They are very nice on the phone. But you can find many videos online of people popping their keyboard keys off and putting them back on like its nothing so why are they quoting me $125 to get my laptop fixed and recommending a full keyboard replacement?

Follow up: that's the problem. You told me that it would cost at least $125 and that I would need a whole new keyboard without seeing my laptop. Asked me for pictures of my laptop model but not of the damage.

Anthony really knows his stuff!! Incredibly nice and fast. I had a phone screen crisis and he completely fixed it good as new in 30 minutes. Couldn't have survived spring break without his fix! Great stuff.

Anthony is highly proficient, knowledgeable, and fast! He saved me twice when lightning zapped my desktop and again with another system failure. I was impressed both times with his service and professionalism, and would find it hard to believe there is anyone better in the area for your computer solutions! Highest possible recommendation.

Anthony SAVED THE DAY after computer dropped and hard drive killed. Fast, Quality & Professional service. We're excited to know we have L&M on our side!!! Only tricky part is finding his office. But, don't let that stop you from seeking him out!!! He's worth all the effort.

Really nice guy in person, but ZERO communication otherwise. Never called back when he said he would. Also, told me I could meet him at X time to pick up my computer [that was not fixed], wasn't there at that time, and when I called, he said he "was on a job site." First off, a phone call would be nice in that case; other people have jobs, too, and are taking their time to come to your business at YOUR convenience. Second, he never once apologized. And to add to that, he never could remember who I was. I was trying to support local during these crazy COVID times and feel the care was not reciprocated.

Anthony is a computer whisperer. He has repaired not only four of our MacBooks but has also worked on and repaired several iPhones too. They were all older models and two other companies told us beyond repair. We brought them to Anthony and he said there was still hope. Not only did he get us back ups of our files but got them in working order. He is fast and very fairly priced.

I was vacationing in the area when my laptop suddenly stopped working. I called L and M and Anthony told me to bring the machine to him. He tried the most obvious solution then opened it up and discovered the motherboard was totally fried. I ordered a new laptop and had it delivered to him. Within 2 hours of delivery he called and said he had finished transferring my files. He gave me some help in figuring out the new machine. Price very reasonable. Anthony very professional and knowledgeable. All in all a relatively easy experience. I recommend0!

Anthony is amazing! He has fixed 3 phones, stands behind the screen repairs for 30 days, sometimes they just don't take so 1 was replaced a second time. He also got my laptop up and running smoothly again! I just dropped off 2 other old computers that he is cleaning up and getting all ready for the kids to use this school year! Thank you! If you need a computer guy, you've found the right one! Very responsive!

Anthony was able to service and return my 7 yr old laptop very quickly. It's working better than new. WOW! I would certainly recommend L&M Computer Solutions. It's comforting to know, right here in Santa Rosa Beach, Anthony has your back when your malfunctioning computer turns your life upside down. Thank you Anthony and Kim.

LIAR! Bad business and customer service, I called over the phone and someone quoted a price that was fair to me. I was arriving to get the phone fixed and made it clear that I may be on my way before hand. It s tricky finding the place btw. Didn t give directions when I called, instead he mentioned he didn t have the part and wasn t able to fix the phone. You knew this over the phone talking or you didn t want to fix the phone for the price quoted. Either way, don t LIE and waste peoples time!

First off, Anthony is a really nice guy. He's very determined on getting something done and stayed a bit overtime to help out with building my PC. But, there are also some negative sides. The big issue is pricing. To build a computer or "repair" a PC, it would cost you $225. Might not seem like a lot to some, but already spending $1,600 on my PC, that took a huge toll. The thing was, I didn't even have a problem with the building section. It was two issues, the power supply (which he figured out so I give props to him) and the motherboard didn't support the CPU (UNTIL YOU UPDATED IT USING THE MOTHERBOARDS OWN FEATURE CALLED "FLASHBIOS"). I left the shop and he calls me the next day saying that I had the wrong power supply. So I went to Best Buy and bought a power supply, another $70 out of my wallet, I drove to his shop and we then installed it. I didn't carefully check the compatibility of the power supply to the motherboard so it was on me, but charging $225 just for a bit of research and labor? I don't think is was worth it. We installed it and turned it on, still didn't work. Originally I told him the the motherboard doesn't support the CPU until we update it (you can update this specific motherboard without having the CPU installed by downloading a file, putting it in a flashdrive, and inserting it directly into the motherboard). I didn't think he remembered so I reminded him and he said that he hasn't done it yet. Luckily I had the flashdrive ready in my car so I ran out and grabbed it. The first time we booted up the PC with the BIOS ready flashdrive, it didn't work. I looked in the PC and realized that the CPU cord was in the wrong slot. It would make sense for the CPU cord to be in "CPU SLOT 1" instead of "CPU SLOT 2" right? He inserted the cord into the wrong slot. So I switched it and turned it one again and he saw it and said "Oh no did you just inserted the cord into the other slot? You might of just bricked your motherboard". Clearly he didn't know what he was saying because just like that, the update actually started. We waited for the update to finish and it successfully turned on. I then hand him $250, $25 more than the original price, but then he says, "I need more for the OS system I installed". Blindsided I was very confused on why I was being charged more. He stated that the computer wouldn't be able to start without the OS, even though I specifically stated that the motherboard was already ready with Windows 10, I just needed the code, which I told him I already had. He charged me another $100 for the OS. I remember how it said it too, "throw another $100 on that $50 and we are good". So, I'm paying a man $350 to watch me fix his mistake and install an OS that my motherboard already had. I asked him why was he charging me so much and he stated that I didn't have a disk drive, so I couldn't install the drivers required for the setup. I could of bought a cheap one for $20 dollars or asked one of my friends that I knew he had. But he just assumed that I didn't have one. Jumping forward a week, the code he gave me for "Windows 10 Pro", is a GVLK code. GVLK stands for "Generic Volume License Key". Meaning that it's a key that you can enter that instantly gives you access, but just for the setup process. After that it won't work and you'll need a genuine key from the store (which will cost you another $100). The worst part about this is that this GVLK key can be found online with a quick search. For free. So he sold me a code that doesn't work after a day and something he found publicly online. If I didn't know anything about computers I would of believed every word he said. I walked out of the store feeling ripped off and losing $300.

In short: Anthony is a good guy, but he has overpriced service. If you don't know much about PCs, you might be tricked. Do your research and try your best to find out what the problem is before coming to a PC repair shop.
