Amazing stuff. Closest thing I've tasted to true Spanish Pata Negra!

Worst customer service ever. They do not answer emails or phone so be warned. My meat was delivered rotten with no dry ice in it and three months later still will not respond to request for a refund. Buy local and skip the headache.

I have been fortunate to experience Italian and French pancetta on a consistent basis over the past 10+ years, simply amazing alternative to bacon. I ordered a slab of pancetta from La Quercia, Des Moines, IA. Wanted to see if a US company could produce 'pancetta '. I found the pancetta from La Quercia to be extremely fatty, 90%+, really not edible, very disappointing. Constructively emailed La Quercia, received a standard 'thank you' for your comment. If you want real pancetta, go for the real stuff from Italy, do not buy from La Quercia.

Proud that this is made in Iowa and as far as I'm concerned it is TASTY !!!!
