The permanent (and free) exhibition of Italian design is beautiful, relaxing and well-cared for the outdoor area with the bar and the place to rest in the shade
Beautiful place, probably not very safe during the night. Still, a must place to visit in Milano
The exhibitions here are often replaced and will be available when you have time.
One of the Milanese cultural institutions! The structure is rational and monumental! The interior is large and bright, with a wonderful staircase leading to the exhibition floor. There is a well-known bar and a panoramic restaurant.
Excellent choice and variety of dishes, excellent chef, show cooking and excellent service. Spectacular view both day and evening.
Monumental architecture of the Mussolinian era for this temple dedicated to design. See: Ettore Stotthass and Rick Owens.
A mix of culture and modernity. The events organized in the rear garden are always a certainty
Beside Parco Sempione, it hosts temporary and permanent exhibitions
Cocktails of emotions, sensations and spaces. Everyone with an open mind. Someone even in open spaces. For every occasion. But on certain occasions even more.
Very interesting museum, the current exhibition Broken Nature is highly recommended.
Attention: explanations only in Italian and English, the museum is huge, definitely 2-3 hours to plan.
Fantastic display case, original and apt set up for the photo exhibition on Luigi Ghirri.
Years ago it was better, tickets were cheaper and the exhibitions were more serious. Now he frequents more and more people and has become more commercial ...
A bar in the heart of Milanese culture, open and bright spaces, a coffee on the fly or sitting at the table. A visit to the exhibition or reading a good book. For curious tourists, schools and much more
Are you looking for a special place in Milan where to have a very good drink watching the city skyline from the center of the city, sitting on a design chair on the roof of one of its most famous museum? Terrazza Triennale it's the place. Open mostly on reservation this beautiful terrace can be available also for normal bar service. Use Triennale website to check opening hours and calendar
You should always take a tour to see the current exhibitions in Milan. I recommend going late to avoid the queue and take advantage of the all-inclusive ticket to see more exhibitions on the same evening. Splendid location also to make a great breakfast since it is equipped with a bar. Also see the library.
The speaker whose surname I do not remember but with hours 17.30 of 7/10/20 really exciting, thanks
Very suggestive elegant place with a wonderful view! I had dinner and I must say that you eat very well with excellent quality food show cooking show in show!
Very nice place and impeccable service. Great for aperitifs or parties.
Siamo andati per un aperitivo. Location molto bella con vista sul parco sempione. Ottimi drinks
If you are into design and architecture make sure you visit Triennale in your trip to Milan. A landmark in the Design & Architecture history of Milan. At any time of the year it hosts a wide variety of exhibitions plus the permanent Design Museum collection. All the exhibitions and events are well-curated. Some of the exhibitions are free entrance while others require a ticket that can be purchased at the ticket office at the entrance.
If you love rationalism it is a must. If you want to see the mysterious bathrooms of de chirico it touches you. For design it is a reference. Nice even if you only pass by the Sempione park for a coffee or an aperitif. Gourmet restaurant on the terrace.
The shows for the exhibition "21st. century. Design after Design" as part of the XXI Triennial International Exhibition in Milan from 2 Apr - 12 Sep 2016 are very interesting.
Beyond the very special loction and service, I was very disappointed with the cuisine.
A pasta all'amatriciana, served in such a place, should either maintain the quality of the original recipe, or exceed it in terms of creativity. Instead we got a pale tourist twist (soggy bacon in an insufficiently pulled sauce). Merciful veil on the other first, which I was forced to send back to the kitchen due to too much salt.
Salt too present also in the bill, especially in relation to the very disappointing experience.
Sin.
Near Sempione, It's a sort of Modern Museum. Large doors and windows caught every Sunshine.
Towards the future of international space exploration
Exhibitions for all tastes, innovative, arranged in an intelligent way. Very friendly staff.
Historical cultural center for the Milanese and for anyone visiting the city. It always presents both free and paid events and with an indoor and outdoor bar you always have the opportunity to relax inside.
I went as a volunteer for a charity auction for a non-profit organization for children in difficulty. It is always at the forefront with very current exhibitions and there is an air of "wealth"
Spectacular is the museum inside the objects from the beginning of 1940 until 1980, a real dive into the past curated with style and taste. Extremely friendly staff.
Everything beautiful leaves the cleanliness of the bathrooms to be desired
Nice place nice slow view in the service but good food
Nice place to visit in Milan! Rich of beautiful experience and exhibitions !
In the center of Milan one of the most "international" places where to make a Milanese bee or a dinner. On the roof of the Triennale with a wonderful view of the Sempione Park and the city skyline. The aperitif is not very rich for the city average, but price in the norm. For the aperitif you can't book, yes for dinner.
It was an opportunity to see Milan up close ... the Triennale is a truly qualified place full of stimuli. With Fuorisalone they have outdone themselves.
The museum itself is a classic in Milan but the real must is the permanent design.
I visited the exhibition on the history of the Milan Fair. Very interesting!
Several free exhibitions throughout the year, with occasional events of various kinds. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the exhibits are always interesting. During the warm seasons the garden with bar is also open.
Upon reservation there are also activities for children on the weekends.
Being the only design museum in Italy, it is definitely a place worth visiting.
Always fascinating to talk to an event in this location!
I am attending the Panerai watch activity at the museum and the chef Stefano Cerveni from the Terrazza Triennale restaurant is pretty nice, so I give the restaurant and the chef five star right away!
Ample spaces, evocative, intriguing. But the neophyte visitor is left to himself. Absurd the total absence of parking, even for the simple stop.
Amazing and different. The restaurant there was amazing
Every time a magnificent experience. Obligatory visit for design lovers
Lovely setting, excellent for a date. The aperitivo is quite good in term of drinks (do not expect unlimited food here), but the restaurant in the evening is the actual gem. Portions are adequate and personnel extremely courteous. I was in a hurry with a few friends today and they took my order for the kitchen before it opened and served us right on time.
One of the symbols of Milan, and of art, in the world. Organize interesting exhibitions, sometimes even free.
Great experience to access live that is that you studied at the university!
I visited the exhibition connected to the Expo: exceptionally large, beautiful works on display, high-impact installations
It is a space where conferences, exhibitions, etc ... take place
Infinite choice of permanent and temporary exhibitions in a very pleasant context. The garden is the centerpiece
The view was nice, the food bland and if you are lucky you may even get a flying bug (when I tried to tell the waiter he said that he doesn't speak english sigh...). The wine was good though.
A fundamental place to visit for the culture of the city, always with very interesting exhibitions, it changes skin very often and therefore it is worthwhile to come to the pension several times a year to fully enjoy it.
The cost of catering is objectively a bit high, but it is known that something is always spent inside museums
Very interesting museum that hosts exhibitions of various kinds (and has also hosted monsters of various kinds).
Multifunctional building, museum, events venue with bar service restaurants, toilets, indoor park included in the Sempione park. An important meeting point and culture for the city of Milan. The demolition of various architectural barriers is desirable.
The Triennale is the Triennale. The terrace restaurant is also fantastic.
It is a beautiful space, the center of art and design exhibitions.
The structure alone would be worth the visit, then there is the permanent and the exhibitions that are set up there are cared for and accessible to children.
Place within the Sempione Park center of numerous exhibitions and cultural events. Admission is free for most of the rooms. To visit!!!!!
