Best department store in Milan, shure much smaller than Selfridges of London, prices are aligned to alike places. Shop there sometimes since is the only luxury shop open till 9 pm or 10 pm. Nice cocktail bar on the roof top.

I am more of a frequent visitor to the top floor where you can find Italian wines and food excellence ... The outdoor restaurant next to the cathedral is also pleasant with the close view of the spiers, excellent aperitifs.

In my opinion, Rinascente has become a warehouse for tourists.
High prices all look but from what I noticed the Milanese buy little.
A ball for the plastic Christmas tree costs 19 euros! It is not Murano glass!
Frankly, I walk around and drink a great coffee on the top floor and then I go.
Of course if I buy a bag of a specific brand or price I don't go to Rinascente.
I repeat is a purely tourist destination sin for us Milanese!

Very famous and undoubtedly amazing terrace. Kind aperitif but it would take a little more class in the service and character in the drink. I chose a qualified proposal "not for everyone" and it was actually quite watered down. But under the Madonnina we are still happy
