Lovely place, fenced and guarded. So well kept, with 4 swimming pools, 3 beaches. We had a good time and a great vacation . No cars permitted on the compound, ideal for children.

Beautiful place. Very quiet and you get a feeling you are in the woods. Highly recommend.

My family enjoys the village - decent landscape gardening, clean pools, cool nights in the height of the season, variety of activities. This time I was disappointed by the lack of communication and poor housekeeping. Nobody told us that housekeeping would be done once in every three days. I only found out in a review I read online from a guest complaining about the same. The circumstances required it for the safety of everyone, there's no arguing about it, but at least management could have lent a spare broom to sweep out the sand that was piling up. Foot towel had not been provided when we arrived. Housekeeping came on the third day at a very inconvenient time when the baby usually had a nap. Obviously, I refused to let the housekeepers in and clean. Our one-and-a-half year-old boy constantly ran across the room, collecting sand underneath his feet and dropping it on the bed. On the last day but one from our week's holiday, we got a nice clean-up and it felt great. We met other families who stayed at the village and they said they'd found a broom in their apartments. Next time we decide to stay at Santa Marina I hope we won't have this bad luck. Besides, I wish staff would stop giving us the 10% restaurant discount card as we already have a couple of them and try something new. At check-in staff also gave us two vouchers for the paid beach area owned by the village but there was an option to play a game of tennis so I would have gone for that if I had been welcome to choose.

It is a surprisingly large place, still recovering after covid pandemic. Placed on a hill it is hardly wheelchair or baby stroller accessible. Food is mediocre. There is a human traffic overpass to a beach which is shared with a camping sight and I am told in a strong season the beach is overcrowded. As an incident there was no hot water for the first evening of our stay. Staff was slow to react.

I am afraid I can not rate this place with more stars.

In my opinion the place rests on its old laurels and needs to invest more effort in the management given that I followed a friend s recommendation from some time ago.

We were asked to pay for our stay at the very beginning during check-in - something that is unusual in my experience and leaves a strange unwelcoming aftertaste as the first impression of the place.

We had issues with the water in our apartment - basically there was no ability to have cold water. The options were hot or boiling hot water (and here I am not talking about freezing cold water but one that is neutral). This was a problem for all of the syncs including the shower and was obviously not something that can be fixed on the fly.

Another issue is that properties were not cleaned on a daily basis but instead on every three days - a strange decision about hygiene given the pandemic and the suggestions about regular sanitising and disinfection that are suggested by the medical authorities.

We faced difficulties with the stairs in regards to our baby stroller, especially when going on a dinner in the restaurants.

The apartment was cozy and having the essentials apart from the aforementioned and had a good garden view.

Speaking of the garden - it is well maintained and there is a great variety of plant species and there are multiple outdoor activities.

We had a great time. The village has everything you need from restaurants to supermarkets to basic holiday clothings swimwear and flip-flops. It is well maintained and staffs are very polite. If you can not walk for long then they have shuttles to take you from one place to another. Its very green and picturesque. Perfect place for a family holiday. Rooms are very spacious and have kitchenette and iron board and iron. Dining table and spare bed if you need.

Excellent service. The studios are clean and quite big. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The complex has everything you need on a holiday. I would definitely visit again!
