Like the front office staff help us with the rooms especially Mr Ankur, Kushagraa, Ms Diksha Mehta, Ms Diksha Khattri, Pooja, Mayank, Priyank , Rohit was very sweet and very helpfull. Love the atmosphere and staff was cooperative from the entrance of the hotel till the checkout was very smooth. Really enjoyed the stay. One of the best experiences

One star less... Because it is too far away from all the usual haunts in Goa. The property is one of the best. The pool is amazing. Beach is good. Food is good. The staff is respectful, helpful and resourceful.

This was one of the best stays I've had in a luxury resort. It is located in a very remote area so you can't really go out anywhere but if planning to stay for 3-4 days, you won't get bored here. The structure is visibly quite old. But overall property is quite beautiful and well maintained.
It has beautiful private beach and huge golf ground. And also a sports complex with options for badminton, tennis, TT and squash. The spa is decent. so is the pool. The pool bar is quite nice and they have hokka too.
We had food at both the restaurants and it was quite scrumptious.
Overall really nothing to complain about. When you're there try to visit one of the villas. You probably won't be able to afford to stay in one of those but you certainly won't regret the inside view ;)

Through this resort only we can go to Rajbagh beach..To see this a big resort ..With ambient rooms ..And built in a classic antique model.with lots of golf area and followed by there private beach ...Which is accessed by public too

Ala has a wonderful experience. The last three days were the best of life. The reception at the hotel, the rooms, the pool, the beach, the sports complex all got more than expected ...

The place and stay is good - their private beach is great, but the service is pretty bad. You have to call / ask for things multiple times, and keep following up. The sad part is they say that the room is far and hence we're getting late. Had much more expectations from a Brand like The Lalit.

Very Very disappointed.. felt like I have been cheated.. first the whole experience of making reservation was very bad, I asked if they have any special , they told me they will give me a very good rate and an upgrade. I did the booking. When I got the confirmation email , there was link to the 20%off on F&B I was like wow !! That's great.. when I did the check in the welcome experience was poor, I ask for my upgrade they said sorry the hotel is fully booked so I can't have that, then I asked how I can get 20% off on F&B as mentioned in the flier again I was told ai can't have that either because I did not book the room via online .
The room which is give looks very old . Mini bar fridge not working and smelling, the coffee cup is dirty..

Very beautiful property spread across 85 acres but very far from airport. It's around 1:30 mins away.
The rooms are very comfy and luxurious. Staff very friendly and cooperative.

Heard great reviews before visiting here. But it was not worth the hype. Breakfast buffet had limited choices and repetitive. One of the most unimpressive breakfast buffet I ever had in a 5 star hotel. Service was terrible. We got billed twice for the soft drinks we had from the mini bar. Usually we don't check the bill but thankfully we did today. It's not about the money, it's about professionalism and service. We waited around 15 mins for them to verify it. Still they had the attitude that we were intentionally cheating them.
Not a good place to visit during off season. Don't know about peak season though. Never ever visiting again.

The resort was once a five star, go here only if you are getting a good deal

A lovely property which is very well maintained and located right next to the Rajbaga Beach. The service is very friendly, helpful and respectful. The food was excellent... It was a pleasure to eat super soft idlis, nice dosas with chutney in Goa! Their kitchens use their own produce and cook fresh food. The beach is open for public , and is very serene and beautiful. The hotel has a vittal temple which is also open to public and the songs from the temple wafting in the air early morning added to the serenity and peaceful experience.

Frustrated with LALIT Goa hotel and the staff. No senior managers in the hotel. No responsibility taken by staff. We had booked 3 rooms at very high rates . I had requested for early check in. They gave only one room that too without AC. Even tea coffee is denied. if you need a Rs.2 coffee sachet it is not given stating that it cannot be given. We called the operator and asked for the duty manager no one was available for 2 to 3 hours. It seems we paid money for 3 rooms ... But only for sitting in the non AC lobby with a 37degree temperature....
Never suggest this hotel....totally frustrated.....had taken a holiday for resting and having a break....but we were on high fire first for room then for tea coffee then for speaking with the management then sorting for other two rooms......

The Lalit chain charged my credit card double almost 2 months ago, but customer service stopped responding after I sent them the bank state ment. It is a terrible experience and I would NEVER ever book Lalit again. I heard they regularly trick at the check out (charging wrong currency on purpose) -> be careful! Or just book a different hotel which is serious and has a functioning customer service.

Surely value for money ... Plus the staff is really nice .. enjoyed it !!!

5 star for this five star hotel is totally worth. It's almost 60km away from the Goa airport, hotel provides u transport and to and fro. For the amazing scenic beauties it offer, the distance is what u can just forget about. It's in South Goa nd the well maintained private beach is all at your command. Enjoyed the stay tooooo very much!!

We had buffet breakfast and it had large number of variety. Main attraction is definitely swimming pool and their private beach. The private beach is clean and clear beautiful. You can spend your entire evening here. It was our 5th anniversary so they make spacial arrangements..... Many thanks to The Lalit

BEST Property in South Goa. 85 Acres of well maintained awesome.
ONLY go here if you want to relax, and unwind. Not too many avenues to party hard.
The beach is basically for the hotel guests only, the shack restaurant at the beach is awesome we ate there pretty much every day spending hours.
The pool area is huge and very well managed, the food offering on the pool side can be improved.
there is Golf, Tennis, Snooker, watersports, dolphin trips etc.
Try the Pizza place just outside the door.
Must name a few people who made our stay memorable and ensured we will come again.
Sudhir, Atul (Corta's), Atul (Poolside), Vivek Dessai (Trainer at the Gym). These guys really went above and beyond to do things they didn't have to.

Very Good sprawling resort property with golf course, private beach access and excellent beach views and facilities. We stayed in king suite room last week which was very spacious. The thing that deteriorates the guest experience is room upkeep and its cleanliness. Looks like rooms haven't being renovated since the property was built. Worst part of Lalit is the hotel staff who are totally untrained ,indifferent, unprofessional and inept at handling the guests. Their language and mannerisms are like a 1-2 star hotel. Worst of all the room phone did not work and even when it worked the reception or housekeeping staff will never bother to pickup. It was very frustrating at times. I think the current management is not serious to run the hotel. If will be much better it it gets handed over to the professional hotel chains like Taj, IHG, Radisson, Oberoi, etc.

Spread over 50+ acres of land, huge private access to the beach, large size cozy rooms with good variety of Buffet Breakfast. This resort has 2 or 3 fine dine restaurants. It also has a very nice gym and Spa centre.

Shame on the Lalit in Goa. A hotel of this stature dares to disrespect the state of Goa by dumping its waste illegally and irresponsibly in our forests in South Goa. Clean up your mess Lalit.

It was ok because you feel a royal feel when you enter at the hotel staffs are supportive and services are really quick.
Main priority to go here is that it have its own private beach where you will feel realxed as you dont find any kind of chaos and noisy croud over there.
And the best part beach is properly tooked care by the hotel staff and is cleaned after every certain time so its also a non pollutic beach too

Beautiful golf course and hotel right by the beach. You can walk in and use the facilities but prices are about 7 times what you'll pay outside. If you want a 5 star experience its worth it.

Awesome.. but most expensive place I visited in Goa.. more you spend the more you live like a king..

Pathetic .I went with hdfc mutual fund for conference. My observations Gala dinner baked vegetable had cauli flower another vegetable was cauliflower methi .Biryani had big florets of cauliflower .As if only cauliflower was available in the market. Crispy vegetables were cut so small it was very inconvenient to take them with toothpick. In the morning breakfast no spoons or knives were laid to apply Jam or marmalade at the counter. Have you ever heard chocolate sauce being served with pista or butter scotch icecream? I think the chef needs training of what goes with what.In room tea and sugar sachets were present. But no milk powder as if everybody likes to drink black tea. I asked creamer from in dining they supplied it after 2 hours thinking I would like to have tea only once they supply creamer.Menu combinations were bad .Dal makhani was served at dinner as well as next morning lunch.Quite possible left over of previous night would have served.Supposedly 5 star but nothing like a 5 star class

Amazing place. The cool and calmness of this place totally awesomely awesome. It's a very huge property around 106 acres. Too good people at South Goa also a very good hospitality of the guest. The welcome drink named kokam served by them upon entering was just delicious. Food is also nice. The pool is fabulous. The ambience of the place was totally to fell in love with the resort. It's a beautiful one.
