We watched the performance of Romeo and Juliet, the action was postponed in the 30s of XX century. Great cast! Moliere s chair, in which he died on stage during the performance of the Imaginary Sick , is in its place in the gallery of busts. The beautiful hall, seats on the balcony right next to the stage (the stage is visible from the side) provide quite normal visibility for 15 , although they warn when selling tickets that there are places with very poor visibility. Do not believe a normal review. And the tickets were bought on the eve of the show, the last three tickets, really. The hall is full

This theater plays amateurs and professionals, it plays modern pieces and traditional piece. The value for money (an interesting alternative to cinema) is very good because it all to educate and have fun discovering the theater.

It is always a refined pleasure to attend a performance of French actors, as talent and diction are irreproachable. But I was less convinced by the staging of La Locandiera de Goldoni by Alain Francon which seemed to me more ideological than commedia dell'arte!

The national theatre . Great shows , they play the classic repertory . The building it's self is amazing . The bar upstairs is open before and during the mid show pause , with many sculptures and painting of actors that worked here the quality of the shows is top rate as are the costumes and stage settings . I have seen many shows here and was very content . All the shows are in french so some times I go back a second time , or read the play before I see the show .
