Although not classic Chinese comfort food, the menu offers a range of surprisingly diverse flavors. The fish flavored egg plant is amazing. Let dishes cool slightly before diving in though!

Great Szechuan dishes. Cumin Fried Fish with Chef's Special Green Beans is our most common pick. Also like the Fish Flavored chicken. Deep-Fried Pork Intestines with Red Chili Pepper is good for something different. Many of the dishes are hot, pay attention to the pepper ratings on the menu if you're sensitive to spicy heat.
Many menu choices. Large portions. Plates served family style. The sizzling shrimp dish is great.
Excellent authentic food. First time there and was well worth it.
Amazing food, never disappointing dishes and wonderful service!
Kung Pao chicken, "fish" pork, fried rice, braised beef soup. All amazing. Good value, service was fine.
So many incredible dishes to try. Authentic and well priced for the volume of food you get.
Good food, pleasant service. Always a good sign when a Chinese restaurant is actually full of Chinese patrons.
I ordered the eggplant dish...tasted ok...but really upset my stomach. Husband's dish was just ok too. Expensive. Won't be ordering here again.
This is by far a favorite place for My Husband & I!! Always great food & service!
Really good authentic style Chinese served family style. Took a little bit to figure out what to order, but we were very pleased with what we got. Sweet and sour pork and kung pao chicken.
Expensive, but amazing spicy (authentic?) food. Fun, busy, thematic environment.
This is extremely unreliable restaurant. Very bad food . Served just bland vegetables. Never recommend this place. Avoid this place if you have no choice.
Best Chinese food in town, no doubt. Great flavors, great drinks and the staff is always quick and friendly. During quarantine, their food is still outstanding and the takeout process is seamless. They even gave me extra black tea with my order as a thank you for ordering. My favorite local place, and I'll continue coming back!
The two best things on the menu are the kung pao chicken and chef's special green beans. Prices seem high, until you realize how large each order is. If you don't eat a lot of spicy food, you might want to pre-game with some Pepto, because most dishes come with a generous supply of delicious (but fairly hot) tien tsin peppers.
Good was FAST, FRESH, and DELICIOUS!!!! Highly recommend.
It was fantastic the food was good but the spicy level is a little off chart asked for mild still super spicy but delicious
cold chicken to go....4 minutes ready! Spicy sauce good!
I'm picky about my Oriental food and this is hands down some of the best in town. Always consistent and delicious. Unique dishes make for an entertaining experience. I've personally recommended this place to many people.
Best food in Eugene. The fish flavored shredded pork is delicious and their Kung Pao chicken is also super yummy. If you don t like spice ask for mild, although it might take away from flavor. They also have perfectly cooked rice
This is definitely the best place for Chinese food in eugene. The food and service is always wonderful and it is great for groups because you can get a few dishes to share. After reading here, I can't enjoy Chinese food anywhere else If you get the chance, you should definitely try it!
Excellent Sichuan food has finally arrived in Eugene! Go with a Chinese person if you don't know Chinese because there is a Chinese menu. Must-try dishes imo are pickled chilies with pork/chicken/beef ( and an appetizer which I think they call in English cold jelly noodles. Chinese is .
They cook very authentic Chinese sichuan food. Definitely a must try place.
delicious lo mein, good fried rice and other dishes
Nice staff, good food, but they pressured for my personal bank card over the phone before pickup. The person over the phone said that is common practice and didn't give me a chance to speak. Shameful!
Good food, very busy. I usual experience a 10 to 20 minute wait for a table. I really love the chefs special green beans. And their Kung Pao Tofu is excellent.
Very popular with the Chinese students... But pretty greasy dishes overall
This place has some of the best Chinese food. I only wish it was closer to my house!
Unbelievably flavored food that is hands down the best in town!
Very small and intimate. Love how authentic everything is including the food. This is a great place to take a date. Food items on the menu I've never tried until going there.
The food was excellent it is by far the best Chinese food in Eugene.
Always absolutely delicious. BEST Chinese in town, or anywhere, really.
For such a large holliday till Feb. 6th. They may want to put that on the web site / Google /maps..
Best Chinese food in town, maybe in the state! Kind staff. Sometimes a short wait. Extensive menu. Always delicious! Food adventures!
What a great time! Such good food and service. Family style plates and delicious options make this a place I will want to come back to!
I was disappointed that they didn't serve panda, but overall a pleasant dining experience.
Certainly not bad; we tried the fried noodles with pork, vegetable fried rice, vegetable egg rolls, seaweed egg drop soup and scallion pancake. It was all good but not mind blowing (except for the scallion pancake which was very yummy).
Note: the fried noodles are not crunchy like you might expect, so if you're like me and love crunchy things you might be disappointed.
The service was pretty good with our waiter being very friendly. It gets packed pretty quick and they have a somewhat small space; if you're not here right after they open you should expect to wait a bit for a table.
A nice experience, but I think we prefer the taste of food elsewhere so I'm unsure if we'll return.
Was with 6 person had order coming on the table to eat my as they were eating the orders my did not come till every was finishing the orders then my order came so late every one was done so I had to take order home which that sad to not enjoy with my family that's why they get only one star
This is great. There is often a short wait for a table. Some great items on the menu. The kitchen is quick, partly because they bring dishes out family style as they're done.
This place is sort of a secret even though there's often a full house and a line outside. Don't overlook the chilis on the menu even if you do like spicy foods.
Just go. Stop reading this and tell Google to navigate you. Might as well save it as a favorite while you're at it. It's that good.
This place will change everything you think you know about Chinese food.
Family style Chinese cuisine. Closer to authentic dishes than westernized asian offerings.
A large variety of dishes available.
Very popular with international students and locals.
REALLY EXPENSIVE, BUT WORTH EVERY PENNY!!! I wasn't expecting the price, but the flavor and portion sizes were good. Definitely worth it!
Kung Fu Bistro consistently serves up Chinese food that is always delicious and fresh! It is a little on the spicy side, but they also have non-spicy dishes on their plentiful menu. When I dine in I have always experienced excellent and professional service. Some of my favorite menu items are the garlic green beans and hot & sour soup. I can't even think about their Kung Pao chicken I am so hooked on it...uh-oh! Their seaweed salad is delectably different from your average seaweed salad. The restaurant may be small, but getting an order for take out is never a problem. Thank you Kung Fu Bistro for the amazing food!
Delicious food, excellent service. Best Chinese food in town
Fantastic spicy food, friendly staff. Waits can be long.
Had the kung pao chicken, potstickers, hot and sour soup, and chicken with fish sauce. All excellent.
So....I usually order at Lok Yaun however it seems they are closed. I ve heard so many good reviews we were excited to try. I am unsure if there is new owner ship or what due to the virus but our experience was horrible. We got sweet and More
Service was absolutely terrible. We waited 1-1/2 hours from the time we arrived to get our food.
Ordered for takeaway last week. Very easy to order over the phone and call when you re there to pickup.
Ordered the KungFu noodles, pig ear, cumin lamb, and the scallion pancake. Everything was absolutely delicious.
Definitely worth checking out.
Been coming here for years. One of the two best Chinese food restaurants in Eugene.
Great food, especially the Chef's Special Green Beans. The one drawback is that is is quite small, usually resulting in a wait of some length.
This is the Chinese restaurant Eugene was missing. They compare favorably to LA or San Fransisco. Not at all like your standard American Chinese restaurant. It has more complex and challenging dishes. All I ve tried are delicious. Worth driving from any part of town to visit
Excellent fish flavoured eggplant and other veggie options!
Mushy soggy beef fried rice. Quite possibly one of the most disgusting things I've ever eaten. Paid $10+, couldn't eat more than a fork full without almost puking. I mean, if they can't even get that most basic of dishes right, can't imagine anything else is edible. Pretty disappointing to say the least.
Friends bought this for us. Went in to get pur to go order. Had a great atmosphere! The food was delicious as well. Can't wait to go back sometime.
Best Chinese food besides my own mom's cooking, sooooooooooo good!!! I would come to Eugene for this restaurant alone!
Too much oil. Pay by card separately is not accepted.
Had dinner with my brother-in-law and family best Szechuan Restaurant I have ever eaten in an I've eaten in a lot New York in San Francisco
The very best and so far the only, awesome Chinese food in Eugene, OR <3 The spicy fish is OMGDDSS good <3 SB
Excellent food at a reasonable price. The sweet and sour pork is a must!!
I have eaten here before and decided to try the fried rice, they need to put fresh vegetables in the shrimp fried rice the peas and the carrots were frost bitten. The shrimp although a generous size was cold as if not cooked together with rice, just threw together at the last minute for almost $13 for only that I expected better quality. The staff needs training
Always great food and great service. Tonight they offered me a glass of water while I was waiting on a to go order. First time any restaurant has done that for me. Will be back often.
One of the best restaurant to have SiChuan food in Eugene. Their Soup, Fried Food, SiChuan Boiled Beef/Fish series are very tasty. Their waiters and waitresses are the most friendly ones of the authentic Chinese restaurants', and there are a lot of non-Chinese people go there to have food, which is rarely the case when it comes to a pretty authentic Chinese restaurant.
One of the best Szechuan places I've been to. The portions are extremely generous (meant to be shared perhaps), and the quality and size of the menu is pretty great. My favorites are the fish dishes with bean sauce and pretty much anything with pickled chili peppers.
My wife loves this place. I have been to China 3 times now and this is the closest to real Chinese food you will find in Eugene with out have to try to custom order something off menu. Or finding a way to tell then that you do not what to white person menu. It's a little expensive but the food is almost always very good.
Kung Fu Bistro has awsome food and to go food as well. They have good location and parking. The menu is extensive and truly authentic. It is a small restaurant but very well attended. They are our go-to for really good Chinese food.
This was my second time attempting this Bistro and glad I did! The service was great and the atmosphere was nice because it wasn't very busy when I went around 2pm. I had the Fish flavored eggplant and Double cooked pork. Each with its unique taste, made my palate happy. Would recommend these two dishes if you enjoy eggplant and/or pork belly. The Double cooked pork has a slight spiciness but not eye watering. I had hoped the eggplant would remind me of a dish I had previously in China, however even though it was good, was not exactly the same (never is). It had a slight sweetness but almost umami in flavor.
