Such a lovely boutique! Each gown it completely unique and represents the NYC bride to a T. The experience in the boutique is so wonderful, they are knowledgeable about all the fits, fabrics and how to perfect every detail to the individual. Sathya and Heather are amazing and have really thought of every detail. Not only is their collection gorgeous and expertly crafted, they really care about their brides being satisfied with the final product. As soon as I walked in the door, they made me feel so relaxed and offered me refreshments. I tried on a bunch of things and they were willing to do adjustments on a number of them, which ultimately helped me figure out what I want. They are pros! I never pictured myself in a white dress. The thought of shopping for my own wedding dress made me want to hide until I found Lakum!

Lakum made a bridal cynic like myself fall in love with (many) white dresses in a way that I didn t think was possible. And I know it s just a dress... but I felt exactly like myself on my wedding day. Their vision is so unique and special, unlike anything that's out there in the bridal market today. I loved having Lakum be part of my celebration, and I highly recommend them to fellow modern brides!

Lakum is the place to go if you are looking for the perfect dress and an amazing, very personalized experience. Sathya and Heather could not be any more accommodating and they truly make you feel like the most special bride on the planet. They're so friendly and knowledgeable about what they have to offer. A few of my favorite things about my experience were: the level of attention they gave me during my appointment which by the way has no time limit so you're not being rushed, the gorgeous space they provide, the beautiful custom fabrics made of rich silks and textures and the list goes on! I made 2 new friends in Brooklyn and you will too if you work with them.

I LOOOVE LAKUM!! The whole experience from start to finish was so incredible! I felt absolutely amazing in their dress at my rehearsal dinner!!! I had the most wonderful time at their studio trying on dresses for my rehearsal dinner. Their studio is so cute, chill, cool and intimate, they really take the time to get to know you and what you are looking for. It's hard to chose one outfit because everything is so unique and beautiful. You can tell they really truly care about their clients and want you to have the best experience and product you could possibly get. I only wish I would have found them when I was wedding dress shopping but so grateful I was able to wear them for my rehearsal dinner. I can not recommend them enough! Thank you Lakum!!

I absolutely loved my experience at Lakum. Heather and Sathya were kind, compassionate, super accommodating and felt like old friends. Their clothing is beautifully made, of the highest quality and they make sure each piece fits perfectly. I couldn't recommend Lakum Bridal more.

Never actually went inside, so can't tell you about customer service, but the dresses are hand-made, And they're GORGEOUS!! The atmosphere is like hanging in a beautiful Victorian house. They have something for everyone. I could only wish to get a dress from here one day!

Working with Lakum to find my wedding dress was a DREAM. Their designs are very unique and unlike anything you will find. After being tired of seeing the same dresses in every bridal shop, finding Lakum was like a breath of fresh air. Their style suited mine perfectly and I found my dream dress. When the time came to find my wedding dress, I was so overwhelmed that I decided to hit Instagram for inspiration. There I stumbled upon a dress I just had to have and voila enter Lakum. I called right away to inquire about the dress, and when I learned that each appointment is a private session, I wasted no time booking their first available. From the moment I stepped into the beautiful Lakum boutique, I felt like an old friend. The entire experience was exceptional. I can't say enough about their attention to detail and extra touches to make the visit very intimate and personal. The collection is exquisite, Sathya and Heather provide the best service I have ever encountered (and I work in the industry). I honestly had not intended on picking "the dress" when I visited Lakum, but after meeting with the ladies and trying on their gorgeous pieces, I had no desire to look any further. Once we finalized the custom details for my dress the process flowed so smoothly, it was by far the easiest part of wedding planning. My dress arrived with plenty of time for last minute alterations and prep for transporting the dress to Texas for the wedding, which the Lakum team handled with zero hiccups. Gorgeous options for your wedding weekend!! Heather and Sathya are truly talented and go above and beyond in every way. The dresses are even more amazing in person with an incredibly beautiful attention to detail. These ladies really get today's bride and that not all body types nor personally types are made for the same type of gown. Their retail space is super chic and I had a blast when I was there. So great to have an actual fun experience- would highly recommend to anyone!!!!

Not a single detail missed and a joy from beginning to end. Sathya and Heather made what could be a stressful experience into one that was comforting, easeful and nothing short of perfect. I'm so happy to know these women and their amazing work.

-They offer Le Croix during appointments and champagne when you buy and the cupcake platter in the store is an added bonus!
-They are warm, supportive, and know how to silence opinionated family members...always helpful :)
-They do a lot of the customization during the appointment so any alterations are seamless! This is an added bonus of working directly with the designer
-The collection is made of rich silks and the textures are incredible! LOVE THEM!
