Very average food, seafood chowder with curry......disgusting, burnt schnitzel, kids cheeseburger was off, never again.

Big portions for reasonable price. Usually overcrowded.

Very very helpful workers.
My child is a very fussy eater and they catered to that, not a problem at all.
Very neat and clean venue.

Centrally located and hence very busy. Great views of the beach from the deck if you can find a spot. Reservations might help in that regard.

Great views, pretty good food, although the dips come out in little plastic containers, which is out of character with the meal.

A great venue... great staff always super friendly. For our group a perfect location for firstly our reunion then weekly catch ups and now our Christmas get together.. keep up the good work... did i mention the great food always a plus

Great bistro, great views,good bars and seating, great staff.

Rubbish Had to return our chicken cesar salad as it was pink ...twice. . In the end just ordered another meal as we were hungry.
Wife had to be convinced to stay and finish Sorry, but these tourists wouldn't be returning

Food, service, value and atmosphere were all really good. Highly recommended.

Visited on a Friday evening thinking it might be a nice family friendly space. Inside it was noisy and not very pleasant if you want to have a conversation. The 'outside' space on the terrace was much more calm but also a little cold. Having to do trips inside to get drinks from the bar and to grab cutlery was a bit tedious as well, but ultimately the food was pretty good and came reasonably promptly.

Average seafood for a surfclub. All the food was average at best. Bar service was like ordering drinks from a todler and wait times for all service drinks and food also poor. All round for the money would not go again. Only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is the pepper sauce was good.

Fully renovated into a very flash surf club, very well run, friendly staff and terrific food at reasonable prices.

Lovely staff always open to requests to vary the menu for dietary requirements.

Good location. Staff were a bit... standoffish. When we called to book we got a very "Off the script" response of no bookings avalible. But rocked up and there were plenty of tables. Overall felt like we were an imposition, and that we should be grateful to be allowed in their presence. Price wasnt terrible, but the food was just ok. If you set your expectations at "Standard pub fare" you will be alright. Good view. Thats about it.

One of the best surf clubs I've been in. Really friendly staff and even though they were very busy the wait times at the bar were minimal. Food was very good and we ate there most nights on our stay. Would highly recommend this establishment.

Awesome place to come for a drink and a meal. Meals have been amazing and staff are friendly. Views of the ocean is a bonus. Highly recommend.

The mains are great but desserts let it all down. I had a caramel tart..needed a jack hammer to get thru pastry . Gave up!!..also they need to use real cream, not canned stuff with no substance or flavour...surely not too hard to offer a simple icecream sundae????

Ceaser salad ...lettuce was brown ...oysters were expensive .... and average. More than the building has changed ... both not really for the better...

Since the new build I have visited many times the venue is stunning with sea breeze while eating the food is awesome first meal I got when they reopened was a rib eye steak and can honestly say was the best steak I had all year great place for a drink and socialise also there's a great cafe downstairs that has also great food. Only bad thing I'd say would be can get really busy and long waits but the quality is worth the wait also parking very limited.

One of the best steaks I have ever had at a surf club. Price getting up there at about $32 but actually worth it. Could do a lot worse. Drinks at a good price as well.

I hate the sign in process, why it really has to be done I don't know. apparently it really matters. Food was very good but not cheap

Great venue, but I ordered a sirloin steak but I got rump steak that I could have use on the bottom of my shoes as soles and walked the whole circumference or Australia twice.

The woman at the reception desk today is the worst possible first point of contact a business could have. She was aggressively rude about the electronic sign in...when my elderly father had trouble understanding she continued to bark the same two line phrase "club name and number"at two second intervals..she must have done that fifteen times before i told her to stop. Anyone with half a brain or any kindness or basic humanity might have tried to show people who dont understand. Her job description doesn't seem to involve much so if explaining the sign in aggravates her maybe she should be removed from where she is able to ruin people's appetites. We left specifically because of her...it was my birthday lunch and she left a sour taste in my mouth.
Just remembered why i havent eaten here is over 10 years despite living two blocks away. You're all lucky you have the location because everything else about kurrawa is sub par.
We were also told we couldn't get a steak sandwhich because it was a special menu item.. seriously sort it out. It should be a staple item. That said i won't be coming back so its irrelevant how dumb the menu choices are. I only left one star because it wouldn't let me leave none.

Excellent place for coffee. The meals are as expected for the price. The dining area can be a bit noisy in the evening and that is mainly due to the building design. I think that the old club building had more character and charm.

Worse breakfast ever. $20 per head, eggs one way, scrambled and sitting for a day, soggy tomato, baked beans from a can, worse coffee. Service was terrible. Felt like an inconvenience to staff. Too much competition between surf clubs for disappointing breakfasts.

Yes we had coffees down on ground floor and a walk on beach then back for a 113o lunch and drinks .all was good so will wait till after Com games and make it a day a week trip.. great staff as well. RON..

These guys are useless. If I could have rated them 0 stars I would have. It was a significant birthday event and they completely stuffed up our booking.

I won't be coming here again next time I'm at the Gold Coast.

We both had fish, chips and salad, the salad was a TRUE one and not rocket (rabbit) food. It was very nice upstairs, we will definitely come again.

Great location.Excellent breakfast variety at the Tower 28 Cafe.Strongly recommend you visit the Cafe.You will not be disappointed .
