L Hotels and resorts Seminyak Review

Tossing up on how many stars to give. The staff were fantastic, couldn t do enough for you and the shuttle service is brilliant and so convenient. However the place is getting on a bit now, the rooms are small and the bathroom in the bedroom (which I knew about, I had read reviews) is quite odd. And the toilet being so close to one of the twin beds was a bit iffy. The bathroom facilities were clean but as they are old and worn, they don t look particularly clean. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. But it s not an expensive place so you are paying for what you get. My main issue is the blaring disco music in the lobby and bar/dining. Had to ask nice reception staff to turn it down on arrival (lunchtime) as we could barely hear them speak. Also in the morning having breakfast I really don t want to listen to loud disco music competing with the loud traffic. But like I say, you get what you pay for.

Nice hotel with comfortable beds, rooms are a bit compressed but hav everything. The hotel is in a good location with restraunts near by.

I was so excited to stay in a glamorous place and after looking at the hotel facilities thought I was in for a treat!
Unfortunately this is not the experience that I had. There is no pool, spa or rooftop bar facilities at the hotel which Is what I expected from the hotels ad. The rooms where also very dated and grimy (dirty). We were on the second floor and the room was very noisy and bright at night (no black out curtains). I would not recommend anyone to stay here.

You will feel like home here. It is part of the small luxury hotel group. Food at the restaurant is flavorful & well-presented. Staff are friendly & helpful. Pool is inviting and the spa services are not bad.

OK, where do I begin...
The hotel was advertised with a pool, where in reality the pool was actually 3 blocks away, and we had to wait for 45 minutes TWICE for the shuttle service to pick us up. It is also advertised with a rooftop bar where in fact the only thing on the rooftop is a patio with some chairs on it and no bar in sight.
We payed an extra $70 more than our friends for a "suite" which was in fact the exact same room that they had one floor below us, the only difference was that ours had "city views", which was just a window that looked directly onto a construction site.
We ordered room service and paid $6 AUD for 8 potato wedges, and we had also ordered chicken strips which we called about twice and never arrived.
Every morning our room would be serviced and cleaned and every day we would have to call up and ask for towels as none had been replaced.
Our toilet sink had an incredibly strong sewerage smell coming out of it and it stunk out the entire room on multiple occasions.
Our shower broke 2 days into our stay.
The only positive about this hotel was the air conditioning in our room which was cold, but for the price we paid for a 4 night stay ($500 AUD), we would have been better to stay at the hostel across the road. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Very nice hotel room, location and the service are the best. Their breakfast also delicious, I ordered western breakfast. They also give free shuttle in Seminyak area. Free enterence if go to Miss Sippy. I love this hotel.

First, the hotel is similiar and there are quite a lot hotel in this area has much bigger room. Second; There are no pool and gym. If you wanna go to pool and gym, they will take you to SOHAM which around 10 to 15 minutes by walking. The only good about this hotel is The Luxe Suite room which has bathup inside room and make a different character on this hotel.
