It s a shame not to know 48 hours in advance if a show is canceled or not during a strike! It seems that technicians can do it only 3 hours before! !!!
Impossible to come by train to Paris and organize to come in 3 hours!

The company that was hired to "watch" the entrance is a DISASTER. I came to see Britannicus and upon entering my evening was unpleasant because of this company and even more so by the person in charge of the agents "d 'welcome ". To begin with, the French comedy puts at the entrance of the personnel of this company who express themselves in a very limited French, for example:" Sir, you can not enter with that. It is obvious that the vouvoyer was not part of his lexicon. (I remind the French comedy that although this company is a service provider, it also represents the image of this establishment so putting in the entrance of people who do not speak French properly is inadmissible) then the person in charge of the agents of reception was incompetent but incredible. I explained to him that by chance friends had offered me a bottle of champagne and that of course I did not show up at the French comedy to drink it during the show. So I ask her to tell me if there was the possibility of keeping her somewhere during the show. His response was that it was not possible, so I ask him to offer me a solution and the answer was; "see that with the management" so I ask him to phone someone from the management to explain the situation to him and to that he answers me: there is no one at the management office, he must come another day. I told him his answer was not logical. The only suggestion I had was to miss my show and that if I wanted to talk to management I had to do it later. It is truly unacceptable and DEPLORABLE that a team leader does not know what to do. I had to go and ask 5 local restaurants if they could do me the favor of keeping it for me. I managed to do it and when I was about to settle in, the reception agent comes to see me and what do I see? he was making bubbles with his chewing gum, he welcomed the public while tasting and sharing his taste for a large pink chewing gum. Bravo the French comedy. !!! I see that you really take care of your image and especially the reception and attention you pay to your audience.

Extremely disappointed and even shocked by their attitude during this difficult time for everyone. Having a show reserved for this Sunday 22 December and a train reserved but canceled for the following Monday morning and knowing that the sncf will only run a few trains this weekend and next week, I asked them if it was possible to move on another date or have a credit for another show to possibly take one of the trains that will run this weekend. The person on the phone was not very understanding: nothing is possible all the dates are complete (?) And they do not manage the postponements or cancellations. The person even having the nerve to tell me that he has no way of checking if what I tell him is correct and that he even managed to go abroad by train this weekend despite the strike! !!

So message to the staff and actors: thank you kindly continue your work stoppage until next Sunday ...

The must of the country's theater. Here is the public service of the theater. The state finances professional actors who can live their art to the full. Nothing to do with the misery and the discontinuity suffered by intermittents. The result is therefore up to the task: Very professional programming, staging and interpretation. All for a very modest price, barely more expensive than a movie theater and much cheaper than a boulevard theater. The cafeteria houses temporary exhibitions to see during the intermission, they are also interesting!
Some pieces are however for informed spectators, this is the case especially for Shakespeare which will not necessarily be suitable for everyone ...
