LaMalfa Party Center Review

Would not recommend! I attended a wedding ceremony and reception for a close friend over the weekend. The ceremony was rushed due to a change that was done by the owner to accommodate a friends event. The bride and groom were not notified of the change! The bridal party noticed when they got there. Guests from another party were coming into the reception and enjoying food and drinks that they were NOT invited to!! The staff at LaMalfa did not do anything! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION FOR A WEDDING!!!

Our Gyro Organization had a 3 day Conference with 70 attending a final Saturday night beautiful dinner.

First the staff starting with Renee Cruz are very reactive, think way ahead of most planners and give first class results, making our event enjoyable for even the planners.

Working with Marti Lamalfa is wonderful and I experienced effortless event enhancing decisions that were efficiently made without walls of objections to climb over like other convention choices give you.

Without exception our group raved about the food quality, the beautiful event and meal room setups, and the staff.

A huge benefit to a LAMALFA event, is the adjoining hotel with large suites instead of little hotel rooms. This is a group real WOW factor.

A feature not to miss highlighting is the Lamalfa Happy Hour Hospitality area with great bartenders, hot snacks, and premium Liquor choices. This is a very high quality feature that provides guests a top end restaurant like area to relax, easy access to all parts of the complex and eliminates any reason to think you want to plan and your own separate hospitality room.

Lamalfa does it all in great fashion.

We will have many future events at anything that Marti Lamalfa is connected to.

I attended a Wedding and Reception 6/22/19. From start to finish every detail was well taken care of. The food , appetizers too dinner were scrumptious and the Staff were fantastic ! I highly recommend Lamalfa !

We have a great, memorable time every time! Especially when we go with a group of friends. The rooms are large & spacious. Impeccably decorated. Jacuzzi rooms are so hard to leave. Finest large pillows and bedding wrap you in the best rest you will ever get at any other hotel. Delicious, Amazing Choices for the Best Continental Breakfast. Love the Pool. Marty is the the most gracious & hilarious host. We appreciate you so much!

What an absolutely excellent venue to host a wedding! I don't think I have ever met a person like Marty La Malfa who is as good at what he does for a living, in any business field, as he is. The entire staff is very well trained and professional in all aspects.

It was very organized and so pretty. My husband and I went to a wedding there.

The experience here was okay. I did like the venue, very spacious. However we went on Easter and I very much regret going, will be the last time. There were lots of food options but too much for the sternos to try to keep warm so we had lukewarm to cold food. And I would have thought the tables would have had water or cups on them, but you had to go to the bar to be served.

All that said I would like to check out sometime their happy hour, I imagine serving fresh to order food it would be better quality.

I had my wedding at this venue. Overall, it was a nice event however, some of the details that I insisted on w/ the wedding planner did not pan out. I requested that I had a "pink" signature drink and informed the wedding planner. They said that they would do it no issue. Well, at the event, they didn't have the drink that I requested and did not even take the time out to follow the receipe that I had provided for the drink. I also asked for pink sanding sugar on my glass which they did not have. They instead used vodka and red food coloring for this drink. They obviously didn't really care that I requested it and it was a special evening for me. The food was good and the service was OK it was just the details that I went over w/ Marty Lamalfa were not seen to fruition and I will always remember that. Also, I had a cake topper that should have went on the cake. Obviously, the staff did not know what to do w/ it so they put it by the signing book. I wish that someone would have confirmed details w/ me that they were unsure about. In the future, if you choose this place, make sure you go over the details w/ a fine tooth comb w/ Marty Lamalfa ....otherwise they will play you.

The food is amazing! We've gone for a few holidays now and it's worth it! They always think of extras for the kids to do while the parents are eating and talking. I do wish they would keep the face painting limited to children because each time my son has missed out because the line is too long with older kids/adult women wanting their own make up done.

Nice wedding venue, but very busy, expect another wedding going on at same time as yours

My son and daughter chose the La Malfa Centre for their wedding due to location, convenience and the attached Holiday Inn Express. The planning sessions with Mr. La Malfa Sr. and Marty were geared toward the bride and that made things so easy to arrange and set up. Marty and Jessica handled every detail and with the additions of beads, chair covers, sashes and upgrades at the last minute, everything was still flawless. Tricia the Ballroom Manager and the servers along with Danny and Dave the bartenders gave us a great experience and made the day the best we could hope for. The food was excellent and everyone commented on the "home cooked" flavor and it all came out piping hot. Thanks Mike and Brandon! The manager at La Malfa Holiday Inn Express dealt with all the reservations, gift bags and requests and she did a stellar job. All the staff was very polite and professional and treated me and my family very nice. Our overall experience at this facility was "EXCELLENT"! My next wedding will obviously be at La Malfa. Thanks again for a great experience....it made the day extra special!

New years eve party was sub par. Food was average, eclairs were spoiled, and they played all older music with nothing new for the younger generation. Waste of money unfortunately.

NYE was elegant and a great DJ! It was a fun night!

Had a nice New Year's Eve party with family.
Seating was choas to start the evening, tables were over booked. Loved the band and DJ. Food was ok, we made some new friends at our large table.

I recently hosted a very large event for professionals at LaMalfa. Kudos to LaMalfa for bringing on Erica and Renee! They helped me at every turn. If I had a problem...they solved it. Thumbs up...way up!

Always amazing. We are here for a benefit tonight and they did a wonderful job.

La Malfa was our venue for the 45th RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) Volunteer Recognition. It went off flawlessly thanks to Renee Cruz; Executive Assistant and Sales Consultant, who was there to make sure that everything went smoothly. You are in good hands for sure if she is part of it. The senior citizens of Lake County also seemed to be truly impressed! Thank you Renee and Thank you LaMalfa for another job well done!

Visited for new years eve. Beautiful place. Excellent food, and wait staff.

Jake was awesome and the whole staff made this the best hotel we ever stayed at 5 stars very highly recommended

Good was horrible, no valet parking, decor looks worn.

My husband and I just had our wedding reception at LaMalfa yesterday 2/1/2020. Everything was perfect. Robin and Stephan were honestly the two best planners to work with. I just adore them both. Thank you for everything. Food was delicious. Bartenders were awesome as was the rest of the staff. We stayed in the hotel and Gina , Mary and one other lady were awesome. All the hotel staff were very friendly with the exception of one guy. He was very rude and had really bad customer service. Other than the one man from the hotel everyone was just awesome and very friendly . I would definitely recommend LaMalfa. Thank you Marty & Staff.

Place was nice and food was ok. Other then that it's was trash. We had the second best package. No "bottle service" at bridal table and VIP tables. The cake wasn't cut till 45 min till we had to leave. The VIP tables were served last. And the bridal table was not even bussed till 9:30 thats 1.5 hours after dinner was done. They didn't fulfill the package we bought. The only reason we went with them is because we wanted to have a nice place. Just really dissatisfied that they dropped the ball on our wedding day.

Hi I'm Nancy my husband and I had a amazing experience at their hotel and Thanksgiving dinner the food was fabulous they treated us like family love them and we recommend them to everyone
