The website pictures should be considered false advertising..
I can get peeling wallpaper, torn carpet, and hallways that smell like a retirement home at any seedy hotel in downtown Edmonton.
The only positive is the mountain view. It is a good thing I was out and about most of the day.

The housing was wonderful, great location, and great rooms. The bar/pub on-site was delicious. The only issue was the hottub pool area was really really bad. The chemicals were burning my eyes and at one point I had a coughing fit and couldn't breath. Many others complained as well. Hopefully this will get fixed!! Thanks

Small rooms, no air conditioning, no fridge, we were very disappointed for the price of the rooms. We had an issue with the quoted booking price through Priceline and the actual price we were charged and though the front desk clerk was friendly and helpful the manager we dealt with was rude. The issue was not resolved and I would never go back!

Lake Louise Inn staff provided us with all the information we needed regarding the changes they have made to housekeeping etc due to covid upon check in. The hotel is also very central. The room was exactly as shown in the photos when booking and was very clean. We had booked the Summit Deluxe 2 Queen room which is newly renovated and to my surprise had a adorable balcony facing the forest. For the negative reviews below, I believe it may be due to the fact that when booking, the older, unrenovated rooms were booked, which are about $15-$20 cheaper/day. It is definitely worth the extra few bucks for a newly renovated room. The only issue I had is that all rooms are connected by a door, and the guests in the room next to us were very loud as of 5am in the morning, which made it hard to sleep past 5am the first night. The hotel did provides ear plugs. Regardless, I would definitely recommend this place!

The newly renovated rooms were fabulous and the staff was efficient, professional and very helpful. The on site restaurant had fabulous food. The beds however were very hard and uncomfortable but in the grand scheme of things a minor inconvenience. The grounds were very nice and well maintained and they had picnic tables and comfy Adirondack chairs to relax in and enjoy the mountain air.

Easy check in/out, clean room, good location, decent affordability for Lake Louise, comfy bed but pillows were a bit soft/small. Good water pressure. In room coffee was tasty actually and it was nice to have a small fridge.

Had a lovely dinner on the patio. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and gave me great recommendations on local beverages. Nina was a wonderful server and I had a great first dining experience in lake Louise. Highly recommend. Will be back!

I didn t know what to expect but this is such a lovely place to stay. We had booked a standard room and were given a complimentary upgrade upon checking in. The room was incredible! Two queen beds and a beautiful bathroom. We visited lake Louise and it s very easy to get there! Just a few minutes on the bus for $2 each way. The bus stop is a very short walk from the inn. Once back for the evening, we had dinner at the Timberwolf Italian restaurant within the inn and the food did not disappoint either! Great service from Morgan, and delicious food and cocktails for a fair price! I had an excellent night sleep and considering it was so cold outside the room was perfectly warm. I would 100% recommended this place to stay. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Even though it was just 1 night, it was a great stay.

Great location. We loved our room with a lovely walk out patio. The staff were super helpful in returning an item I left behind in the hotel! I little on the pricey side, but I would stay there again.

Our room looked brand new--very clean and updated. The only negative was that it was the room was stifling hot. Also they advertise a "two person jacuzzi" in the room, but in no way would two full grown adults fit in it...

Great location and friendly staff. Free use of the pool area where you have to walk through the pool area before you enter the dressing rooms.

Food was a bit disappointing, we had the pizza which was just money for value. I did really like the ambiance of the restaurant. The rooms were very motel like, with dated interior but clean and comfortable beds.

This is a very nice hotel. The beds were comfy and the room is very pleasing. The pool and hot tubs are very nice too. It was probably my favourite part about the place. This place to me is one of the best value for money if you are staying in Lake Louise.

It is very close to lake Loise which is good. The rooms were reasonable and the pool and jacuzzi were very enjoyable. If going in winter make sure which building you are in as you may have to walk to the pool. Staff was very helpful.

I did not like the room to be honest. Not the kind of room i was expecting at rate of $175 per night. Room was very small. one Lamp was not working at all. Flush was broken! It was hard time but I didn't have much to do as I was very sleepy and just wanted to sleep. But would not recommend this to anyone.

Front desk staff was very friendly. The room we had was actually in a satellite building on the 4th floor. There was no elevator. The room was dated and smelled like the inside of a well used ski boot. There was no mini fridge and the ice machine was 5 flights down. The bathroom door only opens half way as it hits the toilet. The grout in the bathroom is moldy and peeling. The bedding consists of a bed sheet, a duvet, and another bed sheet on top. Which I thought was weird to but I slept pretty good regardless.
There seams to be no shortage of staff running around the facility who are pretty friendly to talk to but I'm not sure if they actually do anything when no one is looking. There was a food take out container on the deck outside the neighbors door when we checked in. The next morning it was still there, that afternoon it had been ravaged by crows and the food was strewn about. It stayed there for the remainder of our stay.
There is a pool and a few small hot tubs if you brave the elements and trek back to building number one. The locker room is not maintained in any way, there were dirty towels everywhere and no sign of any attendant. The hot tubs are very tiny and we're quite crowded when I was there. There didn't seam to be room enough for people to get into the two smaller tubs and they were left sitting on the edge dipping only dipping their feet into the kiddie pool sized tubs.
There is a restaurant upstairs. Timberwolf I think it's called. They have great pizza. We tried the meat lovers and it was very tasty and we'll made.

The hotel gave us a free upgrade from a room with double queen-bed to a loft which can accommodate up to 10 pax! The room was adequate for our needs and had a pretty view to it as well :) if you need to post a postcard, just slot it into the mail box at the reception!

Lovely place to stay. I had my toddler with me and the staff were kind and accommodating. They brought a microwave and toaster up to our room which made our life sooooo much easier! The restaurant was lovely as well with good service and great food. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends if they are skiing Louise and will hopefully be coming back soon!

Stayed for a weekend and upgraded our room when we checked in - power went out one morning and heat was not working in the room, was given a space heater to stay warm, toilet didn't fully flush. Good location - overall not impressed - never had so many issues at a hotel especially with the price we paid.

Went here for the breakfast buffet. Since the restaurant was not busy the buffet was not set up. We had to order our buffet meals, which was fine. We let the server know there was a strawberry allergy the cooks needed to be aware of but when we got our food a small strawberry smoothie was brought to the table. Other than that everything was fine.

The location in the village of Lake Louise is great. Furthermore it was a great service to have a guest pass being sent by email beforehand so that you can enter the town even if it is crowded. The staff is friendly the rooms are clean. Nevertheless in terms of the price they re charging the rooms are very narrow and seem to be somewhat out of age.

Sprung for the romance package, had a wonderful time. There was a power outage the night we stayed there but the staff went out of their way to turn it into a pretty fun evening with live music and food by the fire in their gazebo. We had a great time and the drive was GORGEOUS.

This is a motel that is only worth about $60 per night if it were outside of banff national park. Room is dated and stuffy, bathroom grout is dirty and shower curtain smells. Mattress springs were broken so bed sunk in the middle. Thin walls.

We had a wonderful stay this past weekend! Staff was always friendly and extremely helpful, no complaints about the room and a lovely pool area! (The hot tubs were just the perfect fix for bumps and bruises after a day on slopes.)

My favorite part may have been the morning brunch - go all out! Full buffet is the way to go - great value.

We booked 2 nights at Lake Louise Inn through Hotwire. Since it was pretty easy to tell that we were getting the Inn from the reviews and stars, even though you don t get confirmation until you book (with Hotwire). So we saved $100 over booking directly with the hotel. After we got there we felt the room was a little small and there was no balcony so i wrote a review literally as we were unpacking and within 5 minutes we had a phone call to our room asking about the review and if there was anything they could do. I mentioned an upgrade with a balcony and they offered this to us for an extra $10 a night! Service was excellent and the free bike loan a nice bonus. Would stay here again. Nice and handy to everything Lake Louise has to offer.

Could be a bit tight on parking spot during busy time and could use more signs for indicating which building is which. Decent room, the walk up the stairs was expected. You can ask house keeping to help and just pay a tip. Older building but appears newly renovated. Even have soft closing toilet seats!

However if you sleep in, it ain't going to work and there is no sound proofing and people walking can can be heard while inside.

$19 breakfast was soso

It's a glorified and overpriced motel. That's all it is. No elevators. No fridge. No sort of ventilation in the room. A lot of the amenities were not available, yet we were charged the full 'resort fees'. It's not a resort!
Definitely not returning here.

The hotel was spectacular, gorgeous, clean, and amazing staff. My only complaints were the bed was SO uncomfortable, and the shower sucked. I can live with that. The loft like rooms were great for my coworkers, and my family fit well into the hotel style rooms. I spent time in the lobby (hanging out) and the pool, and were happy with both. I would definitely come back when I'm in Lake Louise again.

Service was lacking, especially in the restaurants. Room was okay.. Definitely dated. A bit of dirt in the main sleeping area. Pool change rooms were filthy. Hot tubs were shocked with chlorine daily making -them burn your eyes to the point you had to get out. (I'm not normally sensitive to chlorine but others said the same thing).

A bit of a letdown to be honest. This review was during covid 19 to be totally transparent. The pizza place was closed along with the pool. Then in our tiny room in building 4 we didn't have a fridge, microwave or air conditioning. Things that can make a stay a bit more pleasant and relaxing just weren't there. A bit too much to pay for, for what you get in return. Staff was very pleasant and helpful in getting us settled.

We stayed in a Deluxe Suite (1 King Bed, 2 Queen Beds and 1 Twin Sofa Bed) in February 2019. The hotel is currently under renovation, so the pictures may be dated by the time you look at this post. The staff were able to accommodate an early check in for us. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed and included a stovetop (2 elements) microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. The bathroom floor was heated near the bedroom with 2 queens - very nice for cold winter days! The plumbing was a bit weird (taps were loose and you could go past closed and start running water again) but other than that the suite was very nice. Housekeeping was swamped when we were there (the hotel was full) so they hadn t got to our room when we came back after skiing for the day. When we called down they came and cleaned right away. The front desk staff responded quickly to all our requests. My only complaint is their overuse of salt on the sidewalks and stairs. It got everywhere.
