Las Vegas Motor Speedway Review

Well organized and operated. Drink lots of water. Look and think ahead on the track.

First time at a Nascar race and a Nascar track. The track is easy to find you can see it from the freeway. Funding parking sucked we had to ask the people where to go. You have to turn right if the freeway and go around by the dirt course then past the drag racing stands to park. They limit what you can bring in. One for item per person ex one sandwich or one bag of chips. There website said no family size items. We took in a box of cheese it crackers and the first day they just asked if it was family size. We said no and they were fine. The second day they almost didn't let us getting the same box because they thought it was too big. So not very consistent. You are only allowed one unopened 20oz bottle if water bottle and water is $5 there were fountains by the bathrooms but they were terrible to fill up a bottle. No metal detectors and no searches of the people now days that made me a little nervous. No wifi sucked a lot.

Watched a great race and had a great time. Met some very interesting people and made new friends

We had a great time. Everyone was so polite and helpful. Kinda expensive for snacks. Clean and safe family venue. You gotta go just for the fun.

Best idea and the cars...the machines ,the service everything is awesome there

Been there for EDC music festival and it was Amazing. The speedway is huge.

Great place to watch a NASCAR race just wish it was a night race with a cooler temperature. Food and water prices are ridiculously high. There are NO shaded seats and at least one person was being helped by medics every 10 minutes for heat related symptoms.

Great track for racing considering in is 1.5 mile track. I was disappointed could not bring beverages into track. Also water was $5 for a bottle with not very many water fountains. With temperatures over 100 degrees, would be nice to bring in beverages. Understand no alcohol, but other beverages should be allowed. Every other NASCAR track allows them. There was a pool and water misters around, but very spread out.

Excellent racing facility clean restrooms plenty of food vendors

Great time, got to ride in a car, change a tire, and drive a simulation car of the track that's there. Has a bar and decent food. You can drive a car if you pay for that part of it. Definitely worth checking out.

Killer place for the gear head, cool souvenir store! Close to to the air base. You can watch the fighter jets come and go.......

Cool track reminds me of Iowa speedway not many cautions. The food is very Mexican a lot of burritos and nachos at the vendors but can find corn dogs and cheeseburgers. You have to purchase a pass so you dont have to wait an hour to be released out of your parking spot. Download an app or you'll never find your car as everything looks the same

Best race facility I have been to and I have been to several. Heads above most. Very easy access into and out of parking lot. Also have Uber service.

LVMS is always the best!! My first visit to the gift shop was great!! Very friendly and helpful!!

Great time at the NASCAR truck race. Super facility.

Christmas light show is a rip off. Should be free considering all thats going on.

Horrible transportation planning! Left hundreds in the rain waiting for downtown drop off.

This review is specifically in regaurds to the track tour, NOT a racing experience.

We have been trying to get a full tour since April of 2017. Every tine we are in town they have an event. We finally achieved a full tour today. Summer is AH-MAZING at her job. We look foward to seeing her even if we can only 'tour' the gift shop. So being able to get the full Speedway tour, she did not disappoint!

Sadly I am not giving LVMS 5 stars because of a different gift shop employee. We travel frequently with a trained service animal. This employee insisted that we were only allowed on the tour because there were no other passengers, because "Service Animals aren't allowed when there are other people on the tour". We know this is not true because we did a half tour with our SA 2 years ago. When we explained everything to her, she snapped back that she "must not know what I'm talking about".

I honestly hope LVMS does not actually discriminate again Service Animals because the could one day have a serious issue.

Came to see nascar. Wasn't disappointed with the track or amenities.

EDC was amazing the speedway was great. Staff was clueless but they managed to assist and guide one another when needed.

Amazing track. But races could be scheduled better for weather conditions.

As a drag racing fanatic....The Strip at LVMS is a fans dream.

We went to dream racing to fulfill hubby's dream of driving FAST on a track
The staff are excellent , friendly, and knowledgeable. The car selection is superb, and they do have some packages.
They do a dash top video so you can see your speed on the laps.
A complimentary ride to the track and back is a bonus.
It is expensive, but I have never seen a bigger smile on his face!

The Petty driving experience was such a great Christmas present for Husband! Thanks to all of the staff for living up to expectations. Niece did the ride along loved it, her driver was nice enough to answer her driving questions and give her some pointers.

30 km from Las Vegas Downtown. Beautiful place to drive a Ferrari.

I took my son for his 18th birthday so the South Point 400 it was a blast great staff awesome venue

Edc experience was amazing. I know its a speedway but what an awesome venue

If you like fast machines this is the place to go
Only issue is driving in & out - once you park be ready to go on a hike as lots are massive
Leave early as traffic can make the drive to and from can be an hour+ drive

Dirty and rough but it's a crazy track created by some of the best in racing. Always a great time!

EDC is the most amazing event! Perfect venue. Extreme traffic.

My very first NASCAR race I ever attended was the 2002 UAW Daimler Chrysler 400 (Sterling Marlin won, even after spinning to miss pit road). That was also the day I became a Jimmie Johnson fan. We sat in the middle of turn 3-4, where (the late) Bobby Hamilton hit the wall, with the loud thud which made the whole section jump (this was before safer barriers). From what I remember, I had a lot of fun. I was able to meat the Rooster (Ricky Rudd) and Kurt Busch. Although I am not a big fan of 1.5 mile ovals, this track is still fun to watch

Love the NHRA Roundy rounds Bull Arena not so much a fan of NASCAR dirt track Outlaw Racing off-road racing there is just everything there that you can imagine great place to take family and friends

Was hot, but a blast. Paying was organized, concessions were what you would expect.
