I had search around for a particular Browning handgun Bass Pro had it in stock Lakota did not have it in stock but I was able to order it off their website and saved $178 over Bass Pro shops price and had it in 2 days. Their ammo prices are the same as Walmart picked up a couple boxes of self defense ammo. The store is very clean and well stocked my wife loved it.
Exceptional Service bought a Browning Safe over 1 year ago was looking for drawers. Mandy contacted me and let me know they are now available. She ordered them and even put them together for me.
Great experience first time Gun buyer the staff was very informative I had a gun I was interested in p365 Sas with safety which they had a $100 cheaper than anyone else very happy with the service I received.
As a older female I felt more comfortable dealing with this shop the sales rep Mandy spent about a hour with me showing me different types of handguns. I was really feeling overwhelmed. I never shot a hand gun before she explained the features and benefits of each of the handguns was very sensitive of my concerns no pressure I did not buy anything she encouraged me to take a class either with them or down the street with OGC. I will be back to make my purchase very beautiful store and knowledgeable patient staff.
Came in a few minutes before close had a lot of questions about firearm ownership. Mandy was amazing she showed me a few guns made sure I could rack them gave me the pros and cons of each gun. They have the largest selection and best prices compared to the gun stores In the area . After about 2 hours I settled on the perfect firearm for me. The thing I like about this experience she listened to my wants and needs and was sensitive to my budget. Can t wait to take their Beginners Pistol Class to get my CCW Permit before all the craziness starts.

Been hearing a lot about this shop from my son's boy scout leader. I walked in and was blow away by their large inventory of guns and safes and bought one of their new smartphone biometric safes along with the Taurus G3 price was less than Bud's.
My husband and I found this little jewel of a place looking for a gun safe.We were shown a wide variety of safes their knowledge is second to none when it comes to Safes and guns. My husband walked a way with the new Taurus G3 at a very low price while other guns shops don t have it or are gouging customers.
Hands down the worst customer service I ve ever received, anywhere, and I ve traveled many places, being in the army. Big lazy guy mean mugged me when I walked in. Didn t say anything to me until I asked a question. He immediately got extremely rude for no reason. New to the area, and I hope not all businesses are like this. Crazy!
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff that help us pick out a Browning Gun Safe for our collection it was even customized to meet our needs and less expensive then the Liberty Safe we thought about buying.
Purchased a Browning Gun Safe it was less expensive then online they also sold me Swiss Traxs at cost to protect my floor from cracking Home Depot wanted a $100 more for same stuff and delivery was only $175 dollars for a 680 pound safe and bolted down. Very pleased with the selection of safes and accessories.Not a hard sell at all I came back several times before making my selection the owner spent a lot of time explaining the features of each safe.

I never write reviews but this place is awesome and very clean. The owner took her time and help me pick out a safe I could unlock with my cell phone my wife loves it ! I just finished their NRA Basic Pistol CCW course as a female who has never shot a gun before this class gave me the confidence to go to the range by myself and practice. 8 hour class worth every penny and time spent.
I highly recommend this store. This security safe store is owned by a woman and she treated me, a very old lady, with great respect and kindness. I wish the world that we live in could show kindness like this lady did. Mandy even offered to shut down her store so that I could come in alone and look at their security safes for purchase. Seeing that I am old & at risk for Corona virus due to my age, it is nice to see a friendly god fearing female owner go out of her way to make me feel safe and secure shopping in her store. She even provided me with a nice cup of hot tea.

This place has earned my business for life. Can t thank one of the owner s Mandy enough for letting me and my wife in today when they were closed for the 4th for my wife to purchase a shotgun for home defense. We were there for over an hour. Mandy was patient answering many questions directly to my wife.No pressure at all.
My wife finally decided on a 20 Gauge Shot Gun under $250 pink of course which my wife loved and got some free safety stuff with purchase. She explained how to load and unload, different types of ammo and gave us a list of outdoor ranges. Also signed up for a basic shotgun class with our 12 year old.
Bought a Buchmark 22 and got a $100 rebate from Browning. they provided everything I needed for the rebate and it went through with no problems. Very helpful.

Took their NRA Basic Pistol 8 hours class with my 15 year old daughter. Small group less than 8 people spaced out due to Covid. Hell of a lot better than the CCW 3 hour class I took at the Gun Show. No hard sell on insurance for one. It was a very enjoyable and fun experience. I was offered refreshments also found out my sites were off on my Sig the instructor adjusted them for me at the range wow now I am dead on.

In a rush I bought a gun somewhere else at a gun store in Ocoee and I realized I paid way too much in fact gouged I could kick myself and to top it off they had no ammo.

The owner and took the time to teach me how to load and unload with snap caps . I loaded and unloaded till I felt comfortable.

A small store run directly by the owner--good to excellent prices and the owner is friendly and personable, even following up later in e-mail with information relevant to conversation topics. Transfer fees are lowest I've encountered in the area as well.
I do not understand the 1 star probably a "Liberal Troll" My wife and I signed up and took the CCW course they offered.
The instructor ( Certified NRA Instructor ) was patient and very knowledgeable we were provided refreshments and were taken to a private outdoor range and had the opportunity to shoot several different types of pistols.

Great Customer Service purchased a few firearms there with the ammo shortage they are the only ones that seem to have any. Trust me they really care and do take care of there customers long after the sale.
I called around to several safe companies to try and figure out how to open my husbands Sentry Safe no one called me back except Lakota Safe Company. The owner tried to explain where to put the batteries unfortunately we live in assisted living and did not have any. She came to us brought battery s and show us how to operate the safe I asked her how much she said No Charge and thanked my husband for his Service.
I went by 7 gun stores in the Orlando area they all told me they were to busy to help. Since in their mind it was a minor purchase about $300. I was in search of a very specific rifle it was a limited edition the owner she helped me order it online on their website I looked at the price and was blown away it was $100.00 cheaper then the shop In Melbourne I live next too who could not be bothered. I received my rifle in a week and could not be happier. She stated if I ever got tired of it she would buy it back. Lol a woman with a good taste in guns hard to find. Lakota thanks again !
Purchased a firearm at a shop down the street could never get the slide to go back. Floyd oiled it up and was able to advised me that the locking mechanism was bad. He helped me register my gun on S&W sent it back and they fixed it. I would have never known the gun was a life time warranty unless Floyd had told me. These people really care !

I was like a kid in a candy store fishing and hunting gear. A large selection of new and used Hunting Rifles
and some nice Henry Rifles too. I wanted a particular rifle I tried other gun stores but they tried to hard sell me something in stock. The owner made a few phone calls and located the one I wanted at the price I wanted to pay I had it in 2 days. They really went above and beyond!
Definitely my favorite gun shop in the area. Really friendly and helpful, also good products at really good prices. Looks like they also got the most in depth firearm classes in the area, taking one soon and can't wait!
I can t thank Mandy enough for her kindness last night. I am currently stationed over 2 hours away. I bought my 16 year old son a shotgun for his birthday but no reasonable priced ammo to be found in the Tampa area.I remember my son and I took our Hunters Safety Class there. I left a message really not thinking I would get a call back but a few hours later I received a call from Mandy she explained the new temporary ammunition policy. I lucked out never bought anything from them but since I am active military she stated she would sell me bulk ammo shotgun shells and the price was a very sweet deal . I arrived well after closing time I called and she stated no worries she let me in I got my ammo my boy is happy I told her thank you for caring enough I know it was not a big sale but I really do appreciate her working with my budget and crazy work schedule. I give them 10 Stars if I could.
I have received classroom training to get my CCW permit and also made some purchases at other times at LTP and it has been an all around great experience. The prices are good and they are very informative and friendly when I ask questions. I'm new to this gun stuff and they made it a pleasant first start for me. No doubt I'll be shopping there in the future and I do recommend them.
Tried going to the shop today. A customer came out of the shop, so obviously open. Rang the doorbell, and stood there for 2 minutes. No one answered the door to help me. Won't be going back.
From time to time i visit this store whether its casual browsing or like today 6-29-20 to purchase a vaultek safe. I entered the store an came in contact with a female worker who asked me what requirements i needed in a safe. my requirements were very simple 1. not bulky 2. holds 4-8 compact and full-sized pistols (i used a glock 19 as size example). she was precise on finding me what i needed and recommended the vaultek mx series safe which i already had great interest in from their website. she even offered to clear my pistol so i can try the safe to see if the size is to my liking, i unfortunately i wasn't carrying my full-sized pistol today.
moments into her helping me out another customer enters the store whom seem to frequent there as they addressed each other on a first name basis, so she kinda brushed me off an started to assist that said customer. she then asked another male employee to assist me further.
Now here is where the issues start and the sale went downhill. let me make it clear I'm at this point pleased with the info i obtained from the female worker and am ready to purchase the vaultek mx series safe.
I am now picking the brains of the male employee about the features of the vaultek mx series safe and i came to find out there are models without the fancy features. i made it clear that wouldn't mind opting for the lower models without the bells and whistles because frankly its going to be sitting in my closet providing me a place to store couple pistols. so after asking for a model without wifi and bluetooth a very noticeable attitude arrises and he rudely informed me he doesn't sell anything without bluetooth and wifi, i ignored the attitude and asked if he can order the basic vaultek mx series safe. He refused to order that particular safe and abruptly tells me to go to the manufacture mind i add lakota is a vaultek dealer. why would you not want to help a customer obtain a product you are a dealer for? I didn't mind spending x amount for shipping or so forth because i prefer dealing with local businesses, im a face to face type of person. im also a local business owner so i rather support my peers. With this type of customer service vaultek should pull there products from this store, it makes no sense when the dealer just sends the customer back to the manufacturer. mite as well leave it up to the manufacturer to sell the product if you don't want too.
I can not thank the staff at Lakota Safe Company enough in this COVID 19 pandemic they insure the safety of their customers. I am 6 months pregnant and needed a firearm, they kindly closed the store down in the middle of the afternoon to assist me in my purchase. I am so grateful the other customers were so accommodating, the owner explain the situation and offered them refreshments. I was able to complete my purchase of a Glock 19 Gen 5, in under 20 minuets with background check and out the door and saved $165.00 over the gun shop down the street. Lakota really went above and beyond for me I am a customer for life.
Wow is all I can say. This has to be the rudest person I ve dealt with in the firearm world. I called first but had no response, so I decided to stop in today since I live in Winter Garden to inquire if they have any 9mm ammo as I needed 3 boxes (150 rounds) since I was running low in primers and have an event tonight. Their response is we do, but I m not selling any to you. Then they want on preaching how everyone is stopping by looking for ammo because local shops were sending customers their way, but they are not supplying ammo for those other shops customers and tough luck. I understand if their is a perceived ammo shortage, however their are better ways to explain why they do not want to sell ammo even when the website lists as in stock in available. The response was, then order online or buy a safe or a gun. No disclaimer anywhere that this is for pre-existing customers only. I didn t even feel free or given the opportunity to browse the store as the salesman literally ushered me out the door. Strange that they do not want my business. There are so many other friendlier options including the Armory, Florida FFL or Any of the other local shops.
*Since the owner has responded I will update this. My dissatisfaction is not with the ammo policy at all. Your policy is your policy and I completely accepted that with zero issues. I simply went home and loaded the rounds that I needed which I was just trying to avoid because I had a busy day. My issue is that your salesman was rude and condescending from the moment I walked in and I inquired if you had ammo. I never once mention my career or try be granted special privileges", pull a I m a competitive shooter" or any of that nonsense that you are suggesting. In fact, I find that very insulting to even suggest that I behaved in that way. Anyone that knows me knows that this couldn t be further from the truth.
In fact, the only reason Orlando Gun Club was mentioned was because your salesperson mentioned to go try there and I told him that I was a member there and it s overpriced. That does not mean I exclusively shop at OGC. So what does that have to do with anything? I certainly did not use that fact to throw weight."
Your salesperson is the one that needs talking too. He was ranting that all these people are being sent from those shops to by ammo and I m not supplying them. I simply said ok and left since I was I not welcomed from the start. I truly hope that your cameras have audio and maybe you should review the conversation and get your facts straight. I can see from your reviews that I am not the only person that found your salesperson to be unfriendly and rude.

I recently had a rifle transferred there from a purchase I made in Michigan.
It went very smoothly they called as soon as they received it and they even stayed open late so I could pick it up for my competition shoot.
I was blown away by the offerings they have in gun safes, firearms and ammo their prices are the lowest in Orlando that I have seen and they can get about any item you need.

If you are a female in search of a firearm this is the only place to go. Dealt with Steven I asked him 50 questions he was patient and kind no pressure. After about an hour I purchased a Hellcat a lot cheaper than an other shop around. I called and spoke with Mandy about 3 times she was patient and kind. Went in and picked up my firearm after the 3 day wait and purchased more ammo signed up for the 8 hour NRA Pistol Class which gave me confidence to go to the gun range on my own no man needed and I got my CWW Permit in 10 days.
If I could give this company 0 stars, I would! Please beware when going to them, this was the absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I was using this for a FFL transfer, which should be simple and straight forward...not in this case! I spoke with Joseph prior to the transfer to ensure he would be there when it was arriving, he confirmed he was going to be there. I found out he was not there when UPS tried to deliver, and I called him to find out what happened. After having to call him over 10 times, he finally answered the phone and told me that he went out to lunch. He was extremely rude and unapologetic, he proceeded to then tell me cancel the order and have it shipped to someone else . Before I could even respond, he then hung up on me. This would mean that the customer will be charged due to sending back (thankfully Palmetto State Armory did not charge me and gave me an extra 10 percent coupon after I explained what happened with this horrific FFL experience). My wife then tried to contact him, and he was extremely disrespectful and once again hung up on her without allowing her to speak. This type of person should not be in business to the public. He needs to learn customer service skills and basic skills of common courtesy.
Very female and kiddo friendly brought my 2 twin boys 6 year old boys in to look at safes Mandy showed me around while Floyd kept my boys entertained with Native American Stories. No pressure was there over an hour did not buy anything but I will be back.

The customer service I received at Lakota Safe was awful.
The long story short is the owner is downright rude. Their post sales support is non-existent no matter the circumstance. If you think there s even a chance you might need a return or exchange, do NOT buy from Lakota Safe as there is a no refunds and no exceptions policy, which is not stated on their website (it has since been updated) or receipt and was not told to us.
The owner s response below is indicative of his attitude toward customers, and he suggests I made demands and that quality issues weren t a primary reason for return. This and many other statements are flatout false. He also states he will have an attorney contact me over the matter. This is absolutely absurd and has no merit. All of my emails were cordial, and I would gladly share them with anyone.
This is a company you should avoid.
I love supporting local companies because typically the experience is much more personable. However, you would get far better support from a big box retailer.
That being said, I will admit that the lady that worked with us the majority of the time was very nice and helpful.
However, the other owner, who I believe is her husband, was notably brash. We didn t work with him much during our three visits, but on the one time we did work with him, a customer walked in while he was busy and he accusingly asked them you been drinking? It struck me as direct and forceful.
The funny thing was I remember telling my wife before we ever walked into the store that I appreciated the fact that the owner consistently replied back strongly to negative reviews on google and gave his side of the story. There s no doubt in my mind that he will do that yet again here.
However, I would strongly encourage readers to look at other 1 star reviews that people have posted and be sure not to discredit those opinions like I did based on his strong-armed replies. I now believe there s a lot of truth to those negative reviews.
We ended up buying two safes- an allegedly new, open box unit and a scratch and dent unit. When we arrived home, we immediately noticed the door to the new open box safe didn t open completely and the key entry only worked half the time. It also had more scuffs and scratches for a new, open box safe than expected.
The scratch and dent unit had issues with its thumbprint reader, tamper alarm, App, and just ended up being too small for us.
That night, I requested an exchange for the one safe, and by the next morning, my disappointment with the other lead me to request a return for both. I offered to apply the return to buying a different safe.
When I called about the return, I was almost immediately cut off and told to call Vaultek to solve my problems. When Vaultek s customer service line said they weren t taking calls, I called Lakota back and asked for a simple refund. Afterall, I had the safe for half a day and hadn t used one at all and barely used the other.
I was yet again told I had to work through Vaultek who I hoped could somehow return the safe, but they didn t process the sale, so they bounced me back to Lakota.
I was told by Vaultek that they would replace both safes, but we still felt a replacement wouldn t meet expectations and would be too small, so we told Lakota that if they would return the safes, we would happily buy another safe, and they could receive the replacement safes from Vaultek that worked properly which they could then sell to a future customer. It seemed a very simple solution that would ve worked for everyone.
They refused. Not once. Not twice. But three times. All emails and phone calls about the return were with Mateo and the owner. He reiterated time and time again they don t accept returns of any kind. I was extremely apologetic and solution-focused truly believing that taking a more cordial, human approach might work. I was wrong.
In the end, I thoroughly regret purchasing from this company, and I m absolutely amazed at the complete and utter lack of any sort of support or care for a customer.
The only store in town that I was not price gouged at. I purchased a Glock 43x and ammo today. 9 mm/50 ammo was Shock under $15 dollars a box unheard of amount during the shortage. As a woman I was treated with respect and dignity. I read the negative reviews I see they are all from

I went in to buy a hunting rifle their prices were so low I bought 2. I am excited that they are teaching Hunter Safety on a private range and my daughter and I can get it done in one day. Most knowledgeable staff I have run across and the do bulk ammo orders too.
