When I was a little girl, and it dates back to the second half of the last century, I told everyone that I wanted to run away from home to go to live at La Rinascente. I loved the smell and especially the escalators.

I was checked because my wallet triggered the alarm when I went out. Understandable and nothing to object to. Only the type bothered me very much: my bag was taken away, passed on from one employee to the other - a total of 4 times - so that I hardly came. Nobody spoke English. Then I vehemently asked to stay with my bag, since I have valuables and a passport in it. This is not how you should deal with customers.

I waited ten minutes for the saleswoman to finish chatting with those before me, and then I was told at 9:59 pm "we closed the boxes" ... specifically that I had to pay for a single item. From a store that proposes itself as a temple it is unacceptable.

great view of the duomo, food is good but not great, as well as the coffee. the pricing of the coffee though is outrageous (6 euros) given that it was just ok. compare it to the coffee (and food) of the nearby al cantinone and you'll know what i'm talking about. so guys from la rinascente, location alone doesn't warrant a 6 euro coffee

In other shopping centers, customer service communication is a strong point, not to mention LED displays and / or brand research on the screen ..... etc.-

Beautiful store on several floors, exactly in front of the cathedral, you can find clothing and accessories of any kind and on the top floor there is also a restaurant. To be seen at least once, an iconic place in the city of Milan and above all in the center, also the prices are not that high.

If you have no problem with four or five-digit spending totals for a purchase and would like to see Gucci, Prada, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana and Co. absolutely gathered in one place, you are welcome to go there! Fun place to shop for fashionistas who like *expensive* brands. Probably not the best idea to go on a Saturday afternoon like I did. Reminded me very much of Harrods in London or Bloomingdales in NYC, where there are separate booths or corners for each name brand, and entire floors dedicated to a certain type of item (first floor perfume/makeup, second purses, etc). For those women who are interested in slightly more affordable fashion, I would recommend visiting the Annex! Even then, it s in the $50-$200 range for a clothing item. The top floor has a yummy selection of food but very cramped! I would go to the cafe on the bottom floor.

.... Impeccable structure, cleanliness and order are impeccable, the staff professionally trained! If you are looking for the big names you are in the right place ..... personally, however, I consider the quality / price ratio excessive .... the only exception is the cosmetic department on the ground floor. Possibility to have a meal or a high quality snake!

For those who love shopping it is a business paradise. 6 floors of elegance and refinement. Upstairs you can enjoy good sushi or gastronomic dishes of various flavors, or simply drink a coffee or an aperitif in front of the spiers of the Duomo.
