Amazing food and great service. Dining with a view.

Sat outside, view is excellent. Order fried asparagus starter, cup of clam chowder and a sirloin steak. Everything was top notch at very reasonable prices. Clam chowder wasn't traditional, had a hint of something sour. Maybe lemon? Possibly not for everyone, but tasted great. Steak was tender and juicy.

I love it so much. Their food is absolutely incredible and for the price it is worth it but still a bit expensive. The staff is so sweet and one left us lovey jokes on our receipt, gave us bread for the road, and put extra strawberries in with the cake (which is heaven) all because he overheard us talking about the stuff we liked. He and all the other staff goes above and beyond to give you the best experience they can.

Lovely setting, food was delicious. The waiter seemed a little rushed, but he was still attentive. Only drawback, a little pricey

Tbe food and service is superb. But the view and ambiance is plain. . plain awesome!

Totally awesome as usual...If your on a budget I would suggest McDonald's.

Dinners are good, but it is a great spot to stop in for a drink on the porch.

This is a really nice restaurant. Fairly cheap but really good quality food. Would highly recommend going to this place. It is kinda out of the way though but once you go d it you'll love it. In the summer you can sit on the river and watch the sun set and enjoy a nice meal.

Sunday brunch was okay. I was not expecting a buffet that I think took away from the authenticity of the food.

Love it everytime we go. I got the seafood medley tonight and it was superb! hubby got the ribeye and it was perfect. Thanks lakeside tavern! Plus awesome view of the sunset;)

Place has a beautiful location and is always fantastic experience with food and service. I love the hawaiian steak the most and they have surf options.

My wife and I went in for a late lunch about 2 PM on Dec 18. The hostess told us the bar was open seating and just go in and pick a table. There was a booth open but it had the remains of the last customers still on the table. We stood next to the table while 5 staff members walked past us, one stopped next to us to gawk at the TV. I interrupted the staff member watching TV and asked if he could help us with getting the table cleared. He partially cleared the table never to be seen again. Another few minutes went by and I glanced again at the hostess, not a speck of concern on her face while we were standing waiting for someone to help us. After about 10 minutes standing next to a dirty table we decided to leave. This was an absolute lack of any customer service skill. If I was the owner, I would fire the manager and every person that walked by us like we weren't even there. I will never visit this restaurant again. it was such a shame as I talked it up so well to my wife as it was her first visit there.

Food was not good at all, service was even worse. They forgot to put our sides on the plate, had to ask twice before they finally brought them out. Should have let them keep them, as they were horrible.

We found this awesome place as we were passing through Knoxville in route to Gatlinburg and boy are we glad we did. The food was amazing and the service and views of the lake just topped it off. Our server, Elijah, made us aware of happy hour so we tried the fried Asapargus and had some delicious drinks. For our entree we tried the Talipia which was incredible. We highly recommend this place!

Wow this is amazing. Come hungry and eat everything you can! Service is fast and attentive. Can't wait to come back!

I can't actually comment on the food because I never get to eat here. They will not accept a reservation only a 30 minute call ahead. But when I call ahead 30 minutes prior I am put on hold and ignored for five minutes. I really don't think they want me to eat at this restaurant.

Love the ole tavern. Had a lovely date night here with my parents. The aloha sirloin medium was perfectly cooked. My dad make a couple goofy jokes and the waitress rolled with it. Good times and good mems. Hoping to come back again.

This is one of my favorite places to come when my family is in town! We enjoy sitting outside, overlooking the marina (when it s not too hot of course). I have gotten the chicken saint barts several times now & love it. I get it without capers, because I m not a fan. The 2 chicken breasts are plenty to eat one, take one home, and delicious heated up! I do wish it came with a little more pasta. I always get the cheddar mashed potatoes- YUM! My parents have gotten the fish & chips, Aunt got the sirloin, and cousins have tried the Mediterranean pasta and the strawberry salad. All delicious! We had onion rings as an appetizer once and had tons left over & that was with sharing between 5 people. I don t like onion rings but ate the crust off of it and it was such a great flavor! And the bread... oh my goodness, the bread! It is the best! It has a little sea salt on top & the butter is fresh and soft. I hate how most restaurants give you the cold butter in a wrapper anymore, and you can t even spread it. I also tried the strawberry cake once and I d honestly come here just for that! They do 30 minute call ahead & id highly recommend making a reservation if you re coming on the weekend, or you ll be waiting for over an hour.

Lakeside Tavern has a great menu with traditional items and some that are a bit more unique. The view is great, too.

What a great experience. The architecture was designed to give many views of the land scape as you enjoyed a nice variety of superbly prepared foods which would delight your taste.

This was a great place to stop and have a bite to eat! Food was excellent with the exception of the sweet potatoes (tastes like baby food sprinkled with crushed pecans) other than that it was good. Best clam chowder around and the salad was big enough to feed 4. Beautiful restaurant, only wish I could have seen it in the day. Staff was great and very professional, especially because we walked in right after a power outage.

We started with an order of edamame, delicious. We were a party of three and ordered Ahi tuna, fish and chips and Tavern chicken. There wasnt a.bite left on any of our plates. Exquisite!!!

Beautiful restaurant and great setting. The food is pretty good. The only issue I have is my steak was overcooked and I ordered a house salad but got a Caesar instead. It's comparable to an Aubreys as far as price and quality goes. Not a bad place, just some issues with the order in general.

Warm bread starter is nice and salty. Ahi tuna is a good choice lots of good food in a beautiful setting on the lake. Sunset on the patio is special.

I was expecting the food to be better here. It seems to have a following. I tried the seafood mix and it was not good, mostly white fish and not flavorful at all. They could have done better for the price.

I have a long, fond history with this restaurant. From family outings for special occasions, or just having lunch with a friend. I used to enjoy this place. However after dining here tonight, I can confidently say I will never be back. Between subpar food and lackluster service, I was quite disappointed. It makes me sad because of all the wonderful memories I have at this restaurant.

For the price of brunch you could fill my tank of gas on my car. Food is good but think I will orfer from menu next time.

The Sunday buffet is fabulous. The Price is Right. And The View is terrific. The restaurant overlooks The Marina and the Tennessee River and the view goes all the way across to the active train tracks and a little old Village.

Grand champion beef is no joke...med rare as perfect!
