Went there to play tennis. The courts are not up to the mark. Looks synthetic but it's really just paint over cement.

This hotel deserve 5 start rating because hear we get good service.

One of the best resort of cancona, it's really 7 Star property , but one thing I would like to maintained properly is old classy but maintenance of property is so bad. Furniture is broked, filthy smells in rooms, dirty room's , torned bedsheets, torned mattresses, spa sheets we're filthy , spa was so bad, room t a heater was dirty , no battery inntv remote , housekeeping is so bad , service is pathetic food served in cancona cafe is pathetic I ordered Sandwich with pita bread food was pathetic , please rectify all these issues , reception is so dull loos like they are new even security doens't know anything . Please work on it otherwise property is so cool thanks housekeeping manager meghna and engineer atish ingle keep it up guys

Never alert about pork product.
No washing in toilet only tissues and flush

Great hospitality. The beach is a 5 minute walk. The elevators were not working because of which older guests from our group living on higher floors had problems.

Excellent place to visit if you can afford it. Be on the lookout for a good deal which you can get only at a short notice. Rooms are big and well laid out. The swimming pool with bar counter is unique. For sports lovers there are two tennis courts, a squash court and table tennis table; all in good condition. The food is ok but too expensive. However, there are good options for eating just outside the gate. Do not miss out the steam bath and jacuzzi as there is no extra charge for it. It has a one kilometer long exclusive clean beach with a small hillock at both ends. Adventurous tourists can climb up and get a good view of beach on the other side.

Good location , spacious rooms , the only let down is their service which is very slow .

Awesome place...Good food at sirocco and Canacona restaurant. Service at corsta beach shack/restro is poor...N food was too oily when we had it.
Overall a great location , property and service. All black T-shirt guys deliver amazing service. That add the special touch to place

The rajabaga beach has access ONLY through lalit that makes it awesome, less crowded. Well maintained, clean, safe , beautiful, serene.

The property is good from outward appearance. However, as you enter your rooms, a humidity stench welcomes you. If that was not enough, the lighting in rooms, as well as the corridor is ranging between morose and eerie. The staff is thoroughly unprofessional, and most chaps are rookies, not even the under training variety, who don't know how to talk to guests. They will visibly scurry off into the various corridors of the hotel of they see you approaching them for any query. The management, when spoken to about these observations do not seem to mind it, and takes these observations by the guests in thier strides, hardly bothering to do anything to rectify the same. The hotel is spread over some area with rooms along a number of poorly marked corridors, where you can easily get lost. On one occasion, I took about 15 min to reach my room from the central restaurant. The hotel has a beach, however no infrastructure is provided there for the comfort of the guests. There are few chairs kept by a local coconut vendor, on which you can sit only if you order for the same. Else, he would promptly request you to get up! The food is very average. Nothing to look forward to. The rooms are akin to those found in old Dak Bunglows. Broken electrical switches, old and smelly linen, unclean and unkept rooms are things that you should be ready to expect. Overall, a nightmare. Would urge all not to waste their time, money and effort here.

For the Resort 5 star and staff it's also 5 star. Then what went wrong?......... Its only because Customers who comes from all over India or foreign country experience hard to stay here only because of their taxi union rudeness. They can't allow other taxi to take customers once they drop over there. My friend from Mumbai book a cab from calangute for his tour. First day they take north Goa tour and second day they went Gokarna and third day it's Lalit Resort. For first two days they've not face any problems for cab but at Lalit Resort the same cab is not allowed for their pick up next day. So my friend paid Rs. 500/ for Resort taxi for 3 km and to continue their journey with earlier cab. What a bad experience.

Property is really good. Very beautiful rooms, swimming pool, clean beach. It also has gym, spa and indoor games.. food is also good. One thing which disappointed me was staff behaviour which was unexpected. The staff really need to be kind and gentle rather then being rude. A must go property .

Extremely unsafe - don't travel with family or kids . If you do ; then take care of all your stuff and kids all the time . Your stuff can be stolen any place in the property .
My phone was frisked right in middle of their restaurant and the hotel was least apologetic about it . Loss of guests stuff seemed regular affair for them .

It's fantastic place by the beach with Portuguese architecture. Loved the food & hospitality. The shack by the beach is worth the stay. Will definitely visit again

I celebrated new year 2019 it was such an amazing experience they have their own private beach a neat and clean a must visit

Went for lunch at Lalit....only 3 tables were occupied with all crows flying above our table and food...no protection against crows...food preparing took a very long time....later had a view of the resort which is very nice property liked that part of Lalit....with a road going to Galibag beach...enjoyed it...

It's a 5 star resort, so no need for any comments on hospitality. It has a quite a big private beach, golf course which is a huge 9 hole golf course, huge rooms and very tasty indoor buffet options along with regular options available, huge swimming pool with swimming pool bar, kids zone with lots of activities for kids, indoor games like tt, squash, badminton,etc.Personally this resort is value for money at 10k/day in my opinion.10-15 min drive from palolem beach.

Sprawling property with large golf course and a beautiful beach. The reception staff sucks big time and you don't even feel welcome to this place. Restaurant staff is next level down due to their attitude, I think the staff in road side hotel is better than restaurant staff. I don't think if I would recommend to anybody.

Very spacious property. Very good landscape. Connecting the beach. Very well maintained golf course. Rooms are very spacious. Has plenty of space around and an attached balcony.
The check in and check out process is a little chaotic given the number of rooms they have. Got to have patience for checking in and out during morning hours.

This place has clearly seen better times. This is one of the biggest hotels in Goa and was the best 5 star hotels of Goa under the InterContinental brand. The property has become run down under the brand Lalit . The hotel needs a lot of maintenance and up keep. The staff proudly tells guest that the hotel goes under maintenance and up keep work for the visit of their CMD.
I hope that the CMDs office is reading this and has the good fortune of realising that guest should be given priority over the CMD.
