Great food, great atmosphere. Waitress was a little stressed with a large group, but did good. Recommend it if you appreciate good food.

Service was great! Ambience was spectacular on the front porch; although we couldve used a light fan or mister at times. Food was also great, but could've used some seasoning... especially s&p. Overall a great experience and well plated and exectued dishes.

Lucy is an Amazing manager. She resolve my small issue quick and easy with a meal on the house my kids were so happy. I was blown away with the way she handle the situation. Pizza and fries delicious I ll be going back . Lucy, I give you 10 star !!!!

We ordered the Ahi tower appetizer, which was fantastic. I would go and just order that as my entre. I ordered the New York Blue Cheese Penne, which was really good, but very rich. The steak was tossed in with the sauce, so it was over cooked, but I still enjoyed it. My husband got a burger, which was supposed to be stuffed with Brie, but the cheese was on top of the patty. We were not impressed with the burger for the price. Our server was new and my husband asked for a side Ceasar salad instead of fries, but she brought both and charged us. Considering the current circumstances with restaurants and the pandemic, we decided not to make a big deal about it and just paid the extra.

The ambiance was nice. The music was nice, but a little loud. If the restaurant was full, it would be hard to hear across the table.

Overall, we liked the experience, but felt it was a little overpriced. I am interested in some of the BOGO take out specials they are currently running though, so we may give those a try.

The chef clearly knows his craft; the flavor pairings in my salmon and prawn were amazing (Tequila/Coconut sauce ).

My wife s ribeye was excellent, made perfectly to order with a semi-sweet red wine reduction.

This is the fine dining Lancaster has needed. I would place the price points at around $$$.

Absolutely mesmerizing !!! The most delightful dining experience I have had in the AV so far. The ambiance, the service, and, most importantly, the food - top notch.

Surprisingly, the prices are fairly affordable for this kind of elevated dining, and comparable to regular chain steakhouses.

This is an ideal spot for a (the first) date, granted you strive to impress him/her with sophisticatedly designed food compositions and invariably unmatched service - without burning a hole in your pocket.

We wanted something different locally & we weren't disappointed. Our first time here. We ordered the Linguine & Clams and the Salmon with Mash Potatoes. Umm, umm so good. Top it off with Home made Tirramasu. It was a very awesome evening. Thanking Riner, our server for an pleasant dining experience. We will be back with friends.

I was taken there for my birthday. I had some fantastic kale salad with a wonderful vinaigrette, mushrooms as an app, and their freshly made Margharita pizza with fresh mozzarella and basil. Service was fantastic. Very nice atmosphere!

Service was fantastic, food was okayish, restaurant ambience was... bright, not quite what I would expect from an upscale restaurant.
What was disturbing was the experience of the people at the next table. The lady said her food was good, but the man.. undercooked lobster, overly salted salmon, his dish was pretty inedible, and that was after waiting an obscene amount of time for their food. Even worse, no manager on site meant they paid full price for a pretty dismal experience. The gentleman was pretty nice about it considering how bad his meal was, but no one wants to drop $100+ for bad food.
I hope this place works out the kinks (and gets much better quality filet mignon), but it's back to Broken Bit or Santa Clarita for us.

Amazing food, amazing service and a clean facility! I had the chicken Alfredo pasta it was amazing I also had there Calamari it s the best I ve ever ate! I recommend going here!

Food was incredible at an incredible value. Lucy the owner was there and has been hustling daily under this crisis. We had takeout and the food was just as good as it was freshly served from the kitchen. I highly recommend this place as we found a beautiful new spot. A must try and the bread is incredible.

This is an amazing restaurant on the boulevard I normally don t hang out here but this is a great place for you to come and check out the great food and the service and the people are great the owner is amazing and the cook is super talented you just tell him what you want and he ll make it for you to enjoy this place .
I ve been to many restaurants all over the world I would recommend this place for a good time . Great food and great wine selections and great energy here!!

Bone-in Pork Chop was excellent! First time there so I didn't want to go in hot on the Angus Rib Eye until I tested the waters. Definitely trying the Rib Eye next based on the success of this meal!! Feel safe first timers...everything was really good.

We had a terrible experience. The waitress from hell served us. Orders were not correct, lamb chop delivered instead of pork chop ordered. Wines were not correct and blamed on bar tender. Didn t bring bread like all the tables around us had and when we asked for some she said I didn t think you wanted any . What??? We will try the restaurant again because management tried to fix things for us and the food we had was good tasting.

Great atmosphere. The fish was amazing, wife's ahi was a hit overcooked but she left it to the chef for doness.

Each time I come and try something new and it doesn t disappoint. I had a pizza today that was cooked perfectly and had the perfect amount of sauce. Delicious!!!! I came in with a big appetite today and the pizza wasn t enough so I ordered the chorizo empanadas, best choice I could have made. The dough was flaky and the chorizo filling was so damn good. Can t wait to come back and try something else, everything has been exceptional so far. The owner Harry came by and spoke to me for a few minutes and added an extra positive to the meal, Very good people and excellent food. What else can you ask for? Do yourself a favor and order the empanadas, maybe order two because they re freaking amazing.

VERY UNSATISFIED with their food ! worst meal experience ever my steak was undercooked and my partners burger was uncooked and cold in the center we waited a whole HOUR for our meal just to receive them in poor conditions not worth the $67 bucks. Not even a Manager to come and apologize very unprofessional on his behalf. The only person that did a Great Job and deserved a Tip on our behalf for his Hard work was the Server he deserves a Raise and a Higher Position. Very Polite Patient and Understanding It wasn't his fault for doing his job It was poor management from the Manager and Lack of experience from the cook. Another thing I noticed was No- Social Distancing at all! someone that wasn't our server kept seating people behind and around us. It was supposed to be a very special day Celebrating our Anniversary. Not the best meal to serve to a pregnant person.

This is a new place that has been open for about four months now. The executive chef is the best chef within hundreds of miles. Classically trained in France at Le Cordon Bleu, he makes the most amazing dishes and meals to please any palate. Harry and Lucy, the owners, are amazing hosts with the biggest hearts. This place is well worth the drive. Great wine list as well.

The place was very nice ,food was good ,but not worth the price ,me my wife and daughter went the bill was $130 ,I probably wont go back anytime soon because of the price ,if they lowered the price we would probably go back a few times a year.I hope they listen to the local customers

This place is amazing. I went here with my family and friends to try it out. I am glad they enjoyed it as so did I. The food was wonderful and worth what we had to pay. We got the Calamari, Chicken wings, Steak, and Pork chops. The service was nice as well my waitress was very nice and bought everything we needed. I recommend you to try this place out.

I had wanted to visit since it opened, and I was not disappointed! Worth the wait!
The mussels in the white wine sauce and the mushrooms were SO good!
They short rib bourguignon fell off the bone, delicious.
Our server was super nice and food came out at an amazing speed. To finish off the amazing meal, i would recommend the house made tiramisu. It was creamy and had a great subtle coffee flavor, super fresh.

The staff and space are nice, but when you go to a French restaurant you expect French cuisine. The only thing French on the menu were the fries. Paid 42+ tip for 2 burger and fries plates with 2 iced teas. Meat was raw inside, not well done, and onion was not grilled as requested. Sad.

We want today for lunch with my wife and we loved it. Food was great and staff was nice and friendly. We feel like this going to be our new lunch place.

Fine dining in the A.V food was awesome, i had the filet mignon. Beautiful remodel though you can only dine outdoors. And stimulus food deal to take advantage of. I highly recommend them.

Went during this lovely pandemic and I have to say not disappointed. The food was flavorful and fresh. I got the tri tip risotto and hot wings. Wings were good and fresh, the risotto was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. It was absolutely delicious and very savory. Every bite was amazing. The complimentary bread was really good. I had to make myself stop eating eat it. But if requested they will give you bread to go. The atmosphere was lovely and very sophisticated especially if you sit near the fountain.

We have dined at this restaurant several times during the pandemic as we want to contribute to our local businesses. We have largely had good experiences with the food & service until last night. We had a 4 person reservation @730, upon arrival the restaurant staff had made a mistake and wrote down 2 people (reservation was verified on open table for 4) and only had tables for 2 outside on the street. They offered to seat us on the sidewalk & would move us in once a table was free. It was cold & windy but we accepted. After ordering some starters we asked if they could bring out a heater, we were told they didn t have any more and had been waiting on the city to supply more. She added sorry that your cold but it s really hard for us to work in the cold too REALLY, now your issue is my concern as well!?!? Its November in the AV, how long are you going to wait?! Thirty minutes later our waitress stated she could seat us in the patio area but not together, we were so cold that we accepted but we were sitting in separate 2 party tables that were not much better from the wind and not close to any heaters. There was a 2 person party sitting at a 4 person table which was just being served desert & leaving soon. I questioned why they couldn t at least be asked if they would move, perhaps enticing them by offering them complimentary desert not happening. After another 10 minutes the wives of the party went to the car to warm up and I asked for the order to go. Some 15 minutes later we received the order & the bill. While I recognize that this is a tough time for business owners it s equally a tough time for customers. The staff took no ownership of their mistake, only to say sorry but it s really hard during Covid , never realizing that it s equally hard on us, and that we can always choose to stay home & have food delivered by any restaurant. There was an opportunity to redeem the night by offering to comp an appetizer not happening! This poor customer service along with below average steak dinners is why we will not return again will the AV ever learn?!?!

We went there and were immediately seated. The hostess and waitress(Roxanne) were great and very attentive. We ordered a pasta dish and a pizza. After over an hour we asked to talk to the manager. She walked past our table to talk to others. We flagged her down and she said she would find out where our food was. We never saw her again. The pizza finally came but the pasta didn t come. The pizza was good. Needs a new manager!

Awful experience. I would not recommend coming here. Our friends wanted to try this place as our new monthly get together (normally we go to broken bit), my boyfriend and I decided to give it a try first. We expected it to be busy based off of reviews, but it was dead on a Saturday night and now we know why. Server kept needing reminding what we ordered and was not attentive to our drinks. My boyfriend got the pork chops and I ordered the chicken and cheese tortellini. My dish was great! But his was not. Mashed potatoes had no flavor just like the pork chop and the additions on the plate did not compliment. He did not eat it. I ended sharing my pasta. When the server asked how it was we were honest and she said she would talk to the manager and get it off the check because they just want to make sure we come back. A while later another man comes up and asks the same thing and we tell him the same. He takes the pork chop and apologizes. He asks if we want the pasta boxed up and we say yes. The waitress comes back and said she talked to her manager and is getting it taken off. She asks if we want more wine (finally) and we both order a glass of moscato. She brings back one glass. Then she comes back saying her manager wouldn't take off the pork chop (which we didn't eat) but would give us dessert. Seriously?? We didn't eat or like it and you told us we would get it off the check. Needless to say we did not have a pleasant experience and will not be coming back. We share this experience with our friends and we will be continuing our Broken Bit tradition.

Very disappointing for the prices. Virtually every food item was tough; Chicken, Lobster, and even vegetables. Not going back.

Food was good and the service was decent. Not 5 stars because when the waiter brought spoons for dessert he set them on the table without a napkin.

I challenge you to find a better steak in Lancaster!!
Great food, great service!

The food, in my opinion, was fantastic! But, there is one problem: the service. The restaurant was pretty much empty and it was just me and my family there. We all got a light lunch; appetizers and salads. It took us two hours just to wonder when were going to get our check. TWO HOURS!! And we didn t see our waitress for about thirty to forty minutes at a time. Very aggravating. I mean, if your patience is extremely thick, I would recommend going there. But otherwise, I wish they would work on realizing that people have other places to go, you know. Otherwise, really good food. :)

It was a really beautiful restaurant and we really loved the French theme. Live band was playing and was lovely to listen to during dinner. Food was really good although the Filet Mignon was a little bland. Calamari was excellent and my wife's Lamb Chops were amazing. Service was amazing, everyone was very attentive to us from the moment we walked in. Will definitely come back for another date night.

My first experience...superb.. Chef Marshall is truly a genius when it comes to tastebud...the dough from the pizza was so light that it didn't feel so filling... Everything was great...

Food was phenomenal and setting was top notch. First rate presentation. If you are looking for fine dining without driving to LA, this would be the place.

Food was ok, not great. It s better than McDonald s. They have plates set out when seated, plates had a grease film, like they were used and just wiped off, maybe the dishwasher was defective. Will try them again when my chronic diarrhea stops. I gave this place another try, I received coconut shrimp that was not properly deveined the poop sack was still in a few of the shrimp and it was cold. The rib eye steak was very thinly cut, was bland. The mushroom burgundy sauce they gave was very salty. I will not go here ever again or olives Mediterranean, same owner. They buy their food from smart and final so you know the quality of their ingredients is generic and everything is pre made. They have their tables very close to each other so much for social distances the person behind me kept hitting my chair. This was a poor dining experience. Food was way overpriced! Save your money!

Gave my name when I walked in for phone order and waited....moments pass then I was asked if I am being helped I said yes she took my name. 25 mins later I ask again and they act like it was forgotten and made a comment like it was my fault cuz I said I was being helped when I thought I was. It was busy I get it but, no one there is taking initiative or responsibility.

Definitely check this restaurant out. Food was good, I was a little dissapointed they only had a brunch menu available since I really wanted to try the boullibase, the eggs benedict I had was the best I've had in the AV. We also ordered the steak and eggs and it was excellent quality cooked and seasoned to perfection. The bottom less mimosas were great as well.

The food was delicious and the staff was attentive. I liked the atmosphere and the decor inside. Will visit this place again.

Me and my husband went Wednesday night to celebrate our anniversary. Our dinner reservation were for 6:30pm. We got there about 10 minutes early and was seated right away. There were only 3 other couples there so we had the full attention of the wait staff. Our waiter took very good care of us.
Our food was prompt, hot and oh so delicious.
I ordered the calamari and my husband ordered the coconut shrimp for appetizers. We shared a huge Caesar salad. Our main course was bouillabaisse for me and a 24oz bone in ribeye steak for my husband.
Everything was perfectly cooked and the serving size could feed 2.
They gave us free dessert in celebration of our anniversary.
Thank you La Papillon for a wonderful evening. We will be returning.

Great atmosphere and delicious food. Loved every minute of it.

First time...last time. Went for a family dinner last night with reservations made days in advance for our party of nine, having been told that we would have use of the private party room. Instead we shared the room with 2 other groups, the size of our group and larger (very loud, very close quarters). Drinks and appetizers were brought in a timely manner, however, one of our party had to request a new drink because the glass had lipstick residue from a previous customer. We then proceeded to wait...and wait...and wait for our main orders (which were ordered straight off the menu with no customizations or added complexity). At 1 hour wait time, one in our party went to ask if the wait time meant something was wrong. The response given was that the long wait was "normal" and we would be so "blown away" by the food that it would be "worth the wait." Nearly 1.5 hours after ordering our entrees began to trickle over to the table 2-3 plates at a time (which left some finished entirely as others barely began eating). With the exception of 1 or 2 dishes, the food was barely more than edible. From game-y, overcooked chicken to a $20 plate of 5 small-ish raviolis, it was certainly not worth the wait. Two in our party even ordered the same dish, one was fine while the other was intolerably spicy. By the time we finally got our checks(that were split and clarified at the time we ordered), it took 2 rounds of corrections to get checks that were remotely close to correct and then another 15 minutes waiting for change to be brought back. All the while (from the time we ordered to the time we left), no one was offered refills of drinks (not even water refills) and no plates were cleared from the table (appetizer and dinner plates were all still on the table while checks were being corrected). Finally, as we were getting up to leave our server took two plates to "clear them out of our way." Unfortunately, our first time there will be our last. The only things we were "blown away" by were the horribly poor service, less-than-promised dishes, and the nearly $60 total gratuity tacked onto our party's checks. 2 stars for the 2 acceptable dishes out of 9 ordered and our (at the very least) polite waitress, but 10/10 would not recommend to others.

I ordered 3 pizzas, 2 were margarita and 1 was pepperoni. Honestly one of the nastiest, hardest pizza's I have ever had. The pizza looked old. I will not be going back.

This is a great location to celebrate a special day or if you want to have some fine dining. The Restaurant Decor is beautiful and the ambiance is very nice.
We celebrated my Mom's Birthday with 20 guest at their private room and had a delightful experience. Great service, food, and ambiance.

Great place! Fine food, classy feel and pocket friendly!

Wonderful staff, everything is cooked to perfection including the clams which isn t easy to do to get cooked but know when to stop before they get chewy. The decor is also top notch. They have a nice outdoor dining area.

This spot is my favorite. I go to plenty of restaurants but to this restaurant I constantly return again and again. The team is very helpful and the food they cook is so appetizing. I never decline to have a decent dinner here. Highly recommended.

I had the best New Years experience in my life. I can not say enough of the beautifull decor and ambience. OMG the salmon tasted heavenly . I highly recommend this place. I can not wait to go back and enjoy my birthday party next week there.

horrible experience. $254 bill for moscato served in a champagne flute that she forgot, a steak that was asked to be well but served rare and for a waitress who didnt hear anything we said. when I told her my steak was rare and I had to return it, she said but did you like it. huh.....the atmosphere and music was nice. but we have no desire to return.
