Sumptuous establishment both far and close to the tumult of the medina.
Enchanting and luxurious environment that will allow you to dive into the refinement of the building and its interiors.
The gardens are superb and we can only salute the work of the landscapers.
Note that the restaurant reservations management lacks a little rigor: our name is not found on the booking book ... Without consequences in the end.
If you have the opportunity (and the budget), staying there will be a delight, and they will pick you up at the airport, in Jaguar. :-)

Dark, bad vibes. Staff not friendly. Lunch buffet is not worth the price. Uniforms in restaurant not consistent. All with different length shirts, some tucked and some not tucked. Looks like poorly managed place. Disappointing given the long-standing reputation. Has potential

Very luxurious hotel, outside the walls of the Medina. Already the exterior shows all its splendor. It is not necessary to be a guest of the hotel (which means spending hundreds of euros even just for one night) in order to at least have access to the gardens, open to anyone (provided they are in suitable clothes). The only problem is the rather reduced timetable for access: 11-16

Incredibly beautiful and elegant place that's takes you back to the days of when Winston Churchill stayed here. Stunningly beautiful both inside and outside. The grounds are immaculately kept, however. After over 20 minutes of sitting outside at the terrace restaurant, we were ignored so gave up on getting served and went elsewhere for lunch.

Hammer and very professional massages in a peaceful and pleasant environment. The decoration of the reception and reception halls is truly majestic as well as that of the lounges and restaurants. Only negative point: the pool restaurant, the front of the hotel, and the pool really work. I felt a bit taken in a big 70s tourist machine (follow my look). Maybe I was expecting too much from this mythical hotel which finally disappointed me.

Superb hotel in Marrakech. Service is first class, onsite gardens are a wonderful display of design and landscaping art. Visits are possible just for dining and tea, and the hotel is family friendly. Tip, where smart shoes as sandals are not allowed. It is possible to walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa if you re looking to do both in one day.

Honestly one of the most appalling & overrated hot...

Honestly one of the most appalling & overrated hotel I have stayed in for the last 3 nights. Paying 5 stars prices for a 1 star minimum effort experience. We have stayed in amazing properties with Four Seasons, Aman and Bulvgari resorts around the world. Service at the front in La Mamounia was horrid & snotty for the price we paid. We received the minimum smiles or service. Check in and check out are done with most mechanical efficiency to yield the most profits. They didn't even ask how our stay was as they needed our sewage smelling room for the next guest (see below reference).

However service by the pool and the restaurant was exceptional. Lunch by the pool is 75 per person for buffet, not inclusive of drinks. It is a tad pricey but worth the value.

Every morning, our AC pumped in a terrible sewage smell stinking up the whole room & waking us up. We complained & minimum was done or addressed. For 700 a night here in Marrakech- the room was tiny, stinky nor came with a view. We had a view of the ac machines out onto the back of nothing. That would have been completely different in the league of Four Seasons, Aman or Ritz carlton.

I will recommend just coming in for a walk in the gardens & a drink, and spending that 700 per night in another property here in Marrakech. There are more visitors than staying guests in this property anyways. It is open to public. Definitely not worth 5 star experience for what we paid. We recommend going to Royal Mansour hotel down the road if you like to splash & indulge.

We were advised to enjoy the Mamounia brunch and booked for a Sunday morning. We were expecting a typical Moroccan setting, we were disappointed. As for the bruch, it was very varied, of uneven quality, one would tend to say disappointing so much it was expensive for the standard of living of the country, and I would say even for France. Plates are never picked up once emptied. Deus brunch, a loaf of local wine and a mint tea for 290 . We were simply disappointed.

The Mamounia Hotel, commonly known as La Mamounia,...

The Mamounia Hotel, commonly known as La Mamounia, is a five-star hotel located in Morocco. Facing the Atlas Mountains, it is located in the heart of the old city of Marrakech, in the west. Like the Majorelle garden, the Koutoubia mosque or the Jemaa el-Fna square, this palace is considered by many to be a "mythical" place in the city. It is the property of the National Office of Railways (ONCF), the City of Marrakech, and the Moroccan Deposit Office.

Beautiful mythical Palace of Marrakech that we do not need to praise, because it has its followers, since if you can not stay, there is the possibility to have a drink, either in one of the lounges or squarely outside in the gardens.

The place is beautiful, we went for a cocktail at the edge of the garden. We were surprised because in a palace of this notoriety we waited for a more "attentive" service we had our cocktails without anything else at 230 dma we can expect more .. by cons you can enter to visit and circulate for visit the garden

Beautiful rooms, excellent service. My son broke his puzzle box and a staff member scoured the souk to replace it. My daughter was entranced by the quacking doorman, who spent a lot of time amusing her with his duck voice.

A very luxury hotel with a beautiful garden. No entry fee, you could just go to take photos. Staff are nice even you are not staying there. You also can enjoy an afternoon tea there but a very pricey one.
DAH 70 for a small pot of tea.
