Langley Empire Candle Review

The said i missed one question to many to work there and some of my answers were right
That they said was wrong

They are a fair candle. The biggest reason for 2 stars is that as it was burning out, the last Tuscany candle that they make, didnt just fizzle out, the jar made a loud pop and the jar shot out very small shards of glass all around the room. Some of those shards shot into my face. Fortunately mome of the glass went into my eyes. I contacted the company through facebook and I have not heard back from them.

I love this candle. The scent is Sugar Cookie and the smell is wonderful and the candle lasts forever! I have bought many expensive candles that only burn about 1/2 way and you have to start pouring the wax off. I have never poured any wax and it has burned down to nothing and is still burning.

Langley empire candle co is toxic pit ! there candles are made with toxic automotive paint chemical's like tinuvin #328 and UV light stabilizer #1285 and paint solvents of all types , I was effected by these chemicals adversely when I worked there

This place is a joke. I was a wic specialist and just say that you have to buy your own tools to do your job. And when there isn't any work because the machine is down or there just isn't any work guess what you got to sweep the intire warehouse for 8 hours. Oh and you only get one break. This place is very unorganized. They can fire you for no reason to.

I purchased the mint pomegranate first at JoAnne's. I bought it because it smelled nice and was on sale for $5. It had a very pleasant arroma and burned at a reasonable rate.

A few weeks later I went back to JoAnn's and purchased three more. This time at a clearance price of $3.50 each.

I see others comparing them to Yankee brand. Yankee candles are wonderful and are hard to beat. The Langley candles are not as good as Yankee but are a wonderful alternative.

I give 4 stars because of the price. While it is a nice candle, I do not believe it's worth the $11.99 retail price.

Terrible quality and terrible customer service. Don't water your time or money on any products made by this company!
They do not care about these bad reviews and won't be doing anything to satisfy their customers.

I've really loved your brick candels but afew months ago I started to notice a change. They no longer have the lasting wonderful smell that they use to. I smell them for maybe couple hours now :( I'll be looking for different brand sorry

Worst candles ever!! The bottom of the jar busted while it was lit and just sitting on my mantle and leaked hot wax all down the mantle and all over the front of my fireplace insert!! I will go back to using yankee candles !!

VERY HAPPY! I'm sad to see these bad reviews. These natural, 14-oz jar candles were on sale at my local Wegmans for 9.99 - for a natural candle that ticks ALL the boxes (wick, fragrance, wax, packaging) it seemed too good to be true! I bought four. The scents and label design are lovely - they'd make a great gift, and I would gladly dish out the retail $15 I saw at Wegmans as a gift for someone. We've only lit the cucumber sage so far, which I'll admit could be stronger. However, we did choose that one first BECAUSE we were a little skeptical! Still nice, though. I'll have to give it another chance and burn it throughout an entire evening.

No consideration or comprehensive instruction for trk drivers who have never been there. Figure it out, no signs,no knowledgeable shipping reps just figure it out.. then walk a quarter mile to check in after asking several floor workers where the shipping office is...i could go on.

DANGEROUS -- DO NOT BUY -- I wish I coild give zero stars -- This candle actually BURST WHILE LIT and melted wax went all over -- thank God the candle went out otherwise our house would have burned to the ground -- customer service was like talking to a rock and they incredibly did nothing to compensate for their inferior product -- been using Yankee forever and we're going right back to them -- never a problem with Yankee

This is a terrible candle! It's supposed to be sugar cookie scented but there is no smell at all. And even worse it leaves black soot everywhere. Ugh!

I tried Tuscany satin wax melts and I just love Soothing Eucalyptus! This is the first time I had purchased your brand and will continue to use this fine product. Keep up the good work

I bought your Pumpkin Spice scented candle, after about 5 minutes of burning it emitted large amounts of black smoke and made my kitchen smell terrible.

I would give these candles negative 5 stars if possible. I left one of their candles in my office for 2 hours to help it smell better. When I returned the candle had been burning in ways I have never experienced before. Now my entire office is covered ceiling to floor with black soot. You can clearly see in the photo the difference in my table from where It was covered by a round object and the soot that has fallen all around it. It will literally require at least a month to clean this soot from my walls, ceiling, electronics and everything else currently damaged by this difficult to clean soot. Do yourself a tremendous favor and stay from this company's product.!!!

Great candles for the price, love the winterberry and spruce candle from Kohl's!

Worse candle ever, scent was okay, but i had to keep lighting the this candle. I just eventually through it out, it was not worth my time.

Company has good quality workers and product I have worked for the company and they have always been good to me so stop by and enjoy the aroma and candles

I bought the Bayberry and Hollyberry 2 pack with beautiful Christmas lids, both had great scent, the red burned down completely. The green only half way..turned them into candy dishes, which I'll use every year!

I purchased a candle here in Lafayette Louisiana at Walgreens I had it lit in my restroom and the glass busted from the Heat on one side the sent was fresh cotton It was my second time burning it I paid 10.00

Spent 10.99 on the Beach Getaway Candle n it won t even stay lit

Got here at 1130 for 1400 appointment. It s now after two and I m still waiting to get loaded. Worst shipper ever

Bought the Large Christmas three scent at Kohls. Cheaper than Yankee Candle and now I know why. There was NO SCENT - IT JUST SMELLED LIKE WAX. I THREW IT AWAY - WASTE OF MONEY !!

I dont know if this is the same company,but I bought some candles from Menards and they say Empire Candle Co ,I hope this is the same candles,theses candles are amazing they smell wonderful, is this the same candle company, they burn completely across,no wax left,these are the best,compared to Goldej Canyon,which is not around anymore,so Ive bought alot of candles from many companies, and these are great,please let me know if this is the same company,cause Ill definitely order some
