I have enjoyed the high tea here. The beautiful weather and view of the valley complete the ambiance. A wedding is going on on an adjacent terrace. This is properly separated from the public terrace. The high tea is tasty. We start with a quiche, then chicken teriyaki and a smoothie. This is followed by the famous tower with hearty and sweet treats. I thought it was definitely worth it.

Restaurant in the higher segment. You can order a menu with one, two, three, four or five courses from the menu. The food tasted great. The dishes are regularly updated on the menu. There was a little lack of service. Perhaps because there was still a private party in a separate section.

The hotel looks beautiful with a view over the forest and Hellendoorn. The restaurant is good and the terrace invites you to sit.
My father wanted to eat here with the whole family for his birthday. A group of 16 people including children. Bringing the dogs was no problem at all. We were assigned a private room where we were completely taken care of. The hospitality, interest, professionalism and service of Jelle were fantastic in one word!

A very nicely located, quiet, clean hotel. Beautiful hiking trails and mountain bike trails in the immediate area. Also a beautiful forest for the dog to run around. Delicious food and friendly staff. The only disadvantage is that we were limited in the areas where the dog was allowed to be, so we were the only ones in the conservatory to eat our dinner and we were given a 'pet-friendly' room from which we had virtually no view.

Had very varying experiences with and at the Uitkijk. It strongly depends on who is the operator of the location. The venue itself is great, we got married there and it was fantastic. However, we have also eaten there a few times it was just not good. Carpaccio almost frozen, menu just not (trying too much to be special, with the execution lagging behind). In addition, we looked away once, when we passed by by bike, we were overcome by a shower, wanted to eat something and were simply sent back into the rain because there was so-called no place.
Recently I was treated to a high tea and that was fine. I had not come back on my own.
