his belly sticking out and a drink in his hand. He looked worse after make up than before. They never found our assets. I'm still looking for Investment accts, patents.
Was our family cemetery. I hope to be buried somewhere else. They didn't give me what I wanted.
Laurel Land Funeral Home helped me & my sister to finalize our mom s funeral arrangements. They were always helpful & and ready to help any way they could! Their ability to help us in such a sad time in our lives goes above & beyond what we expected! Our funeral director, Debra, was incredible! She was always in touch with us & always available when we needed her. We will always refer them to our friends & family!
Mr. Mitchell did a very wonderful job and staff very professional
the had no A/c on all the days even at time of fueral and did not try to help my95 year old mom had to set in heat i so did i and all that came. i would sell my 2 spaces here but thy say thy will not by it back made funal by some one that will do the job no thank to them .
Our entire family is so thankful for all the incredible effort at serving us in the passing of my dad. I have never been more impressed with an organization or with the caliber of people who work there. The entire team totally outdid themselves in every facet of the operation. We were all so deeply touched by their kindness, professionalism and compassion. You wowed us, and you wowed us big! My dad looked great! The program brochure blew everyone's mind, the casket was beautiful and the food and servers were the kindest, most genuine people. I would HIGHLY recommend Mr. Arthur Mitchell and Laurel Land. They were special when we really needed them to be.

Debra and all other staff were very helpful in getting any necessary paperwork to me to complete and move forward with the service. Thanks so much as it is a difficult time especially with Covid-19 and everyone took it in consideration and made the experience less stressful.
Arthur Mitchell provided excellent service for my family
I'm at the graves now and the ground keepers are doing a horrible job for the people buried in the back. I cannot see half of the tombstones, you have grass/ dirt over it . This is really sad.
Even though our requests were unusual, Laurel Land worked well with us, and Chris was a great facilitator! The makeup on my mother was expertly done beautiful! I couldn t be more pleased.
Pam Sing Prater what can I say? From the time I walked into the funeral home everyone was so compassionate. Pam, Pam, Pam- this woman made sure every thing was perfect, even off the clock she worked countless hours to make sure our
homegoing ceremony was nothing short of amazing. The way you cared for our loved one, you acted like this was your baby . The compassion and empathy shown was almost as if this was your loss. Thank you for sharing our grief with us. I ve NEVER met anyone like you. God has the right person in the right place. You made the impossible possible. God bless you times infinity.
Your AMAZING hospitality made this entire ordeal a lot easier and smoother. We thank God that you were sent to help help us! Thank you
Chris Jordan- same for you, you made sure every thing went smoothly. Your personality made this so much easier- thank you for being you. You made me laugh during this sad occasion. Thank you! You re a gem.
Patti - your entire presentation from when I walked into the door from the time I left was everything. You were very professional and dressed the part of a professional. That made me say- ok, this is where I need to be. Your hospitality is world class.
The funeral home was clean, nice, I mean everything was so organized, and everyone was just so hospitable. When we finalized everything- I felt like I was family.
Whoever is in charge- GREAT JOB- you have an amazing staff!
My grandfather had a crypt in the mausoleum for a long time. When he passed away, Laurel Land came to the rescue. They handled everything with grace and sincerity and aplomb. They really took care of us (my sister and I) and we knew that Granddaddy was in good hands. They came through in a very difficult situation but I suppose that's what they do! I am going to get my own pre-needs package with them. Laurel Land Memorial Park is the best, and you can trust them with your loved ones always. Thank you!
We were overcharged for a memorial marker and will address the business directly for an immediate correction. K.Bonner
Mariah Jones is absolutely phenomenal! She made the arrangement process smooth and comfortable for me while remaining professional. She guided me through the process as if she was close family. Mariah was very informative and consistent. There was never a moment she lacked empathy or concern. My favorite thing of all, she didn t pressure me into making a decision that I wasn t ready to make. Her patience and level of understanding how hard it is to loose someone goes unmatched.
Mariah Jones the memorial designer was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly.
On behalf of our family I would like to thank you for your sympathetic, professionalism during this painful process. We are extremely pleased with your services. I would like to personally thank Mrs Debra Gaggerty, Mrs.Norma, Mrs.Danna and Crystal. You guys make a great team. Thank you very much for your help in this most difficult time. We couldn t have done it with out y all. Loosing a loved one is never easy but you guys were a lot of help to me and my mom. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Mr. Arthur Mitchell and his staff made the entire experience of laying my mother to rest so very easy, They entire staff was amazing, My family and I were well pleased. Thank you
Lovely country atmosphere. My son has been here since 2000 and I enjoy the 4 times a year I come to place flowers.
Arthur Mitchell the funeral director that we use was great for my auntie's funeral Mrs Darnell He really made it easy on the family Will come back if we have any more death in my family Hes our funeral director
Amazing. I can't thank Christopher enough. He made everything so easy at such a difficult time. Thank you I will forever appreciate everything you did for my family. God bless
My Momma was laid to rest with dignity!! Everyone involved was extremely friendly.
This is a huge operation. They have several locations across DFW. It would appear to be well kept and friendly. However, for Special Observances, they do not seem to be as enthusiastic.
During the Memorial Day holiday, my husband and I went out to pay tribute to his mom and dad, who are buried there. His dad was in WW11 and is buried in the "Field of Honor". While visiting, we noticed that they were preparing for a service for the holiday. In doing that, they had gone through a couple of sections in the cemetery and placed small personal American flags on every single grave. They had lined the roadway into the cemetery with Flags, in the section reserved for the ceremony.
In the Field of Honor, adjacent to the ceremony, there was not one American Flag placed on those military grave sites. They had even allowed placement of the HUGE American Flags, across the street, surrounding Babyland, a space reserved for children's burial. But the entire Field of Honor was left blank and void of ANY sign of appreciation for Memorial Day. As we stood there dumbfounded, we were blatantly reminded that we were not the only ones who noticed. There were several families present who were visibly upset, their loved ones had not received one second's worth of notice from Laurel land.
Upon calling to the office, from the cemetery, I was switched to the supposedly responsible party, who appeared to be more concerned with trying to justify the situation. I hung up, knowing, they were not going to do anything to remedy the problem BEFORE Memorial Day! I sent an email when I got home. Received a call from someone there with the same explanation as the person I previously spoke with. Justification for WHY they didn't show the respect to the Field of Honor, they had shown to the others. I totally feel that Laurelland is about the almighty dollar, just as the rest of the world is. So sad they chose to NOT spend $30 at Walmart to purchase the needed flags for this section.
They do only what they have to vs doing what is right. I am extremely disappointed with their lack of perception from the families who have loved ones buried in this neglected space. We have been there many times and not been able to obtain water to put in the flower vases, or finding trash or other issues. We requested maintenance on the marker for his family and have yet to see it repaired. This particular part of the cemetery seems to get the most neglect. Shameful with our soldiers who served so many years ago.
For the cost of planning and executing a funeral and burial at Laureland, you would expect better service and much better treatment for your loved ones. Maybe Laureland has gotten so big, they don't have the time nor inclination to provide respectful and dedicated service AFTER you are dead. So Sad. My husband and I are in the planning stages of our future services for this.
We originally were talking about starting this process with Laureland. However, after several issues we have observed, we are no longer considering them as an option. It is stressful enough to have to do this, but for the loved ones to have to deal with problems later is too much. We are now looking at places that are less corporate and more personalized and respectful to the patrons that are no longer able to issue a protest for bad service.
This staff was great.A employee named Yalonda was great in helping me,very polite and pleasant to talk to. she gave me all the information I needed and she even gave me the name and number to the nearest florist to help me get the flowers that I needed. 11/18/20
Thank you Ms. Tasha Sountain for your professionalism. Assisting me with my concerns and taking care of my payment. You made it easy and made me feel comfortable. Thanks Again I felt your smile over the phone.
Reverend Arthur Mitchell did an excellent job for my sister Pastor Beverly Baylock Dixon. I am glad our family entrusted Laurel Land Funeral Home for my sister Homegoing Celebration. Thank you for a 10 star service.
Mr. Mitchel has been great in assisting our family with preparations of my beloved spouse
funeral services. From start to finish we have no doubts in his ability to handle every detail accordingly. Arthur has been so professional and accommodating to our family needs.
I highly recommend Laurel land to friends and family needing their services when you lose a love one - Grief, pain and suffering is all you can think about - your numb and in shock from tragic loss of your love one. So they make it as painless as possible to handle your love one with care & dignity.
Most of the staff is very friendly and very helpful. Planning the service and cemetery has been so easy and quick. The only bad experience was the receptionist named Tammy. She is extremely rude!! The way she talks to the clients is truly terrible. I have never had a worse experience and it is surprising because it is customer service job. I do hope they find someone else to replace her because she cannot yell that way to people who are grieving. We had already signed contracts for the funeral home and everything or else I would ve walked away just because of that rude old lady.
Laurel Land Funeral Home went above and beyond with my mom Debra Bell services! Major shout out to Arthur Mitchell for a phenomenal job. You were very professional and accommodating throughout the whole process. You made the family feel pleased in every way. Thank you for all you did, we really appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.
Mariah Jones was very professionally and helpful during my family time in need..
Thank you Mariah Jones
Rnetta was amazing! She walked us through everything and was so kind. She did such a great job with the obituary and program for the service. She captured my mom s personality to a tee. We are so thankful that the Lord provided so many wonderful people to guide us through a very difficult time. Thank you so much! The Maxwell Family
