From time to time i visit this store whether its casual browsing or like today 6-29-20 to purchase a vaultek safe. I entered the store an came in contact with a female worker who asked me what requirements i needed in a safe. my requirements were very simple 1. not bulky 2. holds 4-8 compact and full-sized pistols (i used a glock 19 as size example). she was precise on finding me what i needed and recommended the vaultek mx series safe which i already had great interest in from their website. she even offered to clear my pistol so i can try the safe to see if the size is to my liking, i unfortunately i wasn't carrying my full-sized pistol today.
moments into her helping me out another customer enters the store whom seem to frequent there as they addressed each other on a first name basis, so she kinda brushed me off an started to assist that said customer. she then asked another male employee to assist me further.
Now here is where the issues start and the sale went downhill. let me make it clear I'm at this point pleased with the info i obtained from the female worker and am ready to purchase the vaultek mx series safe.
I am now picking the brains of the male employee about the features of the vaultek mx series safe and i came to find out there are models without the fancy features. i made it clear that wouldn't mind opting for the lower models without the bells and whistles because frankly its going to be sitting in my closet providing me a place to store couple pistols. so after asking for a model without wifi and bluetooth a very noticeable attitude arrises and he rudely informed me he doesn't sell anything without bluetooth and wifi, i ignored the attitude and asked if he can order the basic vaultek mx series safe. He refused to order that particular safe and abruptly tells me to go to the manufacture mind i add lakota is a vaultek dealer. why would you not want to help a customer obtain a product you are a dealer for? I didn't mind spending x amount for shipping or so forth because i prefer dealing with local businesses, im a face to face type of person. im also a local business owner so i rather support my peers. With this type of customer service vaultek should pull there products from this store, it makes no sense when the dealer just sends the customer back to the manufacturer. mite as well leave it up to the manufacturer to sell the product if you don't want too.
