The wine cellar is well-furnished, with a general charming and serene atmosphere. At certain times there is somewhat if a sommelier who is friendly and able to provide information about the selections and serves you. The prices are not bad and it's a great place to relax if you can get a spot down there! The bar is not as nice but its not bad, a bit tight if you have more than two or three people in your party. If you can't get a spot in the cellar I would suggest crossing the bridge into new hope where the bar scene is quite a bit more spacious and lively.

Have dined here numerous times. Called earlier to make reservation but was sent to voice mail. Left message and phone number for dinner reservation. When got here, was told it was full. Then asked why they couldn t have called to let me know ahead of the time, the hostess simply said they DO NOT check their messages.

Absolutely speechless. They screwed up our reservation, and only booked us for one night instead of the requested two. Hunter, at the front desk did not show the least bit of remorse. Did absolutely nothing to try to accommodate us aside from calling another hotel, then hang up and say, " you can call this place, I think they have a room for you."
Oh! He did try to, not so subtly, blame us for their huge mistake. (A note to the Owner/Management - please do yourself a favor and don't pull another "Hunter" by responding to this review by saying," This is why it's so important you look over your confirmation email very very closely." We heard that one already)
No service recovery, no please come back tonight and have a drink on us, no "please stay at least the one night with us we'll reduce the room rate", nada, zilch, nothin'
Thanks for ruining our first weekend away together in over a year, Hunter!! (Oh, and he's the manager...Good lord...)
(I never review anything online, so this should say something about how bad this experience was...)
Tip: If you're going to risk going here, don't book directly, go through a booking site of some sort.

Fantastic food and service. Beautiful historical building. Clean and a very warm place to dine with family and friends. Our server Mitch was exemplary! Never before have I experienced such genuine and sincere customer service. Honestly I am coming back here solely for this young man! If I could leave more than 5 stars I would in a heartbeat. This is my new favorite go to place for dining.

We come here at least once a year for dinner. We got married in New Hope in 2014, and the night before our wedding we escaped for a few hours and came here for a cheese plate and wine. We've been repeating the tradition of getting a cheese plate and wine (and dinner) ever since. Every time we are treated with excitement for our new tradition, and plan to come back for as long as we can. Thank you for making our anniversaries special. Don't skip the cheese plate, it's the best we have had! Great wine selection and outstanding food, you won't be dissatisfied here.

Very delicious lunch! My friend & I shared a flat bread, & we each had the classic Caesar salad. Very plentiful! We also had a drink that was sweet & refreshing. Their outdoor set up was perfect, shady, lots of flowers, no one near you. Our waitress was super. Check this place out, cause its the perfect oasis.

Second time here and once again had a great experience. The service was timely, friendly and informative. The Gouda bites (special) were addicting, oysters were fresh and tasty, lobster and crab bisque was top-notch, and our entrees (bacon wrapped meatloaf and roast pork sandwich) were perfect. Not to mention the craft selection was a breath of fresh air from the usual go-to's that most restaurants have, and cocktails were skillfully made. Definitely looking forward to a third visit soon!

The food here was good but not great. The halibut was well seasoned but a bit dry. Cauliflower was the star of the dish. My wife's pink pepper pork was delicious but the potatoes were just ok. If the fish wasn't overcooked and the potatoes had some more seasoning I would have given it 5 stars. The service was really good. The wine was excellent. The building is has a lot of character. We loved the outside dining area.

Went there for drinks and appetizers around 7pm. Bar was very busy- we sat at wine cellar area on the left side. Bar tender seemed very busy and did not have much time for us. We ordered wine, beer, and food - the baked brie. The food was well made and presented.

Looking for a venue that could accommodate 50-60 guest and the Inn has a beautiful room overlooking the river. The price seemed reasonable. The main negatives are that they won't do a Saturday as there is a 125 guest minimum on that night, and Sunday can't start until 5 PM

A long over due rating for the Lambertville Station Inn. Our son was married there in October 2020 and it was truly a dream wedding for the couple even during the pandemic. Patricia and Neil went above and beyond to make the entire weekend a perfect experience. 90 guests attended in the lower level open air space which is an incredible venue which opens to the River. All felt save and welcome. Great food, music, family and friends in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend it as a wedding venue especially during any Covid threat.

Update 05/18/2021:
Today we had lunch here again. My friends ordered their favorite Lunch Scallops and Shrimps, and I ordered Lobster Roll again. Yet somehow it didn t impress me as much as last time. When I compared the two photos, I found out that this time there s too much mayonnaise but less lobster meat. Maybe it came from different chefs? For this reason, I am taking one star out.
03/30/2021
Today is a beautiful sunny day. I took a 8.3-mile hike at the PA/NJ Delaware River Loop Trail from Lambertville to Stockton-Centre Bridge-New Hope-Lambertville with some friends.
After that, we came to this restaurant to relax and treat ourselves with some good food. Turned out that everything was very delicious. My Lobster Roll has a lot of chunk lobster meat and fresh lettuce. The fried calamari and scallop & shrimp lobster rice my friends ordered were very yummy too.
It was very busy at noontime. Prepare to wait on line for a little bit but it s definitely worth the wait.
This review is re: the parking for L'ville Station...
This review is re: the parking for L'ville Station restaurant/inn.
On Aug 2 my husband & I attended the L'ville fireworks &, as we did for their July 5 fireworks, decided to park in the L'ville Station parking lot. Now, to be clear from the outset, we understand perfectly that they have the right to set their rates at whatever fee they feel is appropriate, esp'ly when their lot is used for a purpose other than patronizing their restaurant/inn. What we objected to was that they had NOTHING posted re: the cost, effectively allowing them to arbitrarily charge anything, & were treated v rudely besides. 2 young girls asked if we were there for the restaurant. When we said no, they charged us $20 when in fact we'd paid $10 the previous month! We questioned rate difference. The 1st girl said it was b/c it was 7pm. We said we arrived the same time last month but paid less! Then she changed her story & said b/c it was the wkend. We said it was the same day last month. We persisted in asking why the price was different this time, & she changed her story again & said b/c it's the last fireworks of the season! To which we said, "You price gouge for that?!" It reminded us of the film "Baby Boom" when Diane Keaton was asked how much her baby applesauce cost &, unprepared, she initially said "$2.50 a jar", then seeing their interest immediately changed it to "$3.50, $4.50, no I mean it's $5.50 a jar!" As such, the L'ville Station could charge anything arbitrarily, & w/o a sign indicating the rates, ppl were unable to make an informed decision whether to park there or not. The 1st girl then said we could park in a church lot a few blocks away IF there were still spaces. By then we knew it was too late to get any spot if we left their lot. We made a final attempt saying, "You still haven't explained why the price has changed when all other factors are the same as last month", to which the 2nd girl w/long dark hair became v snotty & snapped as she walked away dismissively, "Well it's the price now so that's that!" Such rude & abusive treatment was offensive, when we'd posed our questions as patiently as we could. Exasperated, we chose to park there, as a line of waiting cars had formed behind us, & paid the $20.
After parking I went into the restaurant & asked for the manager. He came out & politely listened to what had happened & my asking why there was nothing posted delineating the parking fees & rate changes, + the rude behavior of the 2nd girl. I told him when we pay $20 dollars & ask "reasonable" questions that get no satisfactory answers, we don't expect to be treated abusively. He agreed & explained that the price changed at 7pm from $10 to $20, & that in July we must have arrived just under the wire, therefore paying only $10. I explained we arrived the same time both months, & again stressed the snotty response we got from the 2nd girl. He agreed it was unacceptable & promised he'd address it w/her. I said I hoped he would, as we'd been long time patrons of the restaurant but this incident cast a v dark shadow on them, particularly in that they were effectively victimizing ppl by not providing posted parking fee notification.
We've no way of knowing whether the mgr did or didn't address our complaint w/the 2nd girl. But we're writing this review b/c others need to know for future reference to *AVOID* the L'ville Station's lot if they're in town for any event other than patronizing their restaurant/inn. Any establishment that's unwilling to respect the rights of ppl by posting clearly visible parking rates for special events invariably ends up taking advantage of them. There are indeed other parking options in L'ville & we strongly recommend researching them in advance (which we'll now do in the future) rather than allowing yourself to be price-gouged. Better yet, in the case of the summer fireworks, cross the bridge into New Hope, park in 1 of their public lots where rates are clearly posted, & watch the fireworks from there.
