This veterinarian is the ONLY one I really trust to take my precious pets too. They are literally like family to me. My husband has used this veterinarian since the 80 s and I ve used him since 1996. He would come out to the Electra Rodeo Grounds to worm and vaccinate my horse Boston. He saved my favorite dog s life the day after Christmas by performing cancer surgery on a day he d normally be closed. The cancer is aggressive and unfortunately came back as is typical of this type and I made an emergency call Saturday to him and he was out of town yet, promptly called me back so I could get Teddy Bear in on Monday. He even called me back the following SUNDAY (again when he would normally be closed) to see my dog on emergency. Now that s a REAL doctor who actually cares and treats you and your fur babies as actual people, not numbers. He puts his patients over profits! I have faith in him and his skilled hands as a surgeon and I know he will always do his best to treat my dog and help him get well because he s a GREAT doctor who s passionate and caring about his patients.

Update: our fur-baby ultimately had to be put to sleep due to this horrible cancer returning with a vengeance (his mom unfortunately had passed from the same thing) but it wasn t from a lack of trying on the vet s part. If it weren t for Dr. Lacy, we wouldn t have had seven more precious months with Teddy. We re happy Teddy Bear lived a full and wonderful life (he was 10 which is the average life expectancy of pit bulls) and we know we ll see him again one day! We re very grateful for everything Dr. Lacy has done for us, he and his sweet staff are angels.

Local vet. Dr. Lacy is very personable and always honest with you. He gives you the best options for your furry friends and doesn't overcharge. I've really enjoyed taking all of my dogs here over the past 3 years.

Took us in without an appointment and addressed our situation. They were courteous, caring and kind. In fortunately we lost Sweet Sue today but no due to the lack of effort by Lacey s . I will continue to bring Mr. Buster Brown for all his Veterinary needs.

This vet is amazing!! So thankful that I saw him! He saved my dogs life no joke! She had swallowed a trebble hook and it as lodged in her esophagus. Two other vets told us she would need surgery but this guy handled it like the pro he is. He was able to not only get the hook removed but she has had no adverse affects at all. She has fully recovered and we are so thankful for his willingness to help us. Highly recommend him to anyone!

I've gone to him for years bc he always seemed to care for the animals he treated and also I like it when I'm told whats going on and what the game plan is for treatment and he's always been reasonably priced and very helpful but the last time I was there he was a little cranky I don't hold it against him we all have off days

I took my cat for a broken leg he was rude as hell. Not only was he rude but the cast came off 2 days later an he expected me to pay the same price for another one. As I went to ask him a question the first visit ever he rudely told me be quiet. Never again. Would not recommend. The main st vet is the place to go

My healthy active small poodle Izzy ( who is my young granddaughters companion after her mother passed) received her annual shots and flea treatment at Lacys. The next morning Izzy is barely responding. My granddaughter is devastated. I realized it was most likely a reaction since she was perfectly healthy prior to the treatment. I rushed her up to Lacy clinic and was waiting outside when the doors opened only to be told "I could pay for an emergency visit and they would see her now or they could fit me in after 9 at a charge"!!! I took Izzy home and called another vet clinic to see if I could bring her in. The lady said please hold for a moment and put the vet himself on the phone! The vet told me probable cause of Izzys condition, exactly what to expect and what I could do to help Izzy get better...at no charge!!! I dont mind paying a fee, I realized it was most likely a reaction, I just dont like the idea money was the main concern with them. My main concern is my granddaughter and her Izzy. As a medical professional (but I'm no Vet) I would tend to the situation immediately and money would not be priority. I like to work with staff who shares the values. Maybe I'm wrong but I would not recommend this clinic.

First let me say that the vet seemed very knowledgeable and I have complete faith in his abilities. My complaint has to do with customer service. My dog ate rat poison, so, I called the emergency line. It's a recording and I received no reply, so, I drove 30 minutes to the clinic. 10 minutes before opening, we spoke to the receptionist in the parking lot. She said they would open at 8:00am. At 7:55, they opened the door, turned the sign to open and said if we wanted to be seen now, there would be an additional $75.00 emergency fee because we were outside of normal business hours. Remember, I called the emergency line - no reply. We checked in and the vet walked in - perturbed - at 8:10 (normal business hours). The back of the poison box says to advise your vet of the use of a particular blood clotting vitamin . I did this and the response that I received was,"Yes, I know that. Now, you can stop doing your research and let me treat the dog". So here's the deal, I don't go to the vet expecting free service, and, I know that there is an emergency fee outside of normal business hours. What I want is care for my pet. Just take care of the dog, take the money and treat people respectfully. In the end, he said, normally people call the emergency line and he tells them how to treat this situation at home so they don't have to come in. SERIOUSLY!!! I CALLED THE EMERGENCY LINE!!!

I would not recommend this vet to anyone. The receptionist was very nice but that's where it ends. Dr. Lacy was very rude! To be a vet, he acted like he was scared of my German Shepherd. Very unprofessional. He did absolutely nothing to help us. I paid the office visit but will never go back there.
