My uncle was admitted to Parker Jewish in 2018 and was treated with the utmost care and consideration while there. With every visit, I witnessed how the staff, the doctors, and the institute as a whole was structured to care for the patients housed with their walls. My uncle was suffering from Parkinson's and at times could be a difficult patient. But the nurses and staff never gave up on him. As someone with quite a few members of his immediate family in the medical field, I can speak to bedside manner from experience and those that work at Parker Jewish are the cream of the crop. Not to mention the daily activities, the cultural food, the prayer room, and the television/entertainment offerings, which helped my uncle feel at home. While he e has passed now, I know that his time at Parker Jewish was spent in comfort and in true care. Thank you for all that you do Parker Jewish. My family and I will never forget it!

Our sister Padma Sareen was admitted to Parker Jewish institute after having a stroke about more than a year ago. She is getting efficient, professional and genuine care from the entire staff. This place is a home away from home for her. We would like to thank the entire staff for doing an excellent job with our sister. From the nursing staff, aides to the front lobby staff they are all always fulfilling our sister s request and making her stay a comfortable one.

Special appreciation for Parker Jewish administration: While we are pleased with the care she has received, last week, Parker Jewish administration arranged a remarkable drive-by visit by families to meet their loved-ones finally under the difficult Covid situation. The best part was that we saw our sister in the wheelchair with her favorite Kathleen Keegan, Director- Therapeutic Recreation. We felt very good seeing our sister after more than 3-months. This was a kind gesture on the part of Parker Jewish admin and we greatly appreciate it.

In the process of her rehab and medical care, we need special mention of one very caring person that is Ms. Sujata Seth, Public Affairs Associate, representative - Parker s Indian Cultural Unit on the 4th floor. As a family, we found Sujata a high-quality professional, providing her services to our sister and the other Indian residents on the floor. Her caring nature and genuine desire to help patients and family members was outstanding and therefore she earned our trust in a short amount of time. Through these difficult times, she has communicated very well with our family of 3-brothers and their spouses. Along with Padma, she treated us also with empathy, understanding and respect. We wish to thank her for all her help to us and we are sure she is making a difference in patient care at Parker Jewish Institute.

If you want to lose your license apply for a job here. 35 patients to 1 LPN and you have to do every single care for the 35 resident and paperwork included. The state visits verrrrry often and there is a lot of out of compliance going on in the faculty. They would cover up and put on a show when the state is there and as they leave the next day it is back to 1 nurse per 35 patients. Managements and supervisors are rude, disrespectful and mistreats the employees. New hires quit as fast as they get in and notice the doll house. Do not apply to work at this place you will be sorry especially that you have a license to protect. Take your family members elsewhere at least you ll know your family member won t die not knowing you sent them gifts for Christmas and you re package was not delivered to them but sat in their room until they die and the room is being cleared out.

Terrible place. Nobody answers phones at nursing station. Patients left by themselves who are at fall risk. Linens soiled and not changed. Never bring your loved ones to this place. A prison cell would be better off. You ask the RN a question and they re rude. I asked the CNA that the patient requires attention and he says he has 11 other patients to take care of. Extremely under staffed. There is absolutely no compassion towards care of the patient

Our grandmother was at the Indian Unit at Parker Jewish. Although for a very short period, the staff in the Indian Unit was extremely caring and helpful. We are very grateful to Molly Joseph for her professionalism. We can't thank Sujata Seth and Dr Saroj Shah for going above and beyond in making our grandmother's stay a good one. Thanks again to the whole staff and team.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My father was admitted here in mid September. The social work department is absolutely useless. After a week and a half of trying to get hold of him, speaking to him maybe 4x's. The only time we received a call from anyone was the day after he was admitted about his evaluation and then it was a battle to get anyone from social work to call us back with updates, information. We were given conflicting information about visitation. My father passed away after a week and a half, and only when picking up his belongings did the head of social work say "oh we would have let you visit him" Disgusting!!!!! You have no compassion or care and I would NEVER send another family member to this uncaring facility.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely the worse facility. My parent got covid while in this facility, got vaccinated, and the facility is still unable to arrange visitation. The nurses are completely unresponsive when trying to facetime and all-around the care has been subpar. My recommendation is to find a different facility.

If I can only put ZERO will definitely do. All hospitals and other facilities were giving a vaccine for COVID-19 however PARKER JEWISH INSTITUTE ARE NOT WELCOME TO DO THAT. I am a frontliner too however NOT YET an EMPLOYEE of that facility. Frustrated frontliner.

I was admitted to Parker on 12/20/19 after a hip replacement. I was greeted by RNs and aides rudely not knowing what room I was admitted to. Nursing care below standards. Food horrible. Parker is really a nursing home that does rehab for there geriatric patients. Nothing more should be expected. But there are some very good people working there.

Horrible horrible. Unorganized, unresponsive. Only bring your loved one here if there is no other choice. Very short staffed. Only some dedicated to their job. So sad. Had to escalate everything to get things done family member.
