Felt there were far too staff for tables to be served
Had the steak and was cooked to perfection. Slightly concerned about going here as had been told the prices were expensive for a small meal but was pleasantly surprised. I thought the prices were reasonable and I was filling leaving.
Absolutely delicious, scallops to die for, rib eye amazing .
Visited the restaurant this evening with my husband. The first table we were given was not suitable because it was by a door that was left open and the wind was blowing directly onto where we were seated. The waiter soon moved us to a better table towards the back of the restaurant.
As it is a steak house we both ordered steak, my husband requested well done and I requested medium well. Unfortunately my husbands steak wasn't cooked to his liking and had to be returned as the blood ran out of it when he cut into it.
This was quite off putting and the waitress apologised and took it away to be recooked butterfly style while I continued to eat my meal.
The waitress also came to apologise that they had run out of chips and were having some delivered from another restaurant in Poulton and asked if we would be happy if they replaced them with sweet potato fries which we accepted.
Whilst I enjoyed my meal I did feel put off by the experience especially as it has only just opened.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming although we did think the manager or the lady overlooking the food leaving the kitchen would have spoken to us about the meal.
Maybe this is just teething problems with the new restaurant, so we will probably visit again in a couple of months once it has been established and any teething problems have been ironed out.
Once again a lovely meal and the staff are brilliant nothing is to much trouble cheers and a merryChristmas

Steak was ok but we would describe it as no more than average pub food !
The oil soaked, soggy deep fried onion in batter and the oil soggy sweet potato fries were disgusting and sickly. I was polite at first but after felt i needed to complain to which i was told 'Im sorry to hear that' in a tone that also said 'now be on your way.'
For the money i was charged i expected more of the food and customer service. Very, very very disappointed and will not be returning.

Good food even for vegetarians, fantastic service and an all round great atmosphere for what was a large group. Definitely recommend to others.

Overall dinner was fine. I just want to make you aware I ordered a no alcohol beer and was surprised to see it contains milk, lactose and luckily I'm not lactose intolerant but I am avoiding it. Please review your menus to make sure they're clear for all dietary requirements.

The staff were brilliant but sadly I wasn't warned that the steaks were pre-season ed with lots of salt. I haven't added salt to meat or vegetables for years so was unable to eat it. I was offered another steak and I accepted it but 20 minutes later my husband and two friends had finished their meals and I didn't want to have to eat on my own si cancelled the steak .
Typical M&C. On our visit it looked relatively fresh, recent refurb? maybe? Anyway, great steaks as ever. Nice friendly staff, our waitress had loads of time to chat with our 6yo grandson. Always worth a visit.
First visit to a Miller and Carter. Pleasant experience. Not cheap but we knew that beforehand. Would not hesitate to go again. Knowledgeable staff, don't be shy to ask their recommendations

A lovely afternoon at Miller and Carter our waiter James was brilliant very attentive without being over bearing. The only problem we had was my Sea bass was a little overcooked all our other meals were perfect. We mentioned the fish was overcooked and they gave us a free desert. Will definitely be back soon.
Excellent food. .... lovely restaurant service is excellent I'm just not keen on the whole lettuce !!! with a bit of dressing on the top that you get with your steak it will be better if it was Shredded up a smaller amount and the dressing Mix through it because I couldn't eat it

Brilliant Restaurant. Brilliant Staff. Brilliant food and drink. Always a joy to eat here and the Staff are so helpful and pleasant.....our first choice in LSA although there are plenty of good places to eat....but M & C are head and shoulders above all the others. Well deserved five star rating.

Food was cold and very disappointing after reading the reviews. I told waitress it was cold and She told me to bite it. It was still cold & so were the fries. We even got charged a supplement for the cold Steak Brioch, a bit cheeky don't you think. The whole meal.was spoilt.
Food was spot on, staff were really attentive, place was clean and well decorated, only problem was a family next to us being very loud, kids running around, throwing things, nearly landed on our table a few times, parents didn't seem bothered, that was just our experience, other than that it was really good and will definitely go again
