The quality of this restaurant went down the hill.

I ordered burger and asked specificity to cook it medium rare, well, I got it extra well instead. I was very disappointed. My friends were not impressed with their food as well.

This place got popular and now it became a quantity place instead of quality.

Great, friendly and swift service! Food only needed a little salt and pepper and it was equally exquisite. I save 5 star for a little more extraordinary but if you're in Lambertville, I highly recommend this place. Also, if you're there for your significant other's birthday (like I was with mine), talk to your waiter and you may get a special complementary treat ;-)

The atmosphere at Lambertville Station Restaurant is relaxing and lovely. We dined in the Garden Room loft, next to the canal, with views of beautiful rose bushes, a wooden footbridge, and baby goslings. Our server was exceptionally friendly and attentive. He made sure we were pleased with each dish that arrived to our table. The food was a feast for the eyes just as much as it was for the pallet. Everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and brought to our table at the perfect serving temperature. Having overheard that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, our server brought our candles for us to blow out together. His kind gesture made me a little misty eyed. We look forward to a return visit.

I don't normally leave reviews but after reading Gordon Stein's review I felt compelled. Their rating on here seems a bit artificial as I find it hard to believe everything is so great here after reading reviews on other sites as well. It's a nice view and that is about it. I had the privilege of attending a wedding in Oct. 2017 and everything was great. Until it started. I believe his name is Neil.. he looks like the head server or something was running around like it was his first time doing this I guess? Everything was running late and it just had a rushed feeling to it. The food was very bland and luke-warm and it really just took forever for service and that looked like a disorganized mess to put lightly. I asked what the cooks name was and Doug it turns out he's just a cook at the restaurant.. I figured it would be a good chef with the prices they charge there ($200/plus a head). Most of the staff seemed hard working. And nice view hence the 2 stars.

We stayed here again in the river corner suite and it was NOTHING short of amazing! The room was packed with stunning views, a gorgeous bathtub and beautiful double fireplace. The staff always is so gracious and welcoming! Quinton was wonderful and full of knowledge! Thank you again!!

When booking my reservation by phone, a pleasant male Staff said he recommended a particular room with a great view, especially since the reservation was booked weeks in advance. He gave me the room number and advised I mention his name and room request at check-in. Not only was I snubbed at the front desk by an employed elderly woman, she advised I couldn't get the room that was suggested to me. Why bother to give details and suggestions in the first place?! The room itself and the cleanliness of the facility was almost average. When it comes to customer service, this place is in desperate need of pleasant staff. Some of the employees at the check-in desk gave the impression they were annoyed that they had to help you

Lovely scenic spot with tasty food. Manager on duty should have been less concerned about staff members on cell phones and more concerned about the wildly inappropriate conversations the staff were having near the end of the bar at a un-ignore-able volume.

Andy and Sandy, the very best bartenders my wife and I ever come across, continue their excellence which is the very main reason for our continual visits to the Lambertville Station, And I was there when the doors opened over 30 + years ago. Thanks Andy and Sandy!....

I love this restaurant because they have adventurous items on the menu but they also have alot of safe picks too, making it a great place for different types of people. Also the oysters are amazing and their game menue selections are always changing. I see alot of people coming here for happy hour.

The location and rooms were beautiful. The staff was extremely hospitable. Particularly, Ashley W. Went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and we had a beautiful time. My experience at the hotel and restaurant were both refreshingly impressive!

We had a party of 10 at the Lambertville Station last week. The choice of dinning areas is nice and the food was great. The best part was the service, even though the restaurant was packed our waiter was great. If you want a nice dinning experience, I highly recommend the Lambertville Station.

Wonderful restaurant! Beautiful inside. Amazing views of the canal from dining tables. Our waiter was so friendly, attentive and knew everything about the food and drinks. All of his suggestions were wonderful! Food was delicious! So nice and relaxing for a special occasion. Love the wine bar downstairs also! One other thing... we accidentally dropped a large amount of cash on the floor unknowingly, and the waiter flagged us down before leaving the restaurant to return it! What a kind and honest thing to do! Will definitely return!

The food is always delious and unique. In the winter they sometimes have game meats. Once I had kangeroo. Unfortunately the rations are extremely small and uncomfortable to use. The Sunday brunch is awesome, with a large selection and it overlooks the Robert!

Stayed here on a winter Sunday and it was snowing. It was the perfect place to take your significant other and just relax. The service was spectacular. I spilled coffee on my blazer and they took it and performed laundry service on it in just under 2 hours. The views and the rustic feel was great. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The restaurant food was amazing. Definitely coming back here.

I'm typically a Marriott guy, so that's my frame of reference when staying at any other hotel. Here's how the Lambertville Station Inn stacks up. I was in a King River View Suite:

Cleaniness - on par with any Marriott resort; as clean as they get

Room Functionality - The bed was too close to the wall, making it awkward to get up in the night from that side; the TV was way too small and a mile away on the opposite side of the room from the bed; the desk and the couch were a nice touch; so was the fireplace

Comfort - I slept a puppy.

River View Room - yeah, you can see the river, but it's really more of a parking lot view

Bar - It's not attached to the hotel and it's actually not even affiliated with the hotel; not a big deal unless you want to take a drink back to your room, because you can't

Ice Machine - only one on the first floor; my room was on the third floor; minor annoyance

Ambiance - The hotel was quiet and quaint and romantic.

All in all, I'd put the Lambertville Station Inn right up there with a mid level Marriott. I'd certainly go back.

Unfortunately it's hit or miss. I was really embarrassed last time I talked friends into staying for dinner after visiting the wine cellar. We had the special BBQ and it was horrible. My girl had the salmon off the menu and it was totally dry.

Last time I went I had the Buffalo tomahawk stake. It was out of this world good. But when you dropping 300+ for food for four it better hit every time.

To the management staff please ensure your checking everything before it leaves the kitchen. BBQ should not be dry meats slathered in bottle sauce.

What a cozy place for a rainy and gloomy day after Christmas. It was really just a drinking session we spent there, however we had a few terrific appetizers, including the Margherita pizza, fried calamari and poke tuna. However, my provided moment in time is the two huge shots of Jameson. Can't wait to revisit.

Once again, a wonderful meal! Saturday night, oysters, steamed clams, fresh halibut, rack of lamb and chocolate passion cake. the wine selection is amazing. Everything was excellent, service (Deborah) was professional, pleasant and personable. This has become our go-to place as it is consistently above par on everything. We had asked for a table by the window and were very fortunate to get one. Along with the great food, the people-watching was a hoot. The only thing wrong with this place is that it has gotten popular--make reservations! We will be back....

We stopped in and fell in love. The food, atmosphere, staff, parking and bathrooms excellent. One word of advice, you pay to park. Show the ticket and it comes off your tab, cash only. Loved this place.
