Nice views of the lake. Deer came right under our balcony and 2 young eagles flee for us while drinking morning coffee outside

The view is gorgeous...however, the walls are paper thin, and the people above us stomped all night long. It was almost like it was done purposely. Also there isn t any WiFi. Which is disappointing if you need service for any reason. The rooms are average. For the price you pay, you would think they would be updated more. Overall, would not book again.

Beavers Bend is a must see in Oklahoma. Very resort-type area but super accessible both physically and financially :) The lodge was 3 stars bec it needs to be updated (and to offer better breakfast choices), but the staff was very friendly, and it was clean and comfortable - with an awesome view of the lake!

Beautiful scenery and comfy patio chairs and nice bathrooms. The walls are paper thin, the patio is not 100% covered so if you are laying out towels or swim wear and it rains it will get wet. Deer flock every night and morning right up to your door if you are facing the lake side. The biggest downside was the lack of bleach used on towels and sheets their are definitely stains on the bed and bedding and even the pillows themselves. The star view is amazing at night. There needs to be a walkway to the bottom of the lakeside that is wheelchair accessible by the entrance. And for goodness sakes this place needs to update their tech and get WIFI!! The complementary breakfast includes refrigerator sandwiches packages muffins and pastries, sometimes juice, coffee, and sometimes yogurt, water, and cereal. Was expecting some eggs and bacon, toast, sausage, or waffle iron. But can't be helped now. The view is everything plus the deer. Everything else mediocre.

Stayed here the weekend of Christmas and wow! The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was cozy and relaxing, the view was absolutely gorgeous, and I was very pleased with the pricing, we used a Groupon! There are mini fridges, keurigs, and microwaves in the rooms, the beds were so comfy and we slept so well after hiking all day long...so many good things to say about this hidden gem

The staff was very friendly! How ever when we got in our room there was at least 100 flies! I thought I had killed them all until we laid down to go to sleep and there was flies all ovwr the ceiling! The grounds needed to be mowed we only stayed one night had planned on staying 2 to 3 nights!

Fantastic cabins in a rustic woodland area. The cabin was large and nicely decorated. The bed was comfy and there are TV's in every room. Janet Cress really knows how to make these cabins welcoming.

If you're planning to spend your vacation with your friends group think again.
The only reason of this negative review was front desk's mismanagement at the evening of Nov.23, 2018 while we were at our Thanksgiving vacation.
Specifically person who was in duty, Katherine, did her best to call rangers frequently due to her own comfort. She just did ruin our last evening at the lodge. Whatever she did complain about our kids was perfectly taken care of parents including restroom cleaning.
Rangers came in and told us that there is complaining from the customers who are in rooms. Therefor they told us to empty recreation room immediately othewise they will force us to pack and move out at the mid night on Friday. The truth is there is no way for people in rooms to hear any noice from recreation room. The only explanation of this nonsence is discrimination/racisim because we are foreigner. Even though many of us are US citizen.
Probably this hotel has never encountered this type of group of customers. 15 families from one community that do not smoke and smoke.
If you are planning to come here with group do not come.

This is a beautiful lodge right on the lake with a boat ramp. A herd of deer come up every night, they love grapes and apples. A great place to spend your vacation, or just a few days relaxing.

We stayed for three nights. There were no WiFi services and no cell phone connections at the rooms or around the hotel, but only in lobby. Breakfast was very poor in selection.

I will start off by stating that if you are planning on having some quiet time with your significant other at this location you will probably going to the wrong place. The main problems that me and my wife encountered here was at first an issue with cell service there was none and we had two children at home that would have needed to call if an emergency had happened for whatever reason. The wifi-only works in the lobby area the room that we reserved was on the bottom floor and it was full of dog hair and flies as well as had a drip coming from the room above that was coming from the air conditioning that was dripping on our heads when trying to open the door from the outside. We did not stay here because of these reasons but let me tell you it don't stop there I reserved this room by calling and giving them my credit card over the phone the day before we arrived this was a 4 plus hour drive for us when we got there the parking lot was full of boats and trailers it was very hard to find a parking spot to even check in. After check-in our room was on the lower level which was all the way around the back side of the hotel\lodge which is a pretty good distance if you are carrying your luggage from the you parking spot that you might find which is all the way down a steep embankment around the building and down some stairs. Now we called the front desk to let them know that we would not be staying and that we would like to have a refund and the lady up front at first did not want to give us our refund but she decided to anyways. Now keep in mind we had no way of checking our bank account because there was no data for cell service for about a hundred miles out of broken bow when we finally got service my wife checked the bank and noticed that there were two charges 1 was the original charge from my phone call reservation the second was for two nights which was a total of three nights almost $500 we were out so we called to let them know that we had been charged almost double and she called my wife a liar now how are you going to call someone a liar who has proof in front of them stating that we were charged for three total nights when we are only going to stay to and then we only had a piece of paper that stated we would get a refund for only one night. I am just informing you as a consumer to be very weary of this place make sure you do your homework before you come and understand what you are getting yourself into or your family into. Yes there is a lot of activities in and around this area but this is the second time me and my wife have come to broken bow and had a not so pleasant experience. here's a tip as well be sure to look at all of the negative reviews from places that you decide to stay if I had read them before I would have not reserved this hotel lesson learned.

I actually do not where to start. I would only focus on the most important stuff: very unfriendly front desk stuff. During our three day stay there, the front desk lady for night shifts was very unfriendly. She made her best to ruin our Thanksgiving holiday. I have honestly never been anywhere with such unwelcoming and rude stuff. She lacked basic understanding and empathy. In addition, our hotel room was not vacuumed or dusted. Only towels were changed, and once during our stay. Only I could go on, but do not wanna waste more time. If you would like to come and enjoy your time here with your friends and have a nice time over holidays DO NOT COME.

I am always trying to be most objective. In this my Hotel experience I will as always stay honest.
I've never faced with a case, where hotel employee can call the police, and police will ask guests/ clients to go to rooms after 11pm on Friday, otherwise they will push clients to "pack and lieve the hotel".
I was shocked!!! Only because we used recreation building ( npt the building with rooms), and reception lady Kathy, recognized us as "too loudly". But, actually, we just were playing board games. That was the worst Thanksgiving holiday I ever spent!

P.s. additionally to all above,
- rooms have not veen cleaned
- Towels haven't been changed.
- first day, I was asking for additional two pillows, and she said "I have only one".

Please, before stay here, make sure you want to face with this kind of service and " hospitality".

Beautiful scenery, courteous staff, comfortable accommodations, and very affordable!

Apart from the average view from the lobby, the breakfast consists of only processed foods, probably why it s free . The WiFi only works in the hotel lobby and even then it is painfully slow. I was spending time with my family in the lobby playing games because the rooms cannot accommodate the number of people. They brought over the ranger to send everyone to their rooms because of a noise complaint without even giving us warnings beforehand. It is appalling that they have the audacity to tell us to stay in our rooms. They kicked us out without providing valid reasons. The lobby is a separate building from the hotel rooms but still they kicked us out of the lobby around 10:45 pm. The ruined our holiday. I highly do not recommend this place because I believe they kicked us out early because they were being discriminatory to my nationality. I highly do NOT recommend this place. The high price was definitely not worth the stay. I wish there was a negative star option.

Its a yearly mini vacation cloose by and full of activities restaurants and side trips

Absolutely disappointed. I came to here all the way from Kentucky with my family to spend some good thanksgiving time with my fellow Azeri community and even though we shared same good memories there were also bad ones. One of the things that I totally was disappointed with was the Wi-fi. As a college student I brought my homework hoping to at least finish some by the end of thanksgiving break but I couldn t do ANY of them. WiFi kept not loading or wouldn t connect in any way. And when I tried to use my cellular data that didn t work either because there was no service ( which I get it is not completely their fault).
Another thing that I was disappointed with was breakfast and how the protein options only included pork not chicken or anything else. As a Muslim I would have expected to try to eat something other than pork but there wasn t that option.
Last but not least, hospitality of the staff. No matter where the person that I m talking with is from I would always show my complete respect to them but over two days we stayed there was no hospitality. We were sent away from the lobby during our last day while we were trying to spend good time with our friends that we won t probably see again until next year and we were sent away because of a noise complain and yet we did not get any warning of that beforehand. I always keep my mind open and positive and look at the situations from different perspectives but there was one perspective in this situation: just because there were Muslims in the room the staff members thought it was necessary to call sheriff constantly even in the situations there wasn t any sheriff watch needed just in case we would do something . Yet we didn t do anything and kept showing our respect towards them even during times when there was no respect shown to us.
I was expecting more, I was expecting to have qualitative time during my short thanksgiving break but unfortunately it did not happen.

This is the worst of the worst place I have ever stayed in my whole life. There are lots of bugs and spiders in the room. I would never ever recommend anyone to stay in this dirty old place. Wasteeee of money!!!!

Horrible customer service. WiFi it s just icon on your phone. And lady at reception, Kathy, two times called cops, course kids was little bit loud.

I was in this place three years ago and I liked it. So, me and my friends chose this place and came here again. Unfortunately, this time we all regretted for coming back. The night shift personal Kathy was very impolite and I would say with no doubt that she was racist against us. She called park ranger at first night and since kids were making noise (they are kids, of course, they would make a noise) they gave us notice. We thought it is normal and the next night we took appropriate steps to prevent her "discomfort" and we did what we had been told. We put all our kids in one place (which is in upstairs hall) that is far away where other people stay. Guess what? We still could not satisfy the lady who supposed to give us good service since she gets her salary because of people like us visit that place. She called the park ranger again who obviously gave us notice if we did not leave the resting place we all would be kicked out immediately. Can you imagine that? We were all waiting Thanksgiving to celebrate the holiday together and because of one personal this year's holiday is "gone"for us. Thank you Kathy for the "best" hotel service and thank you for ruining our holy holiday.

Think twice before choosing this place. Don't make the same mistake as we did.

Rustic comfort and balconies to watch deer every evening. Bring deer corn from Walmart to feed and take pictures. The breakfast not special, probably due to the Coronavirus. Spectacular sunrises across the lake.

Great views. Deer family walked right by are room. Comfortable bed and room is spacious. Breakfast was very basic.

Clean and cute cabin in area about 5 min drive from the lake. Hot tub was clean and fairly private. Easy booking and response. Would definitely stay again.

It is nice. The only complaint is WiFi should be accessible in rooms.

This has become my favorite place to stop and smell the roses. I saw quite a few deer grazing early this morning about ten feet from my balcony. The view speaks for itself. The rooms are spacious and the front desk staff is friendly and very accommodating. I really enjoy the peace and quiet of this place!

Very nice affordable place to stay when visiting Beavers Bend. I spent 3 nights here and I would highly reccomend it to others. The unit was clean, Ac worked great (July), breakfast was simple but good. The view was awesome and deer could be seen in the courtyard area in the mornings. There was a small kids playground on site and direct access to the lake. The rooms had a rustic feel and it was nice!

Front desk staff made guests feel unwelcomed.Service at the front desk has gone from bad to worse especially in the case of the female receptionist made me and my friends feel utterly unwelcome when we were sitting at the lobby with our kids.

Great place with great views. Went in the off season for better pricing. Decent parking and lots of hiking. Can t beat the lake view though. We invited friends for their first time ever and they had a blast. We look forward to coming back, plenty of stuff to do and eat in the surrounding area.

As everyone states, the view is beautiful! I drove in 5 1/2 hours and had booked 2 nights but when I got there the Chain smoker Rude 2 front office ladies said No no ! You only have one night and that s tonight! One night was $180.00 and as I kept checking if a room came available she kept saying No,Sorry! But while walking up to the desk ( for the last time) the Witch was booking someone a room for that night????? What the heck??? Definitely playing favorites !!
No internet service unless you would walk into the lobby where they were listening to every phone call!

My family goes here to hike on the trail in front of the Lodge. The trail is about a 2 two mile hike and is great for kids 5 and up.

Certainly a cut above a hotel, given you're in the park and right on the lake. There is a boat ramp right behind the lodge for all you boaters, and there is a complementary breakfast available to tenants.

There is no Wifi, so if you're planning on staying in touch with the world, you best head to Broken Bow, or let your data plan suffer. Parking is typically on an incline, so I don't recommend this for most handicapped persons. Still, was a nice place to stay for three days.

Pretty great spot view of lake was amazing and there was a herd of wild deer that walked around all night and was people friendly

The room was clean and actually nicer than we expected. Our room was in a perfect spot where the deer would almost come right up to our door in the evening. Dont plan on using their WIFI because if you get the same room as us it is nonexistent and we didn't have phone service until we drove into town. Breakfast wasnt anything special but it was good. This was our second time staying there and we will definitely be back as soon as we can.
