Don't go here for lunch without your ID. They will refuse entry even though you are not drinking

The staff here are exceptional. Friendly, professional and go the extra bit to make you feel so welcome. The view is amazing.
Car parking facilities are huge but so difficult to find a park as constantly full.

I was very disappointed with the lady at the reception when signing in. I felt like she was being smart and rude, and there was certainly no reason for it. It made the experience of visiting the club negative right from the start. We will never come back here, even though I am a member of another surf club on the Gold Coast. Maybe your staff can do with some personality training, because other people signing in also commented how rude she was to guests and visitors.

Delicious prawn & chicken laksa!!!! Altho I only got 2 prawns (more like shrimps) the flavour was great!!! But $23... hmmm special of the day??.. maybe $17 would've been a better special price.

The only positives about this surf club would be the new renos and the amazing view. The staff are not the nicest and dont seem to want to be working there. This was evident from the receptionists when you walk in, to the resturaunt and bar staff. The food is average for a surf club, especially when you take into consideration the prices. We were sat at a table near the bar, not the resturaunt, which seemed to be because we had a toddler. And where they had put us was like being in a wind tunnel. The side windows were open causing the breeze to come in one and out the other, so everything was flying off the table. Staff could see this and didnt care. Didnt bother to ask if we wanted to move or anything. We acctually got married years ago at the old kurrawa, so had high hopes for the new one... boy were we dissapointed.

The club is right on the beach front at Broadbeach. Excellent venue, grest meals and cold beer.

Wow! We had the most fantastic day at Kurrawa Surf Club for Melbourne Cup Day today!! The food is ALWAYS amazing and the service is great, not to mention the most beaitiful view of the Beach! But today they went over and above, even better than we expected (and we have high expectations haha!). Craig the Manager hosted the day perfectly with fashions on the field, sweeps and incredible attention to detail. Craig and his team made the day absolutely brilliant and it all seemed effortless which certainly wouldn't have been the case on such a busy day. Well done to the whole team, thank you all so much! P.s your Chef's deserve a medal, 10/10!!

The location is fabulous but it is very noisy and is a bit like eating in a food hall...the renos are great but they've lost the surf club feeling

Great. Layout not kid friendly. Has an older clientel. Good pub food. Tight table reanagement.
Saddy the view could of been better used with the renovation as the bottom floor is not used that much. Great cafe stall outside during the day. Should be open later to get the dinner time too.

I don't normally like to write anything negative...however we were staying across the road from the surfclub so went there ifor r lunch and unfortunately received a raw meal which had to be sent back. Thought we'd give another go because of the great location however again received 2 unedible meals which again we sent back. They acknowledged the meals were unacceptable and did give is a full refund of our money. The location great, staff friendly enough however the food well below par...

The skin on my salmon was crispy and beautiful, only the fish was pale and lacked rich flavour. The beef brisket was huge and looked great, and desserts were good.

Super busy any night of the week. There can be a line out the door waiting to have your license scanned. We got a park onsite pretty easily, but we were early (6pm) Expect to wait for a table I'l if you don't have a reservation. I personally didn't like the food; quite high prices for fairly average pub-grub. I ordered spaghetti marinara which I wouldn't recommend; I'd suggest probably sticking to the fish and chips and you'll be right. Typically, a huge part of the club is sectioned of for POKIES. Staff are all really busy so don't expect friendly welcoming service; they're just here to do their jobs in a really busy environment. I probably won't go back, unless the ocean views draw me back in!

Loved our meals here- & the coffee shop by the beach. Just needs a couple more vegetarian options.

Right on the beach. Looks like it was recently refurbished. Been a while since I have been back there. Food is great and at the entrace you are warmly greeted by the staff. Atmosphere at night is buzzing. Locals are in plentiful.

It's a well located restaurant, clean and new, nice and friendly staff. Pizza was ok.

My family and I ordered 4 different meals and not one of us was impressed. The food was horrible. After a couple of bites of each meal we all agreed to cut our losses and leave to get dinner elsewhere. We will never be returning to Kurrawa surf club.

Very good value for money. The view from the restaurant is awesome in the daytime. If you pick a peak time, there can be a wait time as it gets very busy.. great for families.

5 stars for the amazing location and 3 for the food. Sensational views and nicely renovated club.

The new outfit is ultra modern you have great ocean views where ever you sit, staff are fantastic, Beer is Cold, food is great in choice, flavour, and value especially if you are a member. Would recommend the Kurrawa Surf Club to any one

Very disappointed with the meal. Ordered the Sirloin from the Spanish charcoal oven and it was very dry. Everyone else s meal was the same. Wouldn t recommend a visit. Staff were nice upstairs.

Great views of the beach and ocean. Meals are great but a little on the high side for a club. Not a fan of the whole sign in and members discount especially since that means you need to join every club that you go to to use the discount.

Concierge was welcoming and polite. Staff were friendly, food was ok. We had the share seafood platter, plenty of food just wasn't that fresh seafood flavour I was hoping for.

Amazing view but some serious attitude from a waitress. There was nobody at the front counter inside so I wandered out to the balcony to see how to get a table. The waitress was out there talking to another waitress and I pretty politely asked if there were any tables - "Oh you've decided not to wait by the sign inside that says wait to be seated. OK" Well hello to you too! It was pretty unnecessary and despite being a nice place with good food this kinda ruined the atmosphere. I really don't understand why you'd work in hospitality if you don't like people. She'd be better off working by herself somewhere. Maybe a one-person mine site? Maybe just go on Centre link actually. Some people capable of work should just stay home. I'd support that in the budget. Leave restaurants with good views to those people who like to work with the public, even when we make small mistakes.

I From Geelong Victoria I was in the gold cast for Christmas and on from Friday tea her and meals look great. it was a great night out be for go back down to Victoria and great set up by looking out from the ocean at night time.

Food is ok but surf clubs are getting very overpriced. My friend ordered a salad , too much green leaves(spinach) and soaked in mayonnaise.
However overall friendly service and good atmosphere.

Called in for lunch and were lucky to get a table as they were full or reserved so would suggest making a booking ahead. Was very busy but food came out promptly and was delicious. The atmosphere is lovely and the ocean front view is divine, sea breeze on a hot day was welcoming

Food was so bad. Had Indian Dahl Curry, just a watery tasteless load of vegetables. Very disappointed.

A large club house, lots of people, but it lost the club family atmosphere. The prices are not cheap. Expensive is NOT conducive with a family club. It is supposed to give back to the community. It has a loyal club following.

New and nice looking, and the prices match it. Quite an interesting menu selection, but the delivery of the items needed work. The brisket burger was lacking messy, dripping BBQ sauce. If you are a member, it makes prices a lot more reasonable though.

As my daughter said, "The food came quicker than getting takeaway."

Stunning venue for a get together or conference. A little pricey for a meal for an... okay meal. Will return simply for the atmosphere and location and to try different meals. If its your first time remember your photo id.

Made our group wait for over 15 minutes at the front entrance and weren t allowed in as we were not member but lived within 15km of the club

Slow service, small expensive portions, cold coffee, staff friendly but disorganised.

Good quality basic food at very good prices. Usually very good and friendly service. Very nice views across the beach. A great place during good weather.

Service from staff was great, lovely view but the food was very over cooked and didn't taste nice at all.

Exceptional service, good food, lots of choices, reasonable prices, good bar range, fabulous views over the ocean.

Could not fault. 12 hour slow cooked brisket was amazing. Even though it was busy Saturday night, starters and mains came out quickly. Staff were on point

Great views but food is terrible which is surprising as other local surf clubs are very good.

SUPER CRISP CHIPS ARE NOT
We hadn't been here for a long time and thought we'd try it again.
I'd suggest booking ahead of you want a window seat as even miss week it gets busy and seats are booked.
Unfortunately the panko crumbed fish was overcooked and the chips were soft. Not super crispy as advertised.
On a brighter note, the service could not be faulted. Friendly quick and efficient.
We suggest parking at the Oasis as the car park is consistently full.

Had a booking for 10 ppl, we were refused entry because we lived beyond the local area.

The food was nice. The setup was terrible. We ordered food, then had to move from table to table, as they were ALL reserved. What is the point of ordering food if you can't actually eat it anywhere.

Had an amazing time at this beautiful club, in particular my dealings with duty manager, I think her name is Emma was so helpful and friendly it really made our stay memorable. Thanks Emma!
