Laguna Park Hotel Reviews

I stayed for a week in 2019 with my husband, son, daughter in law and my two grandkids. We all loved it the hotel was great rooms all very clean, we saw the cleaners every day always smiling.
The food in the restaurant was great they did well to cater for a lot of nationalities we always found something to eat for all of us no problem. The main pool was always a bit crowded for the kids so we used the quieter pool at the other side of the hotel which was fantastic kids had a ball. Myself and my hubby were to return in 2020 but Covid had other ideas but we are hoping to return to Laguna park this year in July with my sister and her two kids. I am looking forward to the lovely staff and nice warm hotel welcome.

Every summer my family and I take a one week vacation at a hotel . This year was by far the worse hotel expirience we have ever had.
1. The Room : We prereserved 2 rooms for 2 families . When we got there ,they gave us 2 rooms in 2 completely different buildings and when we asked for closer rooms they refused.
When we finally got the card key to our rooms we found out that we can have only one card key and only with this key we can switch on the electricity in the room (We tried to use a regular card but it didn't work) hotel staff will not give you an extra key and if you loose the one you have you will be required to pay for a replacement. In case one of you wants to stay at the lobby and one of you gets first to the room without the key ,a bellboy will open your room door but you have to stay in the room without air-conditioning or lights untill the key will arrive.
2. Food: The food is very basic and very poor. After 3 days at the hotel restaurant we couldn't find anything to eat so we went outside to eat (We had paid for an all inclusive vacation and yet we found ourselves spending more money on other restaurants)
3. The crew : Every time we contacted someone from the hotel staff they gave us the feeling that we are doing something wrong by talking to them. It worked - at some point we just stopped talking to them only in case of an emergency.
4. "Water park" : There are only 2 pools in the hotel and 3 slides (which my 9 year old son could not use alone as he was too Short) . more over the only kids pool closes at 17:00 pm.
If you are looking for a nice place to stay at , do your self a favor and don't come near this place.

We had an excellent experience all throughout our stay. I really appreciated the games, shows and party that the hotel made possible for us. Otherwise it would've been a very boring vacation. The room had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful.

The food is good, staff are friedly and helpful. Plenty of activities for the children.

Hotel is nice, a bit crowded and spread over different buildings. Everything that you are accustomed to have for free in other hotels, here you have to pay for, safety box 49 leva (25euro) for 7 days, room internet 49 leva, parking 20 leva a day.
Staff seems overwhelmed, lack of experience over all. Bellboy took my luggage to the room, but seemed to be unsatisfied with what I considered to be a large tip. They messed up our reservations and gave us a suite instead of a family unit, huge difference. Instead of paying one time for all, I kept presenting the credit card. It's bad psychologically speaking.
We made a complaint regarding the air conditioning unit in our room yesterday and still I am waiting for a fix.
The pool is really crowded, but they have different areas for kids of different ages, water slides, pool games, animators and more.
Restaurant has a good variety of food from junk to healthy. I haven't seen any vegetarian dishes, but I didn't really looked for it. Breakfast addresses different cultures continental, british and so on.
Overall, people are trying to offer the best. It is a paradise for families who have children, especially 4-10 group of age.

A family orientated hotel with private pools and slide (your child has to be 130cm tall to go on their own otherwise over 12). There are plenty of life guards and slide safety guards so your kids are in good hands. The pool chairs get taken early so early birds get the best places. The restaurant is clean and has a great variety if food, both cooked and cold and cater for the pizza hungry kids. Red wine is served chilled although tastey and all self service. The staff are friendly and helpful. You feel safe and relaxed here. The entertainment is good and lasts all day for both adults and kids.

Ok but stayed in better for cheaper. Staff miserable and room cleaning poor. Hotel in general a little run down lift on 4th floor didn't work for 4 days and bulbs out through out hotel making it very dull...Bath in bathroom looked like it had just been thrown in and looked dirty but enamel scratch making it look dirty (Room 509 block D). Found food plentiful and snacks good.
