Miracle on 34th Street was a terrific experience. The show was professional in so many ways. The acting was superb and the voices were perfect. Set design was fabulous as well. Well done to the pianist.

Love this theater. I have seen many a great production here. My all time favorites were "FIDDLER ON THE ROOF", and "LES MISERABLES" and "SINGING IN THE RAIN" Which , I believe, were ALL in the same year/season. Seats are uncomfortable and sound isn't always the best, but truthfully I go for the talent, and have never been disappointed. I have to add that I most recently went to 3 performances here. "BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS" "A CHRISTMAS STORY" and. "OLIVER". "OLIVER" was phenomenal, and I enjoyed the other two plays as well. The first more than the latter.

The Lancaster Opera House presents theater at it's best! The very best local talent as well as national level performers take the stage, expertly directed and flawless orchestras provide the accompaniment.

Listen, I went to get my tickets before the show. I was able to get up via elevator, get to the box office, and because they were doing sound checks, not allowed to leave. This is an hour before performance. I told her I was unable to go down stairs. She said it wasn't her problem. At this point, I needed to use the facilities. I asked her point blank if that meant I was now trapped there till the house opened, and she said yes. Handicapped unfriendly, rude, horrible.

I have not been to a playvsince I was a little girl and I took my little girl here for the first time to see Annie...AMAZING! I loved the play and the place iteself was clean with super friendly staff. They also have a little concession stand during the break and souvenirs. For a local opera house this one is great. If visiting or passing through and you have time, heck make time, see one of the plays.

19th century town hall building of architectural interest. Use the ramped elevator entrance if visiting with the mobility challenged to avoid multiple flights of stairs to the opera house.
A pre-show lounge would make it a 5 star!

Always enjoy the plays and other offerings here, Brighton Beach Memoirs was no exception. The actors were very good, including the young students. The lead mother had a very convincing Brooklyn accent (and I'm from Brooklyn myself), and looked and acted like one of my New York cousins.

Went to see my son in a play, and it was my first visit to the theatre, and I was suprised how nice it was. It reminds me of a smaller scale version of Shea's, and you would never know driving by the location. The play was very well done, and all the students did a great job.

This is a cool, little, historical theater which puts on some pretty impressive shows, despite being a smaller venue. There is no bad seat in the house and parking is never a problem. The tickets prices are reasonable and it's always a pleasant experience.

The only reason I rated 3 stars was because there were a lot of stairs however after we got to the theatre we were informed there was an elevator and its not marked very well. It says town hall above the door but there is a sign on the lawn. Just a bit confusing. Other than that was ok

This is always a lovely place. They do well to make a great family atmosphere. I'm always impressed with the productions they put on and I love the intimate ambiance. Very affordable date night or family fun day.

What a beautiful theater! It's old world charm is a lovely and intimate setting. Parking is convenient, the building is a hidden treasure inside and out, and the village was delightful. I look forward to coming to many productions in the future.

A beautifully maintained historic, performing arts, building with charming old-fashioned interiors. We enjoyed the visit and seeing the Caribbean Steel Drum Kids perform an amazing Christmas show!

The staff were plentiful, helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the small theater and was surprised how high up the stage was. The building does have an elevator to be up to code for handicapped patrons.

This jewel of Western N.Y. is a three hundred seat theater and concert hall with a regular schedule of plays, musicals and concerts.
Hidden inside the historic town hall of lancaster this venue has great acoustics and a charming decor.

Awesome little theater! Quality of performance and actors was outstanding. Although the age of the building shows in many ways, it is still up to date on the things that matter. I have some hearing loss in one ear, but the sound was great.
