Las Vegas Motor Speedway Review

Crooked admins. Way to picky.
Wont let people race cause they are too fast and they just make up excuses.

Obviously Vegas is a great place to visit with many things to do for cheap or free entertainment. That said, this track does NOT allow alcohol or snacks to be brought inside. Also the seats are ALWAYS in the sun. The inaugural september race was horrible with the heat. The pool and tent were much appreciated, but crowded as expected. I have been coming here every tear, every race for the last 10 years. Security is sketchy at best, and traffic after is horrendous. They put in 6 wonderful lanes on the boulevard and a new on ramp to th 15 freeway however, they force everyone out in one 2 lanes and then bottleneck. Tickets are cheaper on secondhand sites.

Great food, lots of vendors, and we had an amazing time.

Big time raceway. Outside Las Vegas 20 minutes and has a great track.

Ist Nascar race I've ever been too, really enjoyed seeing one in person. Las Vegas Speedway's viewer stands Are NOT!!!!! HANDICAP FRIENDLY OR BEING ABLE TO GET TO YOUR SEAT. EVERYONE CAN'T CLIMB OR DESCEND STAIRS WHEN THEY HAVE TO USE A WALKER OR WHEEL CHAIR.

#LVMS Great Racing all weekend long. Only problem is that they removed a lot of seats not sure if they needed to lower the maximum capacity or of they were not selling all the seats out so they got rid of them. Also the price of everything especially concessions (Food,Beer) has gone up significantly in just a few years.

Safe place for young people to enjoy them selfs. I never give anything five stars though; there's always room to be improved in something.

Was ok. Great race had fun yet hot and was super expensive. Way to expensive.

If you have the Need for Speed, and wanted to see the cars go zoom zoom zoom, then the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is the place to be. Unfortunately none of that was going on during my last visit. My last visit was all about the Christmas light display, which was awesome! There's always something different going on up here, whether it be a car race, a big concert / party, or the Christmas lights display. Come out to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and let's see what's going on out there next.

Lucky 7 parking is great for getting out after the races.

Easy access from Las Vegas blvd and I-15 even with 400k people leaving traffic was only a 1.5hrs max

You can even take a car or during the day if you pay. Great track!

Great place for a Race, lots of Nascar trailers with plenty of souvenirs. Good food, a little pricey but most large events are. Great place for local racers and they have a great mascot named Pit Boss that everyone loves.

First time I have ever been. I won tickets for the Pennzoil 400 the first weekend in March. I loved it! I also had Neon Garage and Pit passes. Not only was this my first time to this speedway but also my first race ever. It was fun and how awesome to be able to see the race cars in their garages and getting worked on. Even better, pit row was awesome! Thanks for being great!

Just great ....
We have already taken a ride in the NASCAR (5 laps) and seen the Xfinity and NASCAR races last weekend ... Great .... However, it is not cheap to feed there during the race days. For example, all soft drinks 500 ml 5, - USD ... Margaritas so 10, -. ... Hamburger 8, - ..... But no matter ... you can bring only 1 soft drink and 1 part to eat. Just go there!

Love this place even though the speed limit is only 23mph lol

10/10 one weekend of the year. Can t wait for the next EDC

Great venue, particularly for the Kobalt 400. Without planning, traffic can take you hours to get from Henderson or the Strip, when there are big events such as a race. Plan ahead, leave plenty of time in advance to avoid any traffic tie ups.

Can I buy an extra star? One of the best family oriented events and venues in Vegas! LVMS is very accommodating for handicap access as well. From shuttle's from the parking lot to easy access throughout the venue itself. Don't second guess this one... Get on out here!

Great seats, turn 4. Easy in, 45 min. out. Venue and neon garage were awesome. Alot of sun. Tell everyone sunscreen

Oh wow just sad wasn't 4 wide in the fall but so amazing to be between the mountains and experience NHRA at its finest great day!!!!

I'm from California, and I moved to Vegas to be closer to NASCAR! I love drag races!

My beautiful wife and I went to the NHRA drags! It was a blast! All kinds of vendors racers show cars good food and friendly people were there. I cannot wait to go again next year! This is one of vent and one place you won't regret going!

The place was too crowded for EDC and had to walk a long way to get in

EDC was cool the traffic flow was horrible. Find a better way to direct traffic people.

Unfortunately it was a very hot day. We never did make it to our seats. We stayed in the shade and watch the monitors. Everybody at the track was helpful and friendly.

Beautiful day at LVMS for pre-season car & track testing. Many cup favorites came to LV.

My very first NASCAR race I ever attended was the 2002 UAW Daimler Chrysler 400 (Sterling Marlin won, even after spinning to miss pit road). That was also the day I became a Jimmie Johnson fan. We sat in the middle of turn 3-4, where (the late) Bobby Hamilton hit the wall, with the loud thud which made the whole section jump (this was before safer barriers). From what I remember, I had a lot of fun. I was able to meat the Rooster (Ricky Rudd) and Kurt Busch. Although I am not a big fan of 1.5 mile ovals, this track is still fun to watch

A fun place to watch a race but the event staff were poorly informed of where key items were located, such as TAXI CABS and this really diminished the experience.

Thousands of ppl! Lines took forever (standing in line 1 hr at Chevy trailer). No tables or chairs to sit and eat besides for up on the blazers. But it was amazing and a very nice experience. Good track and definitely worth it... Especially if ur driver win!!!

I was there on March 3, 2019. It was my first NASCAR race and it was thrilling. I will be there every year

I love the Speedway!

Ensure to plan for an hour or two to leave the venue after a big event.

Love this location. The car show they had prior to the race was fun too. No bad seats. Make sure you bring your ear protection and get there plenty early for good seats.

We went for the Christmas lights that are going on now. $18 per car. They have a boy scouts selling hot chocolate, apple cider, popcorn for a fundraiser. The light and everything was good family enjoyed it. Saw it from the I-15 on the way back to Vegas from Ely. I went live on FB

Only reason to go as for EDC, and if you want to get in for free VIP and custom delivery...well, that's am inside secret

EDC 2019 was the most amazing experience I've had. I camped and I would honestly make that decision again! The crowd was huge which made it hard to walk around and the weather was a bit cold but I'd do it all over again

The santa tram for the glittery lights lv was great could have asked for a better night

This track, omg so spacious. It's worth the trip coming from spring valley area. Bring enough snacks for the kids because it is far.
