My son is high functioning on the autism spectrum and has had a lot of dental problems over the years. We have been to many dentists to try to get him proper treatment. This usually fails because he becomes fearful, or the office doesn't know how to properly work with children who have special needs and refuses proper accomodations. We visited Dr. Caldwell's office and I was beyond impressed! My son loved it and wasn't fearful at all once he began interacting with the staff and Dr. Caldwell. The dental hygienist, Debbie, was wonderful with my son! Dr. Caldwell came up with a treatment plan for my son that I feel takes into account my child's needs, as well as best course of treatment for his issues without doing unnecessary work. I would highly recommend this office to anyone seeking a dentist for their child, or any person with special needs.

Dr. Caldwell is one of the BEST pediatric dentist. I started using his services about 16 years ago. He has a great bedside manner and is excellent at his craft. HOWEVER, his office overall gets only 3 stars because his staff can be difficult and even rude most of the time. Interpersonal skills are important in customer service and we are their customers. I would highly recommend Dr. Caldwell if you can deal with his front desk staff.

This office in incredible. My son had to have fillings, the dentist was kind, encouraging, funny, and helped keep him at ease. They are so kind and truly care for each and every one of the kids who walk through their doors.

I wish there were 6 stars! I have a very anxious daughter who has never made it through even a routine cleaning. I heard that Dr Caldwell and staff were great with worried children and I was more than impressed. From the kid-friendly and fun waiting room, to the calming inside environment, to the bag of goodies at the end, the entire experience was seamless. Amanda did a fantastic job with my daughter and I am thrilled to say she did everything they asked without a tear or wimper. Amazing! She can't wait for her next visit to do her x-rays. Thank you so much for your kindness and patience!!

My son is autistic and has never let anyone in his mouth for more than a a few seconds at a time. I was pleasantly surprised how patient these staff members are, and how understanding the dental hygienists are. They worked with my son, worked at HIS pace and took into account his emotions and feelings. I highly recommend this office if you have ASD kiddos.

Dr. Caldwell and his staff are amazing! I have been to 4 dentist in the Sugarland area trying to find someone my kids would be happy with. My daughter had a bad experience at a pedi dentist when she was 3 and at the age of 6 still screams and kicks. I can say I have found our kids dentist. My son, who is almost 3 has a rare problem with his teeth that we just discovered that causes them to get cavities easily. The previous dentist I went to wanted to put 3-4 crowns on his teeth. Concerned I called my uncle who is both a dentist and anesthesiologist, he referred me to Dr Caldwell, he said he is the best and would trust his own grandkids with him. The office made an appointment the same day for a second opinion. The office was fun, my son did not realize he was at a dentist. We loved how there was the Disney channel on in every turn of the clinic, they were fast, and I am always sitting with him. The staff was gentle, loving and kind with my son and I. After examination Dr Caldwell suggested just one crown and they scheduled the appoint the next day. My son had to have conscious sedation and laughing gas and did great with Dr.S who both he and his assistant were amazing with my baby, he was not scared at all. My son did not want to leave after the procedure, instead he asked to go watch Mickey Mouse in their interior waiting room.

Love Dr. Caldwell, love the staff and have always had a wonderful experience however had a horrible experience with the front office this morning. Ms. Missy was rude and snappy as I was trying to reschedule my appointment. Remember customer service, Ms. Missy.

Dr. Caldwell was my dentist as a child, and now I'm bringing my kids to him! He has a wonderful staff! They work with you and your children to make sure you have a pleasant visit and that they aren't scared! They cleaned my 2 year olds teeth while she sat on my lap. Highly recommend!

I was so impressed by this dental practice. Everyone was nice and made me my daughter and I feel very comfortable. All of my questions were answered. My daughter's 1st dental experience was a huge success!

My 5yr old daughter (who is on the Autism Spectrum) has been a patient for one year now with Dr. Caldwell. She has a sincere fear of the dentist office and yelps throughout the entire process once on the bed. I must say that I was very impressed with the patience of not only Dr. Caldwell but his staff. They are always assuring and forthcoming of what to expect. My daughter loves the lobby fish tank and the special prize she gets at the end. We are always welcomed and never treated as a nuisance due to her diagnosis. As a mom of a special needs child, this is so important and made us forget about all the other places we have gone and were not welcomed. My only regret is that I am too old to be a patient (no fair!!)-LOL

They were ready for me very promptly and got started on assessing my problem tooth right away. Within 30 minutes it was like my tooth was brand new. Everyone was very patient and perceptive of my understanding of the procedure and valued my comfort and time. I am glad to have such a caring facility and staff so close to my residence.

Best doctor and staff. I pay extra to go there as they are not in the insurance network. Highly encourage any kids to choose this doctor

My two children love going to the dentist at Dr. Caldwells! He is conservative and never does any treatment that is not needed. His staff is awesome and go above and beyond for the patient and the parent.

Our eight year old son loved it as always. High quality group.
